Artanis I Sultana: Oh yeah, thank's for the Alligator correction, lol, your even more of a wrestler than I thought!!.... BTW, Narface tried to take over your position, lol, but he will be the Gong playa!!.... ;-)

Stu Clone: Yo Yo Yo 700!!....

death cube K: I think I already told you, but I'll say it again.... Happy Birthday!!....

mick87: lol, my HFH (harmonics from hell) will be included on my Terrifying Cowbell Trip dvd!!....It's ok to let the word out cause no one has a cowbell like mine....With Mike Manning as my Zemaster Cowbell tech, no on will stop me!!....BTW, I just read When the Glock Strikes Midnight: A Tutorial For the Crappy Beginner has become a bestseller!!....hehe ;-) BTW, take care of that ankle bro!!....It's real easy to twist it again, I've done it many times....MAN, THAT HURTS!!....

The Prez: ZAKK owes everything to Ozzy (although I think Ozzy should retire also, lol), but I read somewhere that they want ZAKK to clean his act up or else he's out....He's a drinking machine, and seems out of control....BTW, I like the pic's, especially the one with JOE beating up the SBM haters, lol!!....

Narface: Congrat's, and here's your ASAHI!! Goooonnnnggggnnnnggggggg!! ;-)

962: lol, King Of Clubs is great, and Raw Blues Power has it's moments, but it is more of an original blues style that may be hard for you to get into....If they have Burning Organ I would get that with KOC....Good cross there, and Alligator Farm has some good stuff too....Two Become One (Spice Girls remake) which is awesome, and his best Instrumental (IMHO) Let The Computer Decide is on there!!....He plays a 7 stringer for that one....All out balls to the wall!!....If you got the $$, get all three, lol, and same on Kotzen....His newer stuff is great cause he's really refined his playing style....lol, spend that quid!! ;-)

Do The Stu: What's up with the bouncer only receiving a 4 month jail term?!?!.... That's crazy....

gleed: Havent heard Ihoujin, lol, but isnt Sakai the same star that Marty Friedman is touring Japan with as her guitarist?? edit: I see that was Aikawa Nanase that Marty played for, lol.... I'll have to check out that other stuff you were talking about

Sky_Ant: Thanks for the review, and CONGRATS!!....

....Saw a Jaco (some kind of "re-visited") cd the other day, and it had some killer bassist's on there doing remakes, I believe, of Jaco' stuff....Is it any good??

Edit: mick87: All three artist's are great, but may I suggest Mike Stern' Between The Lines!!!!....More Melodic stuff in there than SATCH!!....Well, almost....lol Mike will blow you away!!....

JOE!!! Can't wait to see the DVD!!! Please make it longer than the first one?

Mick: no wrath brought forth this time. Lucky for everyone, really.

"Thunder from Down Under" is a term we usually hear in reference to ManPower (male stripshow tour), but I think in general it's whatever the heck you want it to mean.

TomSr/Austin/Mick: that's how I did it...

If correction of the day wasn't "crutches" then it's "make sure you include http:// or the link won't work"

Mike: don't tell anyone, but I've never actually seen a croc...something to do with living at the wrong end of the country...it's too cold here. Likewise, there aren't any fairy penguins up there but there are here. I'm an ace fairy penguin wrestler though!!! They're pretty big. An adult male can get to be as big as 1 foot, rounding up to the nearest foot. Scary I tell you. Not a challenge to be taken lightly.

Ovation - lmao.. would you look at that, my book has hit #1 in Fiji! They always did love me there, lol... best of luck with the Dvd, heh... And the ankle is feeling a lot better, well compared to before. The Mike Stern one sounds good, thanks bud!

Artanis - LOL Dude, are you serious?! Maybe we should call you the Attack From The Outback or something instead, just so the ladies aren't confused.

Night all...

Hey Joe just out of curiousity how do you play that tapping section in always with me always with you so fluidly because I have tried countless time to do it and I can't play so can you give me a step by step walk through of it. Because I was there when you were at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and I was watching you play that and I still don't understand how it is so fluid Thanx.

ovation1 - I've seen that Jaco "tribute" CD as well. It's probably a great buy, but I'm going to hold off on it until I am more familiar with Jaco's other albums.

If you want a good place to start, get his self-titled solo album or Weather Report's Heavy Weather. For those in the US (sorry, Mike...LOL), CD Universe is selling these albums for $9.95 each. They are both a steal at that price.

EDIT - The first person to discover the identity of the "reviewer in California, USA" (read the reviews at the bottom of each page) will receive ten points in the "Hey! Austin wrote a few reviews for CD Universe!!!" competition.

Artanis I: I like your new hometown United States o Australia ;-)

Do The Stu: lol, thank's for the heads up, and is that reviewer you!?!? ;-)....hehe, I see you can write, lol, nice review: A Must-Have For Any Bassist This album is a definite must-have for all bass players out there. This recording is over 25 years old, but it has been remastered and it sounds excellent. The two bonus tracks and extensive liner notes are a nice touch as well. Portrait Of Tracy, my favorite song on the album, is absolutely beautiful. Submitted by a reviewer in California, USA.... hmmmmm....BTW, I have a PO Box, so shipping to me is not a problem....Same price ;-)

Wow...that was fast. The ten points go to Mike aka ovation1, the neo-classical cowbell virtuoso. Congratulations. Save your points...when you get 100 you can redeem them for a brand-spankin'-new cowbell-striking mallet.
