Hi Joe! Was a great tour! Can't wait to see the new amps! Would have never thought Peavey, though, it doesn't matter. :D
Narface - I like a lot of video game music. And not that new way of doing music, you know, "Hey Sum41 plz give us sum tracks 4 our cool new game d00dz kthx bye!!!". I'm talking orchestrated electronic, or orchestrated..orchesta! Stuff like Nobuo Uematsu (oh I hope I spelled it right), the guy who does the Final Fantasy music. I also just got into this group called Kill Hannah, who I suppose is electronic rock...or something... weird like that. I can't find any of their albums anywhere though =/.
Joe, you just have to contribute some stuff to a good video game! I'm hoping for some good final battle music in an RPG, though I'm sure a racing game would be cool too. :)

Lyz: OMG!! Kill Hannah! Yeah! I listen to thier stuff too! I just found out about them last month. I got thier new CD. It's really different from what I listen to. A good, fresh change. And yeah! I saw them live! They played a free gig at my school's college bar! It was totally awesome~

I want Eddie Van Halen for the next G3, just because (sadly) I think that's the only way I'll ever get to see him in a live setting.
Jake 49ers - My computer is about the only thing that keeps me sane when I'm in my dorm...I guess that's why I post so often. Ask MegaBoyd and anuj about it...they've seen how boring my room here is...LOL. ;-)
trutina - Welcome back! I've never heard the quote about comparing filesharing to communism, but that's a good point. Let me know if you remember who said it.
Stu Clone - Willow rocks. Oh, wait...you're talking about the movie, huh? Yeah, that was good too. :-)
Luke the Duke - You could create a new username just for the Satch Tapes contest.
Zachary - I read the first part of your message to SupaaDave ("I still have your measurements and address...") and, well, I think it speaks for itself. Taken completely out of context, it made me laugh...LOL.
Lyz - I think the PS2 version of Top Gun has THE COOLEST music every. The soundtrack is all instrumental guitar stuff...I don't know who it's played by, though. I loved the style, but I didn't recognize it as anyone famous.

Zachary-Cool man, I have an Ibanez Jem floral.it has the original Edge...I'll have to measure the trem cavity..get back to you on that.
I am really looking forward to jamming, probably next saturday, well see.I moved a lot closer to Graham, so I'll hopefully be jamming more.Do you have powertab? If not, we could exchange ideas and stuff with that program, and that would also help fill you in on the covers and stuff we have been working on.If you don't have it, you can get it through the links section at www.powertabs.net
all you need is Winzip to unzip the file, and then Graham can send you all the tabs we have been working on.lotta Dream Theater, some Zappa, and of course Satch. :D
of course we jam on original stuff too...still trying to get better at that, hehe.

I'm sorry for sounding like an advertisement, but...
A lot of cool CDs have come out over the past few weeks (or will come out this Tuesday 11/18). The following ones have been mentioned here on T2J:
Robert Plant - 66 To Timbuktu
Dream Theater - Train Of Thought
Joe Satriani - Anthology
Joe Satriani - The Satch Tapes
Steve Vai - Anthology
Steve Vai - Live In Astoria London
I just placed an order at CD Universe for all of the above items. Every single one of them is cheaper at CD Universe than at Amazon. A few examples: Joe's anthology is $13.99 at CD Universe but $22.99 at Amazon. Steve's anthology is $13.99 at CD Universe but $24.98 at Amazon.
I'm a poor college student, and these extra dollars here and there really add up. I thought I'd pass this info along to everyone in the interest of saving money.
Also, the Dave Matthews Band is releasing a CD and DVD of The Central Park Concert (their 9/24/03 New York gig) this Tuesday (11/18). Warren Haynes jams with them on two songs. I think either (or both) of these items would be a great first purchase for someone who isn't familiar with this band's music. Also, if you preorder either the CD or DVD at the Music Today store through the link at http://www.dmband.com/ before this Friday at noon (Eastern time), you'll receive a bonus live disc.
I'm sorry for the long post, but I'm sure someone somewhere will find this information useful. :-)

Hey All ! Haven't had a chance to catch up with all the posts but I have a question DCK and others have recommended 'Sects, Drugs and Rock n Roll' DVD by Steve Morse. The question is over here in the UK (Region 2) there is a DVD (released August 2003) called 'Cruise Control' is that the same release ? Looks like it from what I've seen.

Hello Joe and everybody else! Your performance last year in July, in Nuremberg (Germany) was the highlight of the year. That was the best live show I've ever seen. I'd like to know whether you're planning to come this or next year to Germany (Nuremberg or some other place) again. Me and thousands of your fans here in Nuremberg are expecting you unpatiently!
