what is up with sponge bob? I hate that cartoon with a passion! it is so stupid and teens and adults watch it, there are better things in life. The only cartoons that I like are the classics like Bugs Bunny and Road Runner and all that good stuff. I don't watch them anymore though.

The Prez - I have the book that I mentioned, lots of picture with them and of them on stage (one is really cool, it's a picture of Kirk where the lights hit him really cool, and behind him is a huge screen with James singing, it looks almost like a ghost picture!), tons of Metclub merchandise, and two guitar picks. One of them Kirk gave to me after we talked about Satch and guitars. The other one was thrown after the concert...but it didnt make it past the front bars. So a bunch of people kept saying to the security guard "Hey man give it to me man come on I don't have it!". Of course, being the cute girl I am, stepped in, held out my hand, and said, "Can I have it please?" and got it, lol! Two seconds later someone offered me $50. But I would never sell anything Metallica that I own, same as anything Satch that I own! Sorry =/.

Dexter rocks!! lol!

Lyz, NEVER sell!! I would never sell any of my music memorabilia either. I would give it away if I felt compelled and I knew the person would appreciate it as much as I did and NOT turn and sell it for profit - but I would never sell my stuff. Especially Satch or Metallica stuff!! Nooooo! (not that I have any cool Metallica stuff, but if I did...) lol!

Hey all in Satchland...psyched about the dvd and anthology..got to get to the Best Buy in the am.

Anyone ever use Behringer stuff... i had a V-Amp for a while and now i just ordered the gx212 with effects and the foot peddle also..hope it rocks the house another thing for the kids to tell me to turn it down.... ;-0

thanx for the shout out Steevlan1, i have my Electra in the case and i am resarching opptions for sealing since it has a light stain with minimal urathane i think a few more coats of clear urathane will do it.

Me and the axeaman are not playing but for a jam every couple of weeks and his band is in need of a drummer...i will email you if it is ok and let you know when we are jammin.

ps. Strongbad for G3!!!

Greg M - That math joke I don't quite get. I tried to look at it as OCT = 8 and DEC = 10. So I then went (8 * 31 = 10 * 25)

Now that's 248 = 250. Not quite but close.

What is the answer then? This is all off the top of my head. I hope i'm close.

Whew, Im glad the DVD is coming out later...Im gonna be too broke to get it any earlier, and I would hate to walk by it everyday at the store.

Go to http://www.santana.com/frameset.html (sorry, I'm link impaired) and check out Santana's discography. Click on Black Magic Woman/Gypsy Queen in the first column and crank up your speakers. Man!! I loved that song when I was a kid and I still love it. His guitar is so sweet in that tune. I'm not a huge Santana fan, but I do love that song. Hell yeah!

Man, Edward Van Halen on G3 would be the guitar moment of the decade! I wonder if he would be at the bottom of the bill though? Anyhow, it would be great to hear some stuff in the vein of VH when they did the Twister soundtrack.

Joe - the G3 show in Atlanta was off the chain! 20 years worth of wait was worth every minute. The bonus of a dream come true was getting to talk to you on the phone during your interview with my wife (Kim Jones from about.com). Can't wait for the DVD to come out and I hope to be able to catch you again real soon. BTW - hearing the SpongeBob boxer story was a hoot and after talking to Vai during his interview with Kim, I see lots of SpongeBob-type entertainment in your future! For anyone interested, my band, Road to Revelation, just released our first CD. Sound clips can be heard at Road to Revelation's Site
