Well, here's the time where I finally gather up the strength and ambition and post a message.. (finally, after being an avid reader for quite some time.. ;)
Couldn't hold out any longer and my luck's been down for the last few days, so I went out and picked up The Anthology today and - Yay! It's good stuff.
..Joe - thanks for the notes with each track. I enjoyed reading what you had to say about each song. (Honestly, it perked my crummy day right up! And probably concerned my surrounding drivers during pre-rush hour traffic)

Stu Clone - No, I saw D# dominant 11. "D add sharp 11" or whatever would be written as D(#11). :D I'm such a cocky git sometimes... lol

Greg M - I've got Steve Vai's 'Alive in an Ultra World' record. It's good, and I can kind of let him off, seing as it was such an insane project...

Matt Martinez: Right on man, I think Engines is represented nicely with the tracks on "Electric Anthology" Love that song "Clouds Race Across the Sky" amazing piece of music.

Tapper5: Hey bro!

Someone mentioned "Love Thing" as being a song they really liked. I swear that is one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard. I think Joe captured the feeling perfectly. He's got a nack for doing that...

I love seeing everyone's favorites! It would be way to long for me to write down now what mine are, but I think the red album is definately my FAVORITE of his albums, followed by SBM and FIABD... sometimes I really wish that Joe would record more vocal songs... they are always so much fun or incredibly touching.... but the self titled is definately my favorite all around album...

Slow and easy is good, in a weird way, probably Joe's most unique and relaxing song. BEst song off the Extremist is a tie with Rubina's Blue Sky happiness and Friends, both very well written songs. What does everyone think of RS's 100 top guitarists? I never look at those list, I just make my own. I'm in the process of making a video about Satch, It'll be a funny one and I'll post it when Im done. Any Walter Trout fans? My dad went to see the show, I was unable to go, man that made me mad! I'm also waiting for another Gary Moore tour. Still got the blues is a good album. Has anyone got the Steve Vai anthology? Is that a greatest hits type of thing? WHat's on it? In a way I'm glad Satch isn't popular. Metallica went down because of it, I wish they weren't popular, then they might not feel pressured and actually come out with something decent.. Why isn't Satch popular, I think it's because he's instrumental and complex. When you hear fm radio just after listining to satch, it sounds fuzzy, Joe sounds a lot more crisp. I have the Time Machine poster, and I'm also getting the Extremist. I higly suggest "real" collecters of Satch go to ebay, you probably could get the mothership there. FOr future movie soundtracks, . That would be awesome if he did another big movie again. There are future projects out that he would be good in. (Super Hero Movies, SPy Movies, etc) Those would be the best for him I think, a action type movie. If anyone has any suggestions on what he should you post it here. Vai has done some, I hope he would do some more. Lizard down the throat, I heard about this weird bending technique, you bend the strring, but without changing pitch? Supposity, it makes a lizard down the throat type sound. I'm stuck on how to get this sound. Is it when you stick your finger on fret 1 of any string, and slide up to 12 while steadily pushing your bar down, and try and stay at the same pitch In Crystal Planet, my favorite is a tie with With Jupiter in Mind/Time. Now what's the easiest Satch song to play? I would say ZZ's SOng, but I will have to go with Satch Boogie!

Most of these change constantly, but here are my favorites right now (limited to one song per album):

EP - Talk To Me
NOTE - Driving At Night
SWTA - Circles
D#11 - Memories
FIABD - I Believe
TE - Why
TM1 - Time Machine
TM2 - Echo
JS - Luminous Flesh Giants
G3 - Summer Song
CP - CP
EOC - Champagne?
AC - Until We Say Goodbye
LISF1 - The Crush Of Love
LISF2 - Rubina
SBM - The Traveler
TEJSAA - Slick

Yeah, I know I cheated with the live albums...but oh well.

Does anyone like the techno mix (from Additional Creations) of Until We Say Goodbye more than the regular mix (from EOC)? I do.

Ethn Hayabusa - Ya know, you're right about that. I think I remember someone else telling me about JP again as well. Thanks for the correction, and I retract my statement. ;-)

I'd love to see Steve Morse as a G3er. More than anyone, though, I want to see Eddie Van Halen as a G3er just because I sadly think it'll be the only way he'll get to tour again in the semi-near future.

crazy potato head - Welcome to the site. Tell us a little more about yourself...list your favorite Satch songs, and so on.
infractus - Welcome to the site as well. Tell us about yourself, etc...
engines of dreams - If Amazon hasn't shipped your CD, cancel the order and have your mom buy you a copy.
The Prez - Steve's anthology is similar to Joe's. The songs were selected by the fans.

...Austin...
