phrydom An old P3 866 with 256MB of RAM? That doesn't sound too old to me!

Wehey everyone, I'm posting from home again! It feels good to be back here (although I've been turned into an email freak writing to all my uni friends!)

Infractious I know that's a bad spelling, but I use the Bad Horsie Wah Wah for that part in the song. I can let you know the countor wah settings if your interested.

Do the Stu, what do you go to collee for?

One thing i liked about the cry baby was that it had the on/off switch under the pedal its self - the Bad Horsie's switch was beside it right?

PhryDom No thanks man, I want to go through alot of wahs, I wanna make sure its the right one for moi! :) thanks anyway dude!

Anyone still on the look out for a GT6, email me guys - such a deal for ya :) would be nice for someone for christmas :) play nice ;)

JS JS that's quite a depressing post you have there! Cheer up cuz if the end of the world is coming, you can't stop it. I've learned not to worry about the things I can't control. Don't try to be a good person just because God told you that he'd throw you in hell if you weren't. Be a good person because it's the right thing to do. If you're only doing it for your own personal gain (heaven), why would God feel the need to reward you - your actions are only selfish? Makes a pretty interesting logic loop doesn't it? Now that your head is spinning go out and do something good because it makes you feel good! ~sharif

beezer, the bad horsie is switchless. it's spring-loaded, so, when you step on it, it turns on, and when you step off it, it returns.

I'm listening to EJ / The Electromagnets now. Man...Dry Ice is awesome...I forgot how much I love that song. If you don't have the album, you can buy it for about $9 at CD Universe.

Dave Matthews started his solo tour last night, and his band (including guys like Tim Reynolds and Trey Anastasio) did a cover of Dream Theater's Solitary Shell! No, I'm kidding...but they did do Peter Gabriel's Solsbury Hill. :-)

You can hear it here. It's fairly simple, but check it out because it's still pretty cool.

If anyone wants to hear a Mars Volta bootleg, check out Sharing The Groove. There's a Bit Torrent going now...my download should finish by midnight, but I'll leave my window open overnight.

kell - That should be "My spelling and GRAMMAR sucks today."...hehe. ;-)

JS JS - You're right, Joe doesn't care about the Grammy Awards. They're kinda similar to the Rolling Stones polls that have been mentioned here in that every now and then someone wins who should never have been nominated. Things like that just make the awards lose all credibility.

I think most award shows (yes SHOWS, not ceremonies...hehe) are pathetic. They basically tell people: "Here, go see this movie/watch this television show/buy this CD because we're telling you it's the best."... I'm depressed by the fact that some people need to be told what to like.

FLAROCKS - Joe will have a custom Peavey amp available in 2004. Ibanez will be releasing a red JS1200 guitar in 2004, but we don't know anything about it.
Narface - What fan site? Are you too embarrassed to share your hobbies with us? ;-)
The Prez - I'm a journalism major.
Greg M - Dream Theater's website works fine for me.

Happy 1k...I thought michelle was going to beat you to it.

Mr Nick - You didn't get anything for being the first to 1k because it wasn't a race. ;-)
Ya Yo Gakk - LOL...I love the octave / October part the most.

Sorry about the muiltiple posts

BeeZer Hey, get a Bad Horsie 2 Wah Wah, a little more money that the Bad Horsie, but 2 has countor wah, you can get a ton of sounds, I higly suggest it! BTW what's up with your GT2, what is it, I may be interested.

Do The Stu[/b http://music.barnesandnoble.com/search/product.asp?sourceid=00398880838058222879&ean=74646492727&bfdate=12-13-2003+20:43:03&bfinfo=m-74646492727

That may of been where Satch got his nickname. What are your plans after college? I'm going for Computer Graphics, maybe I'll spend the rest of my life pasting heads on other people. BTW if you have any ideas let me know, I haven't done one of Stu just because I can't think of anything good to put him on.

mischievous: HAHA!! Awesome man, that was excellently written!!.... As I read it, my voice changed from mine to that guy on the David Letterman show (forget his name), lol, hehe, I'm gonna pre-order mine now!! ;-)

OCPS470: Thank's for the info on your recording setup!!.... I use an old HP Pavilion that I was thinking about modifying someday, and I like the way you set yours up, and if you can record drums like that and not have to screw around getting them to sound right, then that's worth it right there!!.... Beat's playing around with Fruity Loop's, although that works also, for the simple guy like me lol.... Your whole setup costs a fraction of Pro Tools, and I'm sure if PT is like any other MAC operating system, to upgrade you have to basically get a new computer cause the old system wont be capable of handling it.... That's how MAC makes money, their new products never compliment the older operating systems.... So that's how your stuff sounds so professional!!.... Kudos man!!

brotherpitt4ever: Welcome to the Land of Blue Dreams friend!!

One With The Computer: Glad you feeling better bro, and your right man (about time slowing down when your sick), I guess cause it's the only time you get a break from the daily grind, lol, and Satchitussin is priceless!! ;-)

Do The Stu: lol, a simple painting that leaves the mind wondering and pondering, hehe, but I do think the Title matches it perfectly, lol ;-)

FLAROCKS: Welcome to SatchLand, lol!!....

Greg M: WOW, you came outta nowhere with that 1,000th post!!.... Too much time on our hands is us, lol, I just make it a point to check at free times of the day cause I dont like to play catch-up or is that katsup, lol.... Congrats!!.... A prize??.... ;-)

Edit:.... BONGHITS II: A little TMI there, eh??

The Prez: LMAO, btw, is I'm crazy 'bout my baby (And my baby's crazy 'bout me) SATCH's AWMAWY?? lol, haha!! ;-)

/\/\||<E hahaha... hey i am a MAC guy.. you dont really need a new comp to run pro tools, i mean they just released a version for osx and that has been out for a while(osx that is).. personally i use cubase sx and nuendo with a motu 828 mkii, it kills the digi 002. i even still do some of my editing on my old g3, most is on my g4 though both are kinda old but running panther(osx 10.3.2). so you dont really need to upgrade new comps just os's sorta like windows (does anything still run on windows 95?)....
