Hey everyone, Hey Joe..how is it goin? Joe i've been listening to some of the christmas songs Gary Hoey has been doing, and the one that got me the most was Greensleeves....and it made me think how cool it would be if you made a christmas album. just about my whole family knows who you are and cant believe how good you are, I along with probably a lot of other people would love it if you came out with a christmas album. just a thought, and have a great week!

yeah, it would just be a really cool thing to do, i know for a fact that you would have lots of people buy it, for some reason lots of people like to buy christmas music and joe i think it would open your music up to more people. you already have 1 song out there Silent Night, Holy Night. just like 9 or 10 more christmas songs and you would have 1 awsome christmas album!

Bob

ok everyone lets start a Joe Satriani Christmas Album poll to show Joe how cool it would be! Satch Christmas Album - 1

Here's a test. Everyone take a nice deep breath, then sing as loud as you can "I'M A LITTLE TEA POT, SHORT AND STOUT" and see what kind of reaction you get from the people around you.

Ahhh Plum, that's one of my favorite songs this time of year! I lost the link to the last one I had, which didn't include the lyrics - although they're so damn catchy you learn them pretty quick anyways. Thanks! lmao!!

"Don't bob for fries in hot vat it really hurts bad and so do skin grafts" LMAO hard!!!

Hey I was thinking they should bring Saddam back to ths USA and put him in the Washington DC national Zoo. They could put him in the cage with the chimps and let him fling his poo!!

death cube K - The link still doesn't work. I get a 403/forbidden message. Oh well.

The Buckethead link works, though. :-)

voodoo chile15 - Joe and Steve both use the Boss DS-1 distortion pedal...maybe you could try one of those. They use the older Made In Japan model, though. You should be able to find one of those on Ebay.
michelle - If I shouted that now I would be kicked out of my dorm for the rest of the semester for violating quiet hours during finals week, no questions asked. ;-) I whispered it for you, though.
j cocote - I don't think Ibanez will produce a seven-string JS.

...Austin...

woah woah woah .. mick87~

wah first, distortion in the middle. everything else after distortion. unless you have a whammy. then whammy first. and if you have, say, something like an acoustic sym or envelope filter .. that before distortion too. .. usually -

guitar -> harmonizers/pitchshifters (whammy, octave boxes) -> filters (wah, acoustic sims, envelope filters) -> distortion (stompboxes, preamp) -> time/phase effects (delay, chorus, flange) usually in the effects loop -> poweramp.

of course, experiment, but this is generally a good rule of thumb.

that's my post-for-the-month, lol.
