To hear Steve Vai talking about you and showing how he admires you, is totally amazing! How do I wish I could take some lessons with you!! You must be so proud of people like Steve and Kirk Hammet. Also I enjoyed a lot watching the recording sessions and the videos from "The Extremist" album. Listening to your music makes me feel up in the sky! Thank you again Joe, for the excellent moments you give us through your guitar and your soul!

anibur, it's on a satellite radio thang they pipe in there. The only time we get a break is when someone uses the intercom system. Then it shuts off for a few seconds. I was tempted to pick up the phone to page someone, but just put the phone down and walk away instead of talking over the loudspeaker. That would quiet it down, but security would eventually call my boss to check the phones and I'd get busted - plus you'd probably hear me laughing hysterically. Then everyone in the complex would find out it was me! lol!

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure is much better than Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. Both movies are still great, though. You can buy them for less than $10 at most big stores (Wal Mart, etc.). Pick 'em up...

Beezer: try these settings on the Deville, treble 5, mid4, bass 4-6 depending on the room, presence 6, bright switch off. This setup sounds great, and is especially good if you are running something like a ds1 or a tube screamer into the amp. Just set the volume so that it is as loud as you want without any breakup.

Hey joe; it is nice and exciting to talk to you...and i cant believe that i can ask you question...anyway my question is `i really want to know that..How do you get that "Wah tone" in the Love Thing? and what gear do you use for that song?especially for Wah...Of course you have big ROCK units and many more equipment...but i checked your gear list i have seen 4 types of wah...which one do you prefer?...can u please tell me joe? I can't believe it's been three years since the LISF gig. Time flies. I still remember waiting in line outside The Fillmore like it was yesterday. Man, those shows (12/28 and 12/29) were awesome. I think SWTA from 12/28 was the highlight of both nights. Joe was going crazy...it sounded great. I'd love to hear that one again.

Anyway, everyone should try to watch the DVD tonight. I feel bad admitting this, but I think it's been at least a year since I've watched the entire show. As I just said, though, I still remember it in my head as if it happened yesterday.

The Prez - I think it's interesting that Bill (Keanu Reeves) has been in several great movies, but Ted (Alex Winter) hasn't done much of anything other than B&T.

michelle: No, YOU rule the board girl!! ;-).... lol on Mr. Weiner being from Reading, hehe, we can now say that he put Reading on the map!!.... lol.... ;-) He seems like a kuul dude from watching the dvd, and he has a great sense of humor....

I'll have to watch it closer now to see if I can see the Grand Master Shredder up there on a stool, lol!!.... Sounds like you were pretty warmed up for the show, and I could picture that clerk at the store in distress mode, hehe.... And the crowd backing you up, lol, if they got a whammy then they deserve to be whammy'd, LMAO!!....
