phrydom...we had a look at chorus actually in the last lesson i had at the acm...and i've already forgotten...er...oops :/ dont know whether i need a chorus pedal or not..but since you're a decent man..ofering them at low low prices...i might take it now to save me money in the long run...just so i have that effect when i need it. same with the octave thingy as well..(except without the acm bit)

clarky..."driving Eastern European cars, being an Essex girl, putting up tacky Christmas lights"...lol..i can understand the eatern car rule..but not the other 2...lol

Michelle Those are great tips for drinking. I have my holiday office party tonight, I'll tape a handcuff key in my watchband. LOL! Where I work, most of us are Chemists, so we like mixing stuff, but in our stomachs!

Clarky, we say Red-ing and Berk-sheer. It used to be a good place to live, but now it's overrun with crime and violence and people with no 'brought-upsy'. That's a term our Jamaican friend uses that means that nobody taught them any manners or the proper way to behave. lol! The whole city isn't like that, but the inner city is. My sister has found bullet casings on her porch from gun fire, and my mom had a bullet go through her bedroom window, through the headboard of her bed, and lodge in the attic (3rd floor) ceiling. Thank God her or my stepdad weren't in bed at the time. Needless to say, they don't sleep in that room anymore. lol! There are parts of the city that are very beautiful though, and still many wonderful people live there, but it's not what it once was.

Mikey, my daughter would say "Mom, you're so gay!" and laugh and walk away. The word gay has replaced the word stupid around here with the kids. Now everything is gay. lmao!! Everything except...the guy with a hat! *feather optional* LOL!! Yes, bring me your doo-tah!! *she says as she rubs her hands together tightly* LOL!!

PhryDom, yankee in-laws?? Yee haw Bubba, looks like we got us a party! lol! j/k Where's your wife from?

Sharif, glad I could do that for ya! lol!

Hey Joe:

Just wanting to wish you and the guys in the band and all the Satrimaniacs a very merry Christmas and a peace- and love-filled New Year.

I got my Christmas gift early this year when G3 came to NYC and played at the Beacon Theatre in November. I was at the Tuesday show and it was fabulous. Many thanks and all props to you and Steve and Yngwie, but your set was a killer that night. If I would have handed you a list of my favorite songs of yours before the show I could not have been happier or more blown away by your performance.

So I hope you have a great holiday and I'm really looking forward to your next stop in NYC, so don't be a stranger.

Merry Christmas!

Adrianorb, just remember rule #1 - If you are a woman, remember: Women are more sensitive to the effects of alcohol. If you are a man, remember: Women are more sensitive to the effects of alcohol. LMAO!!! Have a great time, but don't get behind the wheel, or let someone who's had to much to drink drive home. Stay safe!

Alexandre: Thanks for the congrats! We should definitely meet up next year! I'll be in Spain for almost 4 months, so I'm going to be taking at least 2 weekend side trips...probably to Italy and Portugal! Um grande abraco, amigo!
michelle: Hell yeah! Group X is funny as hell. Mario Twins is probaly my fav.
R6R: That medical one is my friend's fav word to pronounce...I think it's just because he's proud he can remember that many syllables without fainting ;)
On another note, has anyone ever had a 2 day stretch when they come home to visit their family and suddenly every ex girlfriend they had at home wants to get together? I've had 3 ex's and one old female friend who always wanted to date me try to set up times to chill between yesterday and the day before...just thought it was weird.

nick try this... clean then with the chorus... no other FX used...

michelle we pronounce all our shires as "sherr" kinda link rhyming with the second syllable of lecture.... the outlaws... mom-i-l is from (how she says" scahnsun, I guess that's WI to you... and b-i-l J is from good ole Atlanta... head office (she thinks lol) is from Columbus OH.... weird how you guys seem to state the state after the city/town! we don't (probably cos we're so small lol)

shouting tastey yes it is... and if you visit too late you'll have to spend the night there cos the tide rises above the road... it's a very cool very chilled and very soul-refreshing place

Whats the craic Joe?! Paul Gallagher from Ireland here( No relation to the guy that plays guitar in that band Oasis but from the same county as that blues wizard Rory!! and may he rest in peace.) I,ve only started listening to your music in the past month but what ive heard has inspired me to achieve another level in my own playing. I've only got the live at San Fran dvd but its so brilliant even my grilfriend watches it! My favourite tune is the beatiful "Love Thing" I've almost got it all learned which it amazing for a mortal like me! Anyway, thanks for your amazing music and please tell me you will be coming to Ireland to play because im a student and can't afford to fly to the states to see you!! All the best Joe, Paul Gallagher P.S. How much are you charging for lessons these days? Kirt and steve tell me the price is very reasonable!! Ha, Ha!

phrydom....thanks for that...still not sure...as i need clean and dist pedals first...the basic fx really...but as i said...you're selling yours cheaper than what i would get for new...so kinda silly not to go for it..and get something that can be useful later on....i'm tempted to get it

Joe had a student named Kirt??? and he's still teaching??? Are ya Joe??? seriously... good to know you're onboard, Meany Guts... I understand that Joe's own (maybe G3 too, but that tour's over) tours usually hit Ireland, and he has a new album coming out in the new year... maybe we'll both (and your mrs too!) get to see him :-)

Hey Joe I was reading a(nother lol) interview with you and you were saying something about (I think) Devill's Slide being octave city when you recorded it..... playing octaves, the OU, two whammys, etc... I was wondering... what kind of gear do you have in the studio that doesn't make it to the road? Maybe our wondrous webmaster could do a new gear section? <Jon I understand fatherdom is a busy thing, so no worries if you're up to your knees / elbows / eyeballs in things you'd rather not talk about!!!!>

Cheers all... enjoy your weekend, Dave
