HOORAY! i finally got my JS series guitar yesterday after waiting over a year and a half to get one. it's a new 2003 JS100 but the body is a little thinner than the other 2 at the guitar store, and it reminded me more of the 1000 so i bought that one, its gonna be kinda sad for a few days because for my senior project i am going to paint it a dark metallic blue and put the PAF PRO and FRED pickups in it, i want to paint the headstock but i cant find the Ibanez decal along with the JS series decal to put back on it...so it will have to stay black for now. that guitar is so sweet!! i highly recommend that you go out and pick one up today at your local guitar store! lol. ok i'm off to go build up my calluses again so i can play it more than 10 minutes at a time!
Bob
oh, and if anyone has painted a guitar before, i could really use your advice on setting it up right and getting it to look right...thanks

michelle Tigerchild doesn't really have the same ring to it, does it? lol I often use allabouteve as my other nickname, but it's kinda impersonal. I never used to have a "real" nickname growing up, it's kinda hard to figure something out for Eva, it's already short and handy lol.
G3 to Europe? Cool! I do hope it's gonna make it, and if it does, don't forget Sweden! We're craving for ya'...
We've got snow and cold in Stockholm, around 15-20F if I convert it correctly. Just cold enough to make it feel like it's really winter. No polar bears yet though, they usually start hangin' around when the temp's going down. ;) But there are still dangers around here, last year a 14-year old boy was actually killed by an icicle falling down from a roof above him, in the middle of a busy shopping street. Horrible. :( Better walk in the middle of the road to stay safe...

hey joe and guys
i'm pretty irregular on this site nowadays, but i still read most of what goes on, and always check the news each day (you could ask why i didn't post about joe's latest post earlier, and i'd tell you cause i couldn't be bothered right then).
Anyway, good to see the oldies like do the stu- *the* most dedicated satchternet fan as long as i've been here.
All the news sounds great Joe - can't wait to hear all the new releases when they come England's way!

Hi Joe. First of all, I would like to wish you and your family a very happy New Year. I have been a huge fan of your music for several years. Are you planning to come to Australia again soon? I recently bought your 'Live in San Francisco' DVD and was absolutely blown away by it. I play the guitar myself and have written and published an instruction book which is available in music shops, book stores and Public Libraries throughout Australia. I have also managed to sell a few copies to America, Canada, New Zealand and the U.K. I am in the final stages of writing a second book which I will be publishing this year. I have also written and recorded three instrumental songs which have been played on a local community radio station here. I was interviewed about my guitar book on the station last August. Again, all the best for 2004 and I look forward to hearing your next album.....Regards, Catherine Chadwick.
