Ahh, a bunch of party poopin' Pats fans! What have we all learned tonight? Paul Gilbert has 3 hands and his cat wears a foil helmet, the Eagles and Anuj suck, YaYo is a year older, and obviously, again, the Eagles still suck. lol!

Narface, glad to see you made it here safely :)

Hey Joe... The new JS1200 looks cool... the PAF Joe pickup, what is the difference from that and the PAF Pro? sound and tone wise?

Is that Red Chameleon paint on there??

Hey everyone, hey Joe! A big "how'sitgoin'?" to those welcomes from my extended time away.

Ahh, fussball. Always good fun.

Jelly Man: when you play Minesweeper at the speed I do, the two-button method is irrelevant. In fact, the right button is almost unused.

Home schooling...don't dis' it. I used to be against it but I've met people who have been through it and make an awesome impact on the world around them. It all comes down to the parents themselves, as to whether they succeed in raising their children themselves or with the aid of a school system.

Home schooling doesn't always mean having the kids at home all day never knowing anything outside the house. Talk to someone who actually had it properly.

Man, The EP7 is beautiful. The new 1200 looks great. My JS100 looks identical to it, minus the red headstock and Edge trem.

Not-quite-shameless plug:

Friday night was the album launch for Screammedia's "Breathe". I have to say, it's the best independent CD I've ever heard. They have a website up, but unfortunately there are no sound clips on it. I'll try to convince them to put some up for the benefit of those who can't check them out otherwise. (They aren't fans of downloading music.)

The style is melodic rock, major influences being Deftones, Sevendust, Filter etc. They put many hours into this recording and it does actually sound good. (As opposed to okay.) I recommend this CD to anyone interested in this genre before you've even heard it. For the rest of you I'll try to get some samples and then I'll recommend everyone have a listen. Not quite Satriani music, but I know a lot of people here listen to other stuff!

End-of-shame

Hey Joe...

Did you just play @ the NAMM show with Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, & Joe Bonamassa? I've heard this rumor but can't find any info out in cyberspace to support it.

If you did, what'd you think of Joe B? A possible G???

Narface: Roger that man, T2J is here 24/7 so people can help each other out ;-)....

Artanis I: lol brotha, I have only had weird experiences with people whom I knew that had their kids home schooled, lol.... A guy I used to work with told me how he did home schooling for his child and he explained one instance of how he did it: One day Father and son were watching young kids out on the street after 7:00pm fooling around on a scooter and making noise.... He said he watched them with his son from the window and they spent the next day explaining why that was wrong and blah blah blah.... Now this guy was very religious (I'm not saying that is bad at all!!) and I believe it had an effect on his teachings.... I guess it is a case by case scenero and it works the same way for kids in regular school.... I'm sure alot of them are far more advanced, but I'm willing to believe that they have a hard time getting along with their peers.... Reminds me alot of Kwai Chang Kane from the Kung Fu Series, I wanted to be like him when I was growing up, lol.... That's the way to go, raised at the Shaolin Temple!! ;-)

JOE: I heard NAMM was a resounding success for you, and the Peavey gig was the highlight for alot of people!! The new JS looks KILLA too.... Congrats!!....

Sudden thought. I've now been on as a member of the satriani.com for one week. Outstanding.
I notice that we still have some radio silence within the area. We must continue to communicate if we wish to stay alive.

962 - dude.. I'll have a word with my budz in Ams and find out the date...

tastey - me?? a riot??.. lol.. I've been in a few... even sure I started a few... lol....

you see.. you have to be careful about what you wish for... or at least use the correct and exacting terminology that is definately not open to mis-interpretation... lol...

Yoda - please tell me that DT were crap... please do... lol
do the stu - so what does... being done up the hoop... means in North America....?? lol??

I can only assume it means the lady's front bottom.. lmao..

fanny in the UK is a lady's front bottom..

but to be done up the fanny and the hoop simulatiously either requires two guys.. or one guy with additional inorganic utensils... lol

Silmarien - my dictionary says "Fanny: slang for minge. And if you have to look up minge it'll say slang for fanny so don't bother"..

The Consice Clarky Dictionary should be taught at school... lol

ovation - I've been listening to nothing but my own demo of late.. shit... I was good back then... lol... I'll have to find someone really good to play all this stuff for me 'cos I'll never be able to do it myself.. lmao..

The Raft: the backing track is complete... all three rhythm guitars are bounced and cleaned up... I've also sorted out the parts of the orchestra that play back live during mix-down [extra brass, strings, choir].. sounds pretty big.. the part that has really come out better than expected is the 2nd movement before the bass and drum kick in where it is just lead guitar and orchestra... sounds very very pretty... I messed with the dynamics of that section so that it 'grows' towards the big riff... so... marks out of 10 for 'what's been done so far'... loads.... I'm well pleased...

next stop.. wrath with Wrath.. lol.. she is so going to need the helicopter ambulance to take her away when I'm done with her... lol

Clarky - Hey, we haven't met yet. I see you've been on this site for quite some time now. How is it going?
In general (may refer to americans more though), anyone seen the Soprano series? Absolutely great, think of Goodfellas without all that crap about drugs at the end. Amazing, definately recommend it.
