hey guys,

I kinda wish they had just gotten me rid of my truck so I can move on, but hey life goes on

So I pretty much got everything reported & have to wait it out now, only one thing is wrong I have one credit card I havent been able to report stolen yet, I called them & the only people who would anwser the phone is collections & they told me I had to file a report with customer service, but my call wouldn't get through cause of the bad weather on the east coast, so I was like WTF? I mean they couldn't post anything on my account they just told me to call back tommorow........ BLAH!

but there are alot of things to be thankfull for..

anyways I just got tix (spent alot of money right before I got robbed) to see the Mars volta & a perfect circle, & to see the one & only wayne shorter, & for my coming up b-day I am going to see the living drum legend that is billy cobham.....

if the insurance company moves fast & I can get situated hopefully I will have my truck & some moneu to go see Joe with experience & CO..

happy tuesday peeps.... the megamAn

There must 3 generations of karat-ay mastås there, haha! And indeed... Mr. Zappa had quite the imagination... shame he left so early.

MegaBoyd - Man... sorry to hear about you truck. Hope everything works out in the end.

Peter Mulas - hey man... what have you been up to lately? Shreddin' up the local studios or doing the college thing?

PREZ, Dude, I feel your pain. I have people tell me that the idiots from KORN are 10 times better than Joe!!!! Can U imagine?! I thought it was awsome that on the Metallica tribute show MTV did, the song they performed, they skipped the solo!!! hahahahahahaha Joe is GOD!

JS JP 41 id definitely go with Flying In A Blue Dream... it has it all.... deep bass, awesome chords, great leads, lots of emotion, it has a little bit of everything and everyone who i've played it for has said nothing but good things...

thefireman- yeah, they say steve vai is a wanker and dresses in spandex and wears pink... korn rocks etc but they shut the fuck up real fast when it's pointed out that korn plays steve's guitars, and korn worships steve... it just points to the fact that they dont follow korn, they follow MTV and like korn because they are on tv/radio, they dont like them for any personal reason...they know nothing about the bad or who the band likes... they skipped the solo cause they cant hang.... korn is the band that has gone the farthest with 3 notes....gotta hand it to em'

Ya Yo, U summed it up perfectly. I like Korn too, alot. Kick-ass tunes and great bass & drums. I just wish these kids would appreciate Joe/Steve/Hoey/Moore/EVH/Rhodes and the like for what they are........ Composers and incredible guitar players. I do like much of the music that is out there today, but when it comes to true talent, there just isn't much available. But I'm sure they were saying the smae about my taste in music back in the mid 80's. Metallica, Priest, Maiden, Ozzy ect............

Have a good one!!!

Hey all, hi Joe! I've gotta say, they're (Deftones are) one of the few bands these days that play original stuff in the full sense of the word.

s1220: I'll tell you what I reckon when I get a good listen to it! Unfortunately I'm not at the stage where I can just buy a CD before I know I like it, considering I'm still behind in the stuff I really want to buy but don't have the money for.

Okay, so it's all been happening. Long weekend (Australia Day) with music festival, yes I do have bruised ribs from being up against the barrier, but it's better than getting pushed around and stomped on anywhere else in the mosh pit. Don't even need shoes if you're right up the front. Plus the bands can see you, and the sound is better at the front than inside the pit.

Got my drum kit in my car for the next week or so, carting here and there every day. It's all part of the joys of entertaining children in the summer holidays. Or entertaining adults during the summer months.

Mick: I've noticed for a while you've been spelling "truly" incorrectly. Pity for you, eh?

Janice here's my opinion, throw it out if you want: "breaks" are always a bad plan, unless you want to break up. Sometimes you can overdo things, but the "I need space" thing doesn't mean you should have a break. Just slow down a bit. The only time I reckon a break does any good is when it's unintentional and goes for a few years. And I mean total loss of contact. (At the time you don't recognise it as a break of course.) Again, I'm not the most intelligent person so what I say isn't necessarily perfect truth.

The "triple post" bit was the "perfectly pointless" bit. Successful attempt or not, a triple post is pointless anyway.

Technically it did work, because I got three posts in a row, but I didn't get the triple identical post I was going for.

Good one for guitarists......if you had these effects....Vox Wah....Boss DS-1.....Fulltone Ultimate Octave.....Digitech Whammy......Boss DD-5......Ibanez Turbo Tube Screamer.....how would you personally set them up all together? I have'nt intergrated the TS9 into the mix yet but I think it would give the DS-1 a nice boost for soloing....any ideas?

Hi Joe !!!
