stu -she's a babe... I should know 'cos I'm a babe-tician.. lol..

tastey - hmmm.. a babe munching on salad... do you have any video evidence.. lmao..
962 - the reason I thought that I'd most likely get whacked with a 7.62mm round is purely based upon the fact that it is common and therefore widely available.. I mean like we all have them yeah?? lol

.50 high velocity sniper rounds are kinda specialist stuff..

mick87 - personally I see myself as a veggie because I don't eat carnivores.. I don't eat lion, crocs, tiger, T-Rex, bears, velociraptor... etc..
mikesb - dude... take a lil' look at this.... http://www.pfmpfm.it/
pitch no8 - thanx dude.. I found the site.. saved as a fave... when I get a spare mo I'll go surf...
dragon - Live and Let Die by G & R.. they trashed a great song..
ovation - haha... you misunderstand... the AW and Cubase are already talking.. I cracked that sometime ago.. so if I hit play on the AW, Cubase plays along and synch's up via MIDI Time Code [MTC].. what I'm trying to do is the next level of coolness.. beyond transmitting synch, stop, play, record, position messages etc.. this new level is to get Cubase to control the mix-down that I've programmed in real time... this is where the MIDI stuff gets a bit more nitty gritty thant what I've been doing so far...

the thing with JP is that a lot of folks ask the obvious... who's better??.. a personal thing of course... for me it's Vai.. Tender Surrender, For the Love... those tracks are pretty long.. full of high technique stuff.. passionate and for me at least... totally captivating from start to finish... and that's something that JP don't do for me.. JP, in general, just impresses the shit out of me as to what can be done and how well it can be done... then he starts to leave me feeling a little cold..

went into the lab last night to start on the solo for the Raft... I figure.. "before I commit myself.. let's mess with my lead tone a little first.. try and improve things a little.. etc.." and yes.. I found a tone that I really like.. sounds great and feels really nice.. in addition.. I grabbed for the allen wrenches and messed with Wrath.. string height, re-centering the neutral floating position, pick-up height etc... just general messing... 'cos since I had the LoPro fitted we ain't exactly been friends... Given that Wrath is the 'work horse' of the harem.. we needed to fall back in love... so I gave her a good tweaking..lol.. armed with my new cool lead tone and some tools I started messing.. things started to improve.. greatly.. then I ended up playing just for the fnu of it.. no backing track... just me and Wrath... played bits of Satch, EVH, DT, my IUMA shit, Vai, and lots of mindless tearing up... feeling very nicely warmed up and fired up.. all ready to go.. deeply back in love with Wrath.. I figured that it'd be time to start cutting solos on the Raft.... then realised that it was 2:30 in the morning... 4 1/2 hours of solid tearing up... don't time just fly...lol... I guess that it was good for me though.. nice to let your hair down from time to time and just make a load of noise... lol..

Stu Clone - jeez... having George Micheal in here must be a bad oman... what with him being an "up-hill gardener" too... lmao...
sammy - a smart nut???.. lmao.. what do they taste like??..

"I'll have a pint of lager and a packet of dry roasted smart nuts please..".. lmao..

climber - hhmmm... I'll have to work that out... I'm a metric guy... I know that I could be very wrong here... but isn't 3/32 something like 3 to 4mm??.. if so that could well be a little on the close side... do you have problems with sustain??
michelle - oh please let me answer that.... lmao..
r6r - I know of a UK band called regenesis.. they play all the old stuff and are fantastic... not the stage shows though... but the music is awesome....

Mikey, I finally got a chance to watch the video of Joe at the NAMM show. ha! My face hurts from smiling so hard. LOL! Jesus, I love that guy! lol! I sent the link to my husband at work so he can show the guys some Satch :) Ahhh, nothing puts me in a great mood like a Satch video :) LOL!! Thanks for linking it here!

YaYo, lol! uno pesos main ;-) Don't spend it all in one place. lol!

Paul, it really sucks that they keep pushing Steve's DVD back for you guys. It's really a great DVD too. It'll be worth the wait. It's a damn shame things aren't released all over the world at the same time :(

Stacy, very cool! So glad it went well for you. That's pretty cheap too. The only woman I ever went to was $30.00 for 15 minutes, but I desperately needed the info. She nailed everything perfectly too - and what I didn't understand came true like a year later. Amazing really. As for a reading with her - I would love to call her, but Maine?? lmao! That's a bit far. lol! I would give my left nut (it's just a technicality) to get a reading from John Edward, James VanPraagh, or Sylvia Browne. I love that stuff! Gotta be very careful not to be a reading junky though. As exciting as it is, you shouldn't do it often.

Happy hump day people!!

Hi Joe - When you are writing music, do you hear it in your mind first, and then play it? Or do you just play and then develop ideas that "pop" up? Can you hear music in your mind and then write it on paper without picking up an instrument? If so, how did you develop that? Thanks, Mo

tastey - lmao... seen the brain pic... lol... all it needs is a few guitars and a large bucket of lager and it'll be complete... lol...

michelle / tastey - reading??? like as in someone seeing your future?? like "girlie.. you will have a week of days.. and if your name is Zapata, change it.. it's stupid" sort of reading???

sorry... but I know pretty well how this stuff works....

I wouldn't go near any of those guys... it's a clever and serious rip off.. and earning $120 per hour??? wow... I need to re-train...

Wraths bridge... I wasn't sure if I had an Edge or a LoPro Edge.. one of you guys pointed me at the Ibanez Rules webs site [cant recall who cos I'm stupid]... thanx dude...

after examining the bridge armed with all of the information I needed to spot the difference [like.. all one bit of info].. I've found that Wrath is now wearing a LoPro.. and after my recent tinkerings... it's a LoPro that works....

My only remaining issues with the LoPro are..

1 - you can't lock the arm... only get it a little tight... sux a little but I'm getting used to it...

2 - it's too easy to use... I like a little resistance.. so I may switch from 3 'in-line' mounted springs to 3 'crows foot' mounted springs to increase the tension.. so that when I dive-bomb the strings from concert pitch to flappy and gettng caught in me sneakers... I'll be able to do it to a greater resolution.. lol..

tastey - from what I know if these guys... they have a great way of gleaning information out of people and mentally processing it very quickly ... which is why they appear to know so much about you.. they mix this with a healthy dose of a great insight into human nature and boom... they're teling you stuff about you that is just spooky...

I'll never try to put down your experience or mess with your beliefs... but Ive seen the 'behind the sense' part of this stuff.. and despite the appearences of good honest spiritual people, they are in fact preying upon people that are either very insecure, desparate for information regarding something very close to them.. or sometimes just folks that are curious but mostly very 'open minded'...

if I told you that in the future, a bird will shit my car... it will at some point come true... 'cos birds like shitting on my car.. and I'm gonna get 'em for it... gonna get 'em good... but I know that I am no prophet or 'see-er'.. the facts are pretty clear when you look at them... I have a car... there are birds.. birds like shitting on cars.. my car is no exception.. my car will therefore get shit on... and I will endeavour to get them for it..

seriously though... be careful with this stuff.... it's a great way to piss away a pile of money where maybe a nice long heart to heart with your best mate in the whole world would have produced better and more meaningful insight / advice / opinion.. for free too... and your best mate would feel even closer to you in the knowledge that they could have been a great help, shoulder to cry on.. or just someone that would sit and listen to a buddy in need...

Clarky, I have to disagree. I've seen to much NOT to believe. You can sit on the couch with my husband and discuss all the ways they "read your mind" and whatnot, but I still thinks it's cool. There are a lot of posers out there who make a bad name for the rest of the lot, but IMO, some people really have the gift. This is always a wierd subject because some people feel very strongly in what they believe. It doesn't matter either way to me. If you do, fine. If not, that's o.k. too :)

edit: I agree, you have to be careful with this stuff cause you can piss away a fortune and become a psychic junkie.

Clarky - Ive got a tip for you with regards to the arm on your trem being too loose. Take the plastic ferrels (sp???) off the arm and, assuming the wife has some, get some nail polish and put two coats of it in those spaces where the ferrels were. Let it dry and then replace the ferrels. Tada!!! better fitting trem arm. If it is still too loose then repeat as necessary until it fits nice.

JS JS, no it won't ruin your pedal if you don't use a Boss adapter, but the Boss PSA's are really good. If you don't have one, it is honestly worth getting one. I have 2....actually, I would have 3 if it weren't for the fact that some louzy b*st*rd nicked my first one! The Boss PSA's are designed to be noiseless and to be suitable for daisy-chaining power to a bunch of pedals.
Austin, what was that about Eric being responsible for the Pro Tools work on EOC? I thought the whole thing was done on an i-book? I may be wrong, but I seem to remember reading that Joe had recorded EOC while on tour?!
r6rocker, my heart sank when I got that amazon e-mail. arseholes. I think it's a bit rude that Steve came to the UK to record his DVD, and then the UK is to be the last country in the known universe to get to see what we hosted and supported. Then again, it's probably our fault for having PAL format TV or something - damn our higher resolution picture!
Clarky, yeah man, we all have 'em. err, I mean, isn't it normal to walk around with a box or NATO rounds in your back pocket?! hehe. About the Artic Warfare (AWM50) - it's 0mm spread accuracy is up to 1.5 miles. It will kill at twice that, but the bullett may wander off the mark up to 100mm! shock-horror. 10cm at 3 miles (on a still day)!
