AmerFarah - lol.. I mean like write your own songs with real notes and stuff like with a pen and paper so ya kinda get the tunes an shit in ya head.. kinda write out how the guitars and bass and drums are gonna go on the special music paper with the lines and shit on.. then you can take this home and sight read it and it should come out real good.. if ya bass player and drummer can read and you wrote their stuff out first you can make them copies and they can read what you wrote too..
writing music on like the special music paper [known as 'manuscript paper'] using all the dots and stems and shit is known as 'scoring'...
a piece of paper with all the real music dots and shit is known as a 'score'
ur own songs is like known as 'ur own songs'... lol
jahahahahahhahahahaha AWESOME CLARKY!! hahahah

good evening fellow satchers!--(VENTING) i was at work today, listening to SBM and one of the painters said it sounded like porno music because it had no words. i asked him why and he said real music has words. i told him i felt sorry for him because he must lack the ability to FEEL music, not just to HEAR it and miss out on the enrichment that it brings to a persons life. the ability to be able to pick up an instrument and breathe such feeling and life into it is amazing, why do you need words ? what a jerk! anyways , its nice to be a part of this board with others like myself. thank you all ,and joe .

Jazzer13 I whole-heartedly agree. I live in a hick town and everyone listens to sad country songs. NO OFFENSE INTENDED TO ANYONE. No one realizes music doesn't need words to be truly great and perfect. I mean that's why this place is here though right? MIND STORM

From the state where drinking and driving is considered a sport, comes a true story from Texas.
Recently a routine police patrol parked outside a local bar. Late in the evening the officer noticed a man leaving the bar so intoxicated that he could barely walk. The man stumbled around the parking lot for a few minutes with the officer quietly observing. After what seemed an eternity and trying his keys on five different vehicles, the man managed to find his own car which he fell into.
He was there for a few minutes as a number of other patrons left the bar and drove off. Finally he started the car, switched the wipers on and off (it was a dry night), flicked the hazard flasher on and off, tooted the
horn and then switched on the lights. He moved the vehicle forward a few inches, reversed a little and then remained stationary for a few more minutes as more patrons left in their vehicles.
At last he pulled out of the parking lot and started to drive slowly down the street. The police officer, having patiently waited all this time, now started up his patrol car, put on the flashing lights, promptly pulled the man over and carried out a breathalyzer test. To his amazement the breathalyzer indicated no evidence of the man having consumed alcohol at all! Dumbfounded, the officer said "I'll have to ask you to accompany me to the Police station this breathalyzer equipment must be broken."
"I doubt it," said the man, Tonight I'm the designated decoy."
P.S. I used to live there
