Clarky/Nick - I have a gig this Saturday. It was a short notice booking. So, unfortunately, I won't be able to make that jam. Again... lol... You can go ahead and do it without me if you like, or altenatively I promise I'll be free the following weekend. Honest... lmao

the Phrygian Dominant mode is the 5th mode of the harmonic minor scale. It's also known as the Phrygian Major mode. It's one of Joe's favourites. When that was my name in here most people abbreviated it and called my PhryDom so I changed it.

trivia time---where can you find this quote? " music is the language of the heart, the sound of the soul. the more we understand it, the deeper the listening experience becomes".

Can anyone tell me what the Piezo Bridge option is that some of the MusicMan guitars offer..like the Petrucci signature and the Luke Signature. Thanks.

Ethn: Chopin is da man! Such a joy to listen to and play. To me he is like Satch or Vai...he utilizes technique to make beautiful music. If you are still looking for an amp, try out the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. It is the first tube amp that I really like. All I did to it was to swap the speaker for a Vintage 30 and swapped the tubes for JJ tubes. This thing sounds very very nice. It sounds very good with ds1's or other pedals, and the clean channel over drives in a very warm manner. I recorded a U2 type part the other day where I had the amp up to 9 out of 12 (luckily I was recording direct, so I can still have children hah!) and it had this great smooth overdrive. Basically this amp is great if you want tone in a small package. Also, this amp has tons of bass end, so it doesn't sound anemic outdoors or on tile floors. Don't buy into the hype of modelling....I had a podpro rig, and now (with a speaker simulator) this amp and my pedals are my session rig, and I can get a much better and brauder range of tones. I should mention that after only about $200 (making a grand total of $800 with the amp) worth of mods this amp sounded vastly better than a Marshall TSL60 that a friend had, which was at least $1000. The fender and the ds1 sounded sooooo fat next to the Marshall's crappy phony distortion, and the marshall's clean sounded like plugging into a mixer...uggggg!

Hi everyone...I'm back at school now. My room is still a huge mess...I need to finish unpacking. ;-)
My internet connection is working, but I can't sign on to AOL through my school's network anymore. I don't know if that's AOL's fault or my school's fault...bah!
trutina - Welcome back! :-)
JS JP 41 - The Eight Steps and Slick were both recorded during the SBM sessions.
The G3 live albums that you mentioned are being released in addition to Joe's upcoming studio album.
Aaron Hoey - If they gave you the wrong book, it's their mistake and they should take it back. If not, just buy that album from a record store.
Metal Head03 - I think Joe's new studio album will be out around April.
...Austin...
