Hey all,

hope everyone is doing good

ok so my truck got broken into tonight AGAIN, they busted my door handle, then the window, then proceded to steal my wallet with all my stuff inside, my cell phone, my radio for work, papers, etc.....

I was outside my local mall & just happened to put all my stuff in my truck cause I had to help take down a kiosk (only a one night thing) but I had everything hidden so no one could have known what was in it.

after the police came & documented everything I cleaned everything up & noticed they had broken off part of a screwdriver in the ignition so I coldn't get home at all, so I had to get it towed home

sheesh it hasnt even been a year since it got broken in last time, it is now 4:54 AM here & I have to be at work at 7 am , haha fun, we will see what happens, but anyways stay up peope, joe rules.....................

dude, my truck isnt perfect , just a late model toyota, I dont know what the deal is, I mean check this out, I have a cd deck on it & it was in my little cubby detached at the time & they rumeged the truck & didn't even take it.

I got a lesson on dusting fingerprints, lol that was interesting.

& the screwdriver they used to break everything with they left in my truck, the cop just said hey they left it it is yours now, to throw away or keep as a souvenir.

but hey I am alright & thats what counts, just waiting for the real fun now of getting all new id's & cancelling everything. ah I will throw on some satch to calm me down,

stay cool boyd

Joe / anyone, Faced with the following dilemma whilst practising this weekend (learnt "Eugene's Trick Bag" from the Crossroads soundtrack). When and when not to use a pick? Being a classically-taught player, I generally prefer finger-picking. However, there sometimes is no substitute for the speed a plectrum can generate. Problem is, in a lot of the stuff I play, I need to switch very quickly between fingers and plectrum, and currently cannot do this with the smoothness I require. Is there a solution, like a retractable plectrum or something? If not, maybe I should invent one.....

Quantum - Tubes.........What are the symptoms of your amp??? One thing that I do know is that it is recommended to change your valves every 3-5 years as they do wear out. Even if you dont actually think you need to change them change them anyway and keep the old ones as spares. One thing I would check is that none of them are slightly loose as this can make some fun sounds. Hope that helps.

ovation1 - I did read those articles just for the fun of it and I really couldnt help laughing!!!

WEBMASTER - Is there anyway of putting something on the site to search for your last post so you can carry on reading from that point on??? The reason for this is that I dont always use the same computer and sometimes finding the point where you left off can be quite hard.

Geez, its boring here at work today! And this board goes very quiet when im bored!

Just started using fruity loops and i must say how impressed i am at the difference in playing guitar on its own and playing guitar with drums. before i only used my GFX for drum loops and that is very monotonous but with fruity loops you can easily change the pattern throught the song!! definately worth looking at!

Does anyone else use fruity? or is there another similar thing? I heard Cubase was good?

Rurouni Kenshin is an anime. It describes the world of samurais(sp?) in the 18th century. Good work but you must have a good stomach to watch it(blood...).
