Wow i'm bitter. I'm stuck at my house for a three day weekend w/ no one to talk to except you guys and my cat. And frankly, my cat responds more. I just moved here june of last year, and my town sucks.

this is a joke by the way. There is a little old lady, who, every morning steps onto her front porch, raises her arms to the sky and shouts, "PRAISE THE LORD!"

One day an atheist moves into the house next door. He becomes irritated at the little old lady, so every morning, he steps onto his front porch after her and yells, "THERE IS NO LORD!"

Time passes with the two of them carrying on this way every day. Then one morning, in the middle of winter, the little old lady steps onto her front porch and shouts, "PRAISE THE LORD! Please Lord, I have no food and I am starving, provide for me, oh Lord!"

The next morning she steps onto her porch and there are two HUGE bags of groceries sitting there. "PRAISE THE LORD!" she cries out. "HE HAS PROVIDED GROCERIES FOR ME!"

The atheist neighbor jumps out of the hedges and shouts, "THERE IS NO LORD. I BOUGHT THOSE GROCERIES!!"

The little old lady throws her arms into the air and shouts, "PRAISE THE LORD! HE HAS PROVIDED ME WITH GROCERIES AND MADE THE DEVIL PAY FOR THEM.

JS JP 41 - Drill Instructor is cool eh? I can't wait until Ricky releases his new album... haha, good joke btw.

Ovation - The Clever Shredder Who Was Truely Pooched, sounds like a bed time story for the kiddies, lmao! This story starts off with Yngwie being exiled from thee great kingdom of Alcatrazz. Sir Vai of New York was chosen to replace the furious man known as Yngwie and he was given the axe to guard the territory. He wore snake leather boots and very scary tight spandex pants, it was all the rage. Though his past clothing is now truely pooched, Sir Vai has joined forces with past axe master Sensai Satriani to take on the world with a hired 3rd axeman every few years. This trio of Fury has become a world powerhouse, lol... ah... I think I really should write a book someday, or at least make a concept album with that title, lol...

And I really hope Mr. Garcia releases that album soon, I'm sure it'll be awesome!! EDIT - Oh yah! I saw a commercial yesterday, there is this Japanese Drum Ensemble thing coming close to my town soon. Lol, guys using gongs and other Japanese type drums! lol, that would be kinda cool to go to... I forget the name, but if I see the commercial again, I'll let you know what it's called. But I think they ripped off our percussion orchestra idea, lol.

Alexandre - A Lagoon to kayak!? You're so lucky man, that would be awesome! We have some good lakes and the ocean, but a lagoon would be so cool, lol. I hope I'll get to visit your country sometime... and the new guitar is great! It sounds awesome... I had it plugged into my Line6 GuitarPort on my computer yesterday. The pickup in it works very nicely. Thanks for asking! Have fun in Lisbon bro...

Mowlie/Prez - Happy 300 guys!

Everybody Check out This Guy: Scott Landers. He has muscular dystrophy and he absolutely rocks on guitar!! Check out his tunes... I'm really impressed by him. Here's his website too.

Happy 37th John Myung

Alexandre - Thanks for the website man! Wow, Obidos looks incredible. That's quite the castle too!! I look forward to going there sometime, :-)!!

JS JP 41 - Just the above joke... and lol. Ya that Drill Instructor video was a lil distorted, but if you liked it like that. just imagine what the studio version will sound like!

and DT stands for Dream Theater. If you've never heard them, check them out. One of the best groups on the planet ;-)! Here

Edit again: Ovation - This is the group... The Kiyoshi Nagata Ensemble. Pretty interesting...

Mr Nick don't know if you're online there, but 10000000 apologies - better luck tomorrow!!!!

Just had an idea... for the next week I'm going to play only bent notes (and stay in key, of course ;-) )... my bending is at times awful and at best hit-and-miss... so I'm gonna try this out... if I'm feeling brave I might attempt some double stops, but chords are out for me for the next week - just bent notes :-) later peeps... Dave

The Prez yeah, like all the other artists' books I've owned, I just give up after a while... lack of patience to learn other people's stuff I guess ;-)

oh, PS JOE and add-on to my earlier questions... what's the pedal whose sound you like so much (the one that sounds like the hole punch)??? Did you end up using it on the tour? Thanks!
