JS JP 41: lol man, it's because I love Ovation Acoustic's ;-).... When I first signed in here way back when it seemed like every name was taken!!.... Everything I tried was no good, lol, that's why you see so many numbers attatched to people names.... Now that I think of it, Paradigm Shift would have been a great name in honor of Dr. Petrucci!! ;-)
death cube K: lol /\/\/\R|<, I loved the way you jumped all over that, hehe, when I saw Bil's post, I read it the same way, lmao!! ;-)
JOE: Is this your dream come true on the Hendrix gig!!!! I could'nt think of a better candidate than yourself!!....

ethn, just talked to alex, still on for tomorrow. haven't heard from any of the other folks. it sounded like he wasn't exactly sure where the dvd was/is, but he said he'd have it sorted out by the time we left tomorrow.

Anybody else really into Chopin?I have to say he is my favorite glassical type guy,(He was a romantic composer, but anyways)
His preludes and Nocturnes are so awesome, and his etudes were great too.I recommend checking out the preludes, a few of them work on guitar pretty well.

/\/\/\R|<: hehe, I see what you mean, lol, but the U.S. does have some quality beer.... Samuel Adams comes to mind.... Not many can beat that one, lol.... I'm from New England, and back in the day it was Moosehead that ruled....
Ethn Hayabusa: Chopin is the man, as well as Bach.... Tocatta & Fugue, Harpsichord Concerto, Little Prelude.... One of my faves is by Liszt.... Mazeppa.... Oh, let's not forget Mozart and Eine Kleine Nachtmusik!!.... Translate these Masterpieces to guitar, and they sound kuul as ice!!....

Ovation-I like pretty much the whole the romantic gang, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, and even Liszt, although he usually plays too over the top.Take a look at the score for the transcendetal etudes sometime, it looks like someone took a drop of the shade white and just sprinkled it lightly over a black piece of paper.Just silly.
Baroque stuff never really did it for me.I like beethoven, who was classical, but I always considered him to be the father of the romantic style.
beyond that Im not into enough composers.I like Stravinsky and Zappa.ESPECIALLY Zappa.
Graham, could you call me at work before you leave? No need to answer here, im off for the night.

Ethn Hayabusa: Thank's for the recommendation bro.... I was also gonna add Vivaldi's Four Seasons, lol, the romantic gang made some incredible music, and the catalog's are just endless!!.... That's what is so great about Classical Music.... It's a never ending study, lol!!....
Oh yeah, and Zappa was a pure genious!!.... Someone like him comes along once a millenium, lol....

Hi guys
My friends and I have been wondering why the audience goes "boo" each time Stu Ham is presented on stage by Joe. This must have been going on for some time as it happens on different DVDs, one from 1996 and one from 2002.
Does anyone know why?
