Trutina - Welcome back, just checked out your tune. Well good! I will be checking out your other tunes when im home from work! How do you go about recording? straight into the PC or via an amp or...?

Yer hopefully now im getting into this fruity loops thing I should have some of my own music up there. having a drum beat has filled me with some inspiration

Master Yoda - Cool explanation on time sigs. Still a very grey area for me though. Perhaps if one day you have time we could discuss it on MSN?

Cheers people and have a nice day!

Trutina buddy...

glad your back...

I've had people listen to Joe's music and I flat out told them that he's an instrumental guitarist and they still ask me where the words are... So it might not be because they want to hear words, it might be that fact that they don't understand too much of any thing about music in general... Kinda like the Grammy's and the voters involved... you know how it is...

Happy Birthday Alex...

and when u start think Clarky is smart after all, he goes and says sth like Pia being Steve's dad, omg.

Simon - hey Simon! whatz with the jeez? :)

Clarky yeah the RG550EXL looks damn fine! Get one custom made? I shudder to think of the cost... I've already had the suggestion of spending £300 greeted by a look of utter incredulity! lol

Happy birthday Alex!! :-)

Maybe Pia is VBIL? lol

EDIT: (why can't everyone find the EDIT link? :-/ ) a fun game for all the family ;-)

Dave Saw this and thought that your bend practise could be written off in one go - lol (interesting idea thought) If All Else Fails... Cheat!

A final tip: not a lot of people know this, but Antares Auto-tune works rather well with electric guitar. Of course Auto-tune is monophonic, so it will dutifully ignore chords and double notes, but it will come into play when it detects a single note. You might reasonably ask whether a guitar tuner might not be a wise investment, but the reason I suggest Auto-tune is not to compensate for a badly tuned guitar, but rather to pull imprecisely bent guitar stings into pitch. You can do this using a fairly slow tracking time in Auto-tune so that the bend dynamics aren't changed in any obvious way — it's just that when you finish bending, the note will come to rest on a precise value. Not that I'm suggesting you need to do this, of course, but the day will come when a client plays a never to be repeated take that is perfect apart from a few bend intonation problems...

Megaboyd: Who are you again? lol

death cube K: Thanks for checking out the tune, and yeah it makes sense. I had fun doing it, and rediscovered the JS6 with it. Even thought the solo sucked it was still fun. Nice song title btw.

Sharif: I forgot to tell you that I checked out your site the other day, good tunes man. I like all the changes in the first one, very much all over the place, just like emotions can be when a girl has messed up your head.

zonin: Damn dude, that sucks. Seems like you're keeping your chin up, so continue on, things will get better.

Ollyno1uk: Thanks man, I appreciate it. I record into a Digitech GNX3 and then transfer to my pc for mixing. The memory card I use to transfer the files is about worn out, hence all the static in the recordings, but I'll get around to picking up another eventually.

Alexandre: Happy Birthday Bro! Hope you have a great day.

Plum Loco: Thanks dude, good to be back. As far as other people not liking instrumentals, I guess too many people have to be told thru lyrics what a song means. I like instrumentals because the song can mean anything to anyone. And it destroys language barriers, becoming a true international language of its own.

mischevious: I'm certain Clarky was joking about Pia being Vai's dad. I know I was about her being Vai's brother in law (Can't believe no one picked up on the Avarice reference lol)

PhryDom: Nevermind, I stand corrected lol.

Thanks to everyone for checking out my site, here's another shameless self promotion Take care everyone, have a rockin day.
