Man I've not seen Rush live since the Show Of Hands vid (I was there for that :-) )... G3 & Rush... and I'm thinking of Holland for SV too... just a question of locating adequate funds now rofl

michelle - wow.. lol.. sounds fun.. maybe it'd be a good time of invent 'big critter tennis'.. one of you opens the window and holds the curtains back.. the other has to bat the critter through the window.. the person that bats the critter into someone elses house wins...
tastey - I'm really into natural colours.. stone, woods, calico, wicker, canvas, cotton and autumn colours [kinda the colour scheme in Sunflowers by van G] mixed with deep blue.. I only do strong and dark colours with curtains and furnature.. I like pale, plain walls [no patterns] that have been painted right onto the plaster.. no wallpaper.. I like the walls to be fairly neutral so the colour is added by what fills the room [my lounge and kitchen are both painted a stone colour which is quite light but not pale].. I love chrome and glass.. beech wood floors, brushed steel
I love my kitchen and my lounge
Yoda - haha... D add4 add 6 is a piss take chord.. lol... dude.. you should know me better than this.. lol..so ypou corrected a piss-take.. lol..
the serious bit starts here --> the point I was trying to get across was:
do not name a chord based only upon the lowest note..
if you can rotate the notes so they stack better in 3rd intervals then you'll end up with a nicer and simpler name for it..
it will be easier to sight read
the not serious bit starts here ..lol..--> I didn't get to hear you tune yet.. just been real busy at work.. meetings, meetings.. poxy conference calls and then meetings.. does my head in.. I hate meetings.. too much vapour-ware and nothing being done.. meetings about meetings.. and conf calls to determine the agenda of a meeting.... aaaaahhhh!!!.. no wonder F-A gets done.. and today I'm recovering nicely from last night... I'll be going to lunch today with someone else that went too:
A - find out what happened last night
B - find out if I was well behaved
obviously I have no idea what happen because I was there.. lol..
"Emaj7/B is that chord, and the voicing is a bit gay. lol "
and that is exactly as I'd have said it too.. yes no question.. the voicing is definately gay.. lmao..
mick87 - roflmfao... little wang.. lol... awesome...
anyways.. it's not the size that counts.. everyone knows that.. so long as you make good electical contact then 1/4" will be good enough....
at least that's what my guitars tell me... or do you think that they are just trying to make me feel good 'cos I'm the boss..

Hey guys,
I was just browsing the Satch titles on the Playusa.com site and came across an album titled "Is there love in space?" with a release date of 12th April 2004.
Could this be the new album title???
Here's the link

I literally threw my hands up over my face and said "NOOOOOO!" These are 2 of the BEST songs ever! I can't vote against either one!
Must kill Austin's computer...............or call it a tie and vote for neither :)

Clarky Thanks matey!! Also additional thanx for the suggested voicing, I'll have to have a play around with it over the weekend and see what I can come up with. I'm getting me soundclick site sorted at the mo, so along with new and old album tracks if I come up with a good track usin this chord I'll stick that on there too, I'll call it something like "Clarky vs Yoda" (lol!!). Only kiddin' ;-) (or maybe Samurai vs Jedi????).

EVERYBODY STOP!!!! Get off your chair and bow down before me. For I am AMAZING!!! Yeah, got myself a pedal: Ibanez Smashbox. Also got some tab books for Metallica: Master of puppets, and Satriani: Surfing with the alien. OVER 1000 posts since last been here, only read 100 :-( Missed some stuff out, more than likely. I'll read it later. BTW, got VAI's anthology, not bad but nothing great, no offence. Also got Satch's anthology, disappointed that he never re-recorded some of his songs though. How does YJM remember all those notes!?!
Clarky, I think that game already exists down south. LOL!
Jazzer, Joplin sounds like a seriously cool cat, as does the lesser toed Chauncy. lol! What lead to the amputation? Geez man, if you ever need pressure applied to one of your bandages, ask Joplin. Sounds like the kitties hands are bigger that yours! lol! Good luck with the bone drilling. I hope you have great results from it and less pain. Oh, and easy on the painkillers. They'll take a toll on your liver after a while. Make sure you're drinking LOTS of water while you're taking them. Good Luck!!

CLARKY: sounds cool. im addicted to those home makeover shows. i get alot of ideas from them. your place sounds real nice. you're the only one who answered my question. i guess its not a great question, plus its not music related, i just wanted to get to know some of you guys more byt seeing your style.
WHITE STRIPES...not sure why i like them, funky catchy tune, different, and i heard that they only play old instruments to get a certain sound which is cool, but they did awesome on the awards, michelle saw it, she thought it was cool too. so that makes 2 of us?
did anyone get to chat with joe? wish i was here when that happened, but i wouldnt have known what to say?

Ovation: I have had the name Jazzy_boy for some time. If I am changing nicks all the time, it's my business. Coming to Vai, you think only the USA radio stations get promo cd's??? I worked for Kuwait's Radio Station 99.7 and the music we get there is from all over the world, everything. Its runs 24/7. If you are interested in teaching them some Vai, I fear much will get done because they have quiet am amazing staff thats well versed with pretty much all kinds of music. Here is a link if you would like to access it:

To the rest, Shoot.....I missed the joe chat. Anyways. I went to see Opeth and man they rocked the stage. Simply amazing. That is Metal. If Steve's Music was compared as being metal, not too many people would agree.

Michelle- Dont you think Bill Murray would be a great addition to g3? I loved his karoke scenes... lol...
Austin- Hey can you help me out for a minute? Ok, I have a song stuck in my head- Kirsty MacColl- In These Shoes... You mind going ahead and getting it stuck in yours for awhile? I need a break, and it seemed to work last time... :)
Hope all in Satchland have a good morning...

Do The Stu: man, this was a hard one. How could you put Rubina's blue sky happines and War together? And Surfong with an allien and The forgotten?
JOE: I don't care if G3 won't come to Slovenia. But I'd like to see you on a new album tour. You will come, won't you? Pleeeeeease??
