You know, that Keeley modified DS1 is starting to sound more and more intriguing.....may have to get one of those.
And I agree that Steve Morse would be a *great* choice for G3. I'm really sorry that I missed the Petrucci incarnation.

So Mikey, since your in stealth mode, you'll probably still be reading this, so's I got another Vai DVD thang fer ya. Can you figure out what point in the video the picture of Steve on the cover was taken, cause I know :) I just caught it. I have the cover propped up under the t.v., and I though "hey, cause I call myself that sometimes, I said Hey, that looks familiar!" and there was the cover shot. Another thing with Bad Monkey...errrr Horsie - one of the finger lasers is dangling throughout most of the song. During the end 'edit' when he switches to the white guitar, the finger laser is back on his finger, BUT THEN, when he takes his guitar off and hands it to Sven, it's flopping around again. Yeah, I got it like dat yo! lmao!!

Hey Joe, have you ever heard Course Of Evolution, Matt King's band? If so, what do you think of them? I think they're the best unsigned band I've ever heard. I know their songs like if I've been listening to them for years.

ovation1 - The title "Is There Love In Space?" gives so many possibilities for an AWESOME album cover. I'd actually prefer that Joe not be on the cover. A cover similar to Pearl Jam's Binaural would be VERY cool. It'd be even cooler if Joe could insert his guitar into a spacey photo somehow...
It seems that Joe hasn't had much of an album artwork budget for his past few releases. I hope he's able to come up with something awesome here.
michelle - I know when Vai's LATA cover photo was taken. He chose the perfect moment during the concert for the cover, IMHO.
Has your G3 CD booklet arrived yet?

Powerslave, you got it! It looks like it's right at the beginning of Whispering a Prayer when Lars hands him Flo. He put Flo on and looks up like that, and WHAM! there you have the cover picture :)
DCK, if you listen closely, you can hear a Bad Monkey in that song. I swear to all things jelly filled *holding my right hand over a Missy Elliott cd* . It's vague, but it's in there.
