Hi everyone...

The G3 DVD is the top-selling DVD at DVD Universe.

The G3 CD is #17 at CD Universe.

Webmaster - Do you have access to the SoundScan sales figures for the G3 2003 releases? If so, can you share...?

...Austin...

Look My Way is a really fun song to listen to. I love the way his voice sounds.

anyway I'm working on Battle of the Bulge and my friend said that he met two WWII veterans and he gave them his e-mail and they gave him a lot of info so I'm doing the same.

Clarky How far are you on that essay?;-)

Say Joe plays 10 (I would be gutted if it was any less, stuff the G3 jam, I want more Satch and I bet most of us do), then I would like:

Surfing, Boogie, Lights of heaven, Summer Song, Love Thing, Devils slide, Mystical potato......,Crystal Planet, Always with me, and I guess he will play Rubina.

Vai: For the Love of god, Juice, Answers, The Crying Machine, The attitude song, Liberty plus 3 or 4 more

Don't really know anything about Fripp to be honest.

When I said stuff the Jam, I don't mean I don't want to see a jam, but I saw a post once where Joe said he might have to shorten his set depending on how long the jam was. Joe, please, if it's a choice between your set being longer of having one more jam song, please choose the former. The jam is cool, but we want Satch first and foremost. Here's hoping, as I say, if Satch played less than 9 or 10 songs, I would be majorly disappointed and pretty let down.....

shogun vai,

you haven't heard mention of doug doppler before?? He is huge around the SF bay area, & he opened on the side stage for G3 2003 in concord, amongst other great things! I really like his playing, the man is unreal.

last year On november 1st I was gonna go see doug play & I went out & the show was cancelled, & he hasn't played around here since, so I am defenitly gonna go see him again!!

Good evening!!!!!

I got the G3 DVD today, marvelous!!!!!!

JOE- You are so fresh during the show, happy and you are singing very well!!! Your new gear sounds so sweet, and touching. CONGRATULATIONS, GOOD CHOICE ;-) !!!! Who did the paint in your new guitar? The guitar with the flames and with the surfer. It`s pretty cool!!!!! Can you tell us if you did some contacts with some Portuguese promotors? I think that i want to give a kick in those guys. They contract so strange bands and nothing about G3 in Portugal :-/. I don`t have nothing more to ask you, i know you are a busy person :-). I think that i will be in Madrid :-). Congratulations!!!!!!

OVATION1 - did you get the G3 DVD? The first songs of Steve Vai is amazing, great show!!!!!! BTW how is your guitar? It`s fixed? I hope so :-) !!!!! Have a good time bro!!!!!

MICHELLE - Thanks dear Satch fan :-). Hadji send you a big licking :-))). have a good weekend :-) !!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID GILMOUR (1946) AND MICHAEL ROMEO (1968)

I dont know whats the problem with my DVD. I just cannot hear Joe during the jams and and barely hear him during starry night. Anyways, my roomates TV is really shitty so I will blame it on that and my PC's DVD player is not getting along with me nowadays. SAD :-(

Hi everyone ! I didn't post here for the last couple of weeks 'cause I've been studying for my trade exam. Yeah , I did pretty good : 80%.

So , I bought a couple more CD's: Mo Foster: Bel Assis ( haven't opened it yet) ; Matthias IA Eklundh : F.G. - a bit disappointed, but I still like many aspects of his playing. The Zappa influence is obvious and I like the fact that he knows when to slow down (or not to play fast). ... and... Rush : Hold Your Fire (remastered) I love this record. " Open Secrets" is one of my all time fave's . Now that's songwriting !

.......and I feel sorry for Joe and Steve that Yngwie had to shred his brains off during Little Wing. Little Wing, whoever in the world thinks of shredding during little wing needs his balls shoved down his throat.

Austin, thanks dude!

SupaaDave, in-f***ing-credible is a lovely summary of Dr Vai's performance! hehe. How cool is the end of his set, when they all play that harmony? Billy's facial expressions make me laugh!
tetovo, keep checking Steve Vai's website for tour dates. When dates are confirmed for the places you want to go see G3, a link to that venue's box office will also be posted.
I would personally love to hear Joe play Hill groove, The Forgotten (Part 2), Echo, A Train of Angels and Lights Of Heaven.

I'd like to see Vai do something similar to I Know You're Here cuz it's just so nuts, The Animal, Juice, Boston Rain Melody

I too know nothing about what Fripp might play as a solo act so it'll be a nice surprise

Alexandre, the G3 DVD is impressive isn't it?! Enjoy!
Ovation1, I forgot to say thanks for the 'good luck' wishes for the musical! Damn, I worked on the next 3 songs today.....the teacher who arranged the musical did it all on keyboard, so some of the lead guitar phrases are kind of interesting, in a slightly frightening sense!
Just bought by G3 Bournemouth tickets! can't wait! I got terrace seat....9 of 'em! £262 is quite a lot, methinks.
In case I didn't make it abundantly clear already ~ The Forgotten (Part 2) For G3!

Shogun Vai: Konichiwa. Thanks for the kind words and lifting my spirits! hehe! I have decided I will not let them stop me from seeing G3 and Jeff Beck! I went and picked up maps, travels books for my adventure.I have been studing the tour schedule and my strategy is: I'm going to Sweden for G3 and London for Jeff Beck! I have tickets for J. Beck both nights but I have to return to the states thurs. 24th missing his 2nd show. Oh well! at least I can make this work! I already turned in the paper work and No one else is Off! Keep an eye out for me if you can for the Sweden gigs. They aren't on sale yet, Ijust checked with Vai.com. I've seen the Swede T2Jer wondering about tickets also. Do you know what the time difference is from here EST to Sweden? I'll talk to you soon. Plan B is now in effect! Thanks again mate! Cheers!

962:Allright? I'm really disappointed that I can't see all the shows I had planned! It would have been much easier, but at least I still get to see G3 (it'll just be in Sweden) However I can still see J Beck on the 23rd and head home on the 24th. I would have loved to see G3 at RAH! Oh well. Maybe we could still meet up in London when I'm there mate? I'd love to say Hello! I still may need a little advice about London as my trip gets closer, if you don't mind. Would you like to have my ticket for Beck's show on the 24th? Section CSF2 row 7 seat 99 I have no idea if it's a decent seat. I still can't figure out the seating chart! lol! Thanks again for your help mate! Cheers!

Joeman9: How are you? I hope you are okay. I got to run, I'll talk more later!

Alexandrecaetan: I'm so sorry to hear about your father's accident! I'm glad he is doing better. Thank God he was not hurt seriously! I'll keep him in prayers.

mari

edit:I have a feeling Jeff Beck will "pop in" on a show! It is a very stong feeling! That's why I really wanted to see G3 in the UK, but it's just a feeling. I feel it in me bones mate! lol! (especially since Joe's message to Ya Yo!)

Mikesb, I'll have to check that out. It sounds like a good one.

elpp, nice to see you again. Glad things are going well. Good luck with the game, but more importantly, get to a doctor and get your heart pain checked out. Believe me, you'd much rather catch a problem before all hell breaks loose. Good luck bro.

Alexandre, ha! Thanks Hadji! lol!

I think the one of the funniest parts of the G3 DVD is when Yngwie talks and sings. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy and I think he can shred his ass off, but when he talks sometimes, and especaiily the first few words of Voodoo Child, I have to laugh. What the hell does he say there anyway? I bust up every time he starts singing that song. LOL!

Mari I'm fine working on a B/S project. how are you? I really hate this. I'm holed up at home and my parents are near forcing me to try to finish this sh*t in one day I'm really about to cuss 'em out they are really pushing it. I can't find anything worthwhile, and I have other stuff to do. My project isn't due til the 19th. later
