jazzy boy- i second that... wish that i could just go to the store and pick up alexandre caetano cd...lol...

dck- had my wisdom teeth out this morning... and everything seems to be going fine... only took twenty minutes and the bleeding has stopped on all but one... i would definitely recommend taking the painkillers as soon as you are able to get some food in your stomach though... sick of pudding and ice cream already though... think i might make a run to kfc for some mashed potatoes (with no gravy... yuck...lol...) and try a biscuit... when do you get yours out?

alexandre caetano- i hope all is well with your friends in madrid... thats so horrible, breaks my heart...

austin- in your sociology of sports class did you talk about mondays hit on moore from vartuzzi? what did you guys think?

seems to be a bit slower in here the last couple of days... everyone in Satchland doing ok? Hope you all have a good night...

juju

JS_JS, Hello how are you.

To answer your question, yes I am a Christain. Glad to here that you and Joeman are brothers in Christ. I do have a few guns, and a few guitars. I enjoy hunting, and playing my axes. My "nick" actually is the name of a book Ted Nugent wrote. I was here years ago under the "nick" of MARANATHA, which means the LORD cometh. I play in a classic rock band, mostly 70's and 80's stuff a few newer tunes also. I started playing in 1981, the year I graduated High School. I guess that makes me old for some here. I am a converted drummer. When I first heard Eddie that was it for me. I did not know who Joe was until around 1992. I have seen him twice from about 6 feet away, at the House of Blues in New Orleans. The wife and I got there early for that spot. I am waiting for him to return, hopfully I will get to meet him this time. I did shake his hand as he left the stage after the last show I saw. He is my favorite player, and I say that because I do not fill there is any human standard that can judge who the best is. So I believe you can only truly say who your favorite is at any given momment.

Well I gotta get. We will talk again thanks for the meet....Clint

GODSGUNSGUITARS: I'm like (Christian:Catholic) you minus the guns and the wife haha! I remember a quote from Nuge that went "if God didn't want us to eat animals he wouldn't have made them out of meat." Nuge is full of the wisdom haha!

Bluebuffallo9: New strings and a bottle of FingerEse lubricant will tame the string noise, it will also extended your string life and keep the strings from eating into your finger tips.....Okay Fingerese where's my check? hah!

Mick: there's only half a million of us here. Lots of unsettled areas. A third of the island is protected. VERY mountainous and picturesque. We have the cleanest air in the world. Here's a good map for you to get some idea of the look of it. Check out Cradle Mountain - beautiful! I live in the city Launceston ("lon sess tn" - not "lorn sess tn" as the original English town) in the north. My family lives in Penguin in the NW (actually it's top centre, but compared to most people in the state it's NW). I lived there during my school years.

Get a good perspective of the size compared to the rest of the country and the current times. Australia is roughly the size of USA (a bit smaller).

Megaboyd: I very regularly have the hiccups...whenever I eat or drink something! No, I don't do it too fast either. I have a reputation for being a slow eater.

wow... I think I like this place... and I thought I was like the only catholic christian who played cool guitar lol.. good to know I'm not this alone finally... presenting myself, I'm a 16 year old french-speaking quebecer who tries to play guitar and who really can't do much... lol. I've been a Satch fan for something like two years, own some of is albums, but I've never seen him perform live. I don't have guns and I don't have a wife lol. I own a single guitar, an acoustic diastone and that's the main reason why I'm not good... I'm looking forward to buy some new electric guitar, what would you guys think I could get for a medium amount ok $$??? whatever, I think I'll keep on coming here I think it's a great place for guitarists... whatever.... see y'a....

UF Dean, thanks for thinking of me :) Actually we decided on an Ibanez GSR200 in transparent blue. Go to www.musiciansfriend.com and put in the number 519713 in the search thingy. That should bring up the bass we picked. Please let me know what you think.

Graham & Austin, read above message.

Julie, hope you're feeling better soon. ouch!

[posh Enlish accent] I say - Shawn Lane is rather a good guitar player, what! [/posh English accent]

But seriously, ignoring all boundaries of taste, he is so fast it's unreal!!!! But there's a lot more to his playing than just that. Or rather there was...

R.I.P. Shawn Lane.

Tell me a place where I can pick up alexandre's cd, i would love to!

Is there love on earth. There is Love and there is hate. Taking you guys as an example, and a lot of others I met in my life...I believe there is love on earth. My family is the best example I am familiar with. We as humans tend to turn hostile towards things we cannot understand. If we understood everything perfect, we would be a lot more empathetic.

I just got back from a guitar workshop in a neighboring city. Michael Gulezian was the host and it was simply wonderful. Three whole hours passed by like three minutes. Amazing. Also, anyone heard of Michael Hedges?

Adrian Legg may well be the most impressive acoustic player I've come across. Some of his material is just unreal!

Has anyone here played any of Sid Meier's Civilization games? I love 'em... I spent several hours tonight playing Civilization II. I did the WWII sim twice... I conquered Europe and most of Russia as Hitler, and then I beat Hitler in a nuclear war as Churchill. Fun stuff... ;-)

JS JS - The Archive Vault is located in the drop-down menu.

The Farting Gnome - Yeah, Ibanez messed up the JS 1200 listing.
juju808 - I want some ice cream! Hahaha...what's your favorite flavor?

Okay, I read your other post...you're sick of ice cream already? You suck! What about Jello? Have you had any of that? Do you like macaroni and cheese?

I had a midterm in my sociology of sports class today, so we didn't get to talk about the hockey hit. I'll bring it up on Tuesday though...

SupaaDave - Yeah, terrorists are cowards... Have you seen that one SNL skit with OBL and his band of followers? OBL starts going off on one of his rants about how we're the "Great Satan"...he mentions the $2 million bounty that we're offering for his capture, and one of his followers decides to turn on him to cash in...hehe.
devil dogg - You should be able to find some JS and SV posters on Ebay. That's really the only place they're available.
MegaBoyd - Have I told you my $10 hiccup story?

I want the Almost Famous director's cut. I've been dying to see the Stairway To Heaven scene...haha. It's so cool how Cameron Crowe put it in the bonus features...

michelle - I've played that bass before...it's a pretty good one. Let us know if you have any questions or need help with anything...
death cube k - Doyle Dykes is AMAZING.
fictionised - Joe hasn't been down under in a LONG time... I'm sure he wants to go back there, but I don't know if/when he can make it work...
