Anyone have any idea when the Satch.com will be changing its look to the Is There Love in Space? theme? Cant wait to see what the new album cover is going to look like. It could go so many ways. My guess would be animation ala Surfing or Engines instead of a pic of Joe ala Crystal Planet or Strange Beautiful Music.

Joe - I was wondering how you have your monitors on stage setup and what you have coming thru them? Also what are your thoughts on wireless units and in-ear monitoring?

Baltimore Norm - MTV owns the rights to Joe's MTV Unplugged appearance. I can't see them ever releasing that footage. There are a few clips from the performance on Joe's The Satch Tapes DVD.

Jazzy Boy - I smiled at the Big Bad Moon video the first time I saw it. I didn't laugh, though.
Gibson on the Fender - Hi...welcome to the site!
Artanis I - Yeah, I realized I posted twice in a row after I did it...oh well, though...both of my posts were long.
tetovo - The G3 2001 Toronto recording is a bootleg.
pikey - Joe's squeal is the whammy bar with a pinch harmonic at the 24th fret on the G or B string.

Pikey- you can also squeal by pinching the open g and b strings too. If you want the squeal to rise in pitch then depress the whammy bar, hit the pinch harmonic and then release the bar slowly up and up.....

hello Joe,

I would like to know if you give a concert in the eastern part of germany one day? Why don't you come to germany in 2004? Many persons would enjoy your show. I think germans are really interessted in american music in general.

I'm writing a report about G3 for school and I want to know 3 things: 1.)Who is responsible for selecting the G3 members? 2.)What is about the years 1999 and 2002? 3.)Is there an official homepage of G3

How do you produce the "strange scream" with your vibrato-system?

Please visit the homepage of my band. www.onelanebridge.de.vu. You can hear some songs of us. Please sent us an e-mail and tell us how you liked them.

please answer

greetings your fan Matthias

MatthiasElMariachi - Several people on this site, myself included, have answered your questions. Joe won't be more inclined to answer you just because you keep reposting the same thing.

sending get well wishes to Trutina (Miranda give him a(nother) nice warm hug)
and here is my favourite Trutina-quote:

So anyway, that's what's been up with me, hope all is well with everyone here. I'll leave you all with a bit of advice:
Whomever it is that you care about, stop what you are doing right this moment and go get them right now and hold them close. You never know when your light will burn out. Are you still here? Get going now! I mean it! No cheating either!

P.S Joe, good luck with the new album. When I saw that picture of you standng next to neal schon while he was on the motor cycle my heart stopped! My 2 favorite guitarists in the same pic! You guys rock!

trutina/miranda, best regards to both of you. Miranda, i'm not at all religious either, but I do send my best wishes to bil. I'm really sorry to hear he had such a bad hit against the new treatment, i've seen similar things happen before and i know it's frustrating to know that the drugs can actually make things worse.

I haven't been here that long and have not had the pleasure of talking with bil much, but it is abundantly clear that he is part of the t2j 'inner circle' - he is one of those who everyone looks up to, who everyone likes to see hear and who everyone likes to hear from, and I hope we don't have to wait too long before bil posts to us all again.

If he is still in a coma then I hope he can hear you, so he can hear you give him everyone's best regards from the messageboard! I'm sure we are all agreed!

What is his favourite song/tune of Joe's? Do you know?

ollyno1, I just ordered 2 more tickets! ahh! Someone else do the sums on what 13 tickets at £29 costs me! hehe

Dude, thanks for telling me about where those seats are! I'm happier now! oh and thanks for the link to the seating plan. the numbers are kinda hard to read but I get the idea!

sheldyboy11, do you think think that joe getting the Sars virus would do justice to his career? It may be a 1% risk or whatever it has come down to, but traveling is largely governed by airlines, travel agencies and immigrations offices, and there will be a lot of officials recommending that people don't travel to certain places at certain times.

I'm sure joe will want to make a trip to india when it makes sense for him to do so.

what a bummer of a week it has been. last week i had about 4 friends coming to g3 with me at nottingham.
thursday: everyone said they'll be coming. at night one of the friends found out aint got no money.
firday friend 2 and 3 pulled out. friend 4 aint got enough money. i said i'll be still going no matter what. i'm definatly getting tickets oon the night. so i did.
still nothing from friends 1,2,4. friend 3 aint got no money and eventually be able to get them.
skipping to recent.
monday friend said yes he'll come.
today, found out friend 3 is going to move next month. what a bummer. and friend 4 pulled out just then coz of scared of getting beaten up. now i have about 2 possible friends coming . 1 depending on steve vai's music that i'm gonna show him today. so... so far. i'm on my own.

Generally speaking does Joe tour his albums in the UK/europe as well as the US? Have never been to a Satriani solo show, and as much as I'm looking forward to G3, I'm really hoping he'll tour Is there love in Space over here on his own too..... what are the chances?
