hey everyone, i'm back. kinda. just wanted to tell you all how grateful i am to be a member of this family. thanks to everyone here, my god you guys came out of the woodwork for me. even joe himself. wow. i'm truly speechless. i think you guys know what i'm thinking.

now, i need to dismiss some misinformation. i think miranda over reacted a bit to what was up. here's the full story: "he collapsed here at home" = i tripped over her shoes. "quit breathing" = doing my part to cut down on carbon monoxide levels in the living room. "heart stopped in the ambulance and twice at hospital" = my heart's been working for almost 29 years straight with no time off. union steward insisted on a break. "life support" = just trying to hook the hospital up with something to bill for. they don't have enough money coming in you know. "coma" = taking a much needed extended nap. "cpr" = she was trying to make out with me. and regarding last night's post, "he cried" = bullshit. complete fabrication. didn't happen. suffered a temporary gasket failure with eyelids. they're gonna fix it while i'm here.

they let me eat a wee little bit today. not much, just a few bites of something they claim is food. was interrupted by some condescending little bastard that was studying people's stories about being in a coma. he said, "so what do you remember about it?" i said, "you know when you rub your eyes real hard and see a bunch of colors? it's nothing like that." he didn't laugh, he looked annoyed. so i baited him. i told him i was in a thick forest and this very old man with long white hair and beard walked up to me. the old man said, "hello, my son." the interviewer seemed very interested now and asked what happened next. i told him i replied with, "fuck off old man!" couldn't resist it sorry. avarice would be proud lol. anyone here, please don't be offended by what i said to him. i only meant to offend him. and it worked. he left. and for the record, before you ask, it's like nothing at all. a very deep, dreamless sleep. no voices, no lights. waking up is a mother fucker though. feel like i've had the shit beat out of me. throat is as dry as a desert stone. penis extremely mad about the catheter (he'll never forgive me for this i know) and i'm starving but not allowed much due to stomach shrinkage. also i can't walk. will have to "relearn walking". what the fuck is that all bout? how do you forget to walk in a week? i think they brainwashed me. more money for the rehab center.

ok, time to bother people in surrounding rooms with some satch. i got in trouble this morning for listening to it too loudly. if all the other patients are in coma's, how can it possibly bother them I asked. no sense of humor here at all.

on a more serious note, i need to publicly thank miranda for literally saving my life. if it weren't for her i wouldn't be here anymore. i plan on spending the rest of a very long life showing her how much i appreciate it.

quote of the day: "i don't understand how someone can joke about something so dreadfully serious." loser interviewer dude as he stomped out earlier. hahaha

take care everyone. thanks again. it's good to feel loved and i'm sending it right back to you all. i'll be back soon. promise.

Austin, Ben and Jerry's is the muts' nuts! I'f you're in the market for Ice Cream, B&J's is surely what you gotta go for! hehe. I love Phish Food!

Ben & Jerry's for G3!

Yoda, bournemouth shouldn't cost you too much from Guildford! It costs £31 to get to London-Waterloo from Salisbury or Poole so it should be less from where you are. You gotta go see G3 man........anyhow, the Bournemouth show will be great, it's such a good venue!
is there Ben & Jerry's in space?
SupaaDave, dude you really need to check out amazon or stevie's website more often! You gotta get you that Live At The Astoria DVD - if you liked his G3 set you will absolutely love it! it's pretty lengthy too!

trutina, WELCOME BACK BIL!!!! we all missed you loads. I'm so pleased to hear you're awake. I know I don't know you much and don't talk to you much here on t2j (no reason....just coinsidence!) but I, like everyone else, have been really optimistic about reading a message from you soon!

Dude, you are one f*ing funny guy, I'll certainly make a point of looking out for you in future! I love the way you handled that interviewer, classic! I won't write too much now cuz I would guess you're feeling pretty drowsy! Is you're throat starting to rehydrate yet? I hope you're feeling better with every passing hour, and keep resting! Thanks loads for talking to us all and letting us know you're ok! Take it easy!

Miranda, thanks for keeping us updated on Bil's progress. He's obviously a very lucky guy, not only to be awake with the rest of us again, but to have you looking after him. When you're not both sleeping make sure you play some Satch nice and loud - you never know, the others in the ward may hear it in their 'sleep' and feel like they are Flying In A Blue Dream!

Oh and hey, when things are more 'back to normal', so to speak, and you have some free time, feel free to join the community here or keep posting under Bil's user-name...it's great to hear from you!

Warm regards to you both. I'm certain we are all thinking of you!!

Joe, I reckon it'd be a great idea to film your G3 tour with Robert Fripp here in Scotland at the Glasgow SECC. I will come up with a reason why later... hehe.

Greyfox88 - ALL of Stu Hamm's songs are good. Listen to everything...haha.

juju808 - You had your teeth pulled on Thursday, right? If you keep ice on your mouth today the swelling should hopefully be completely gone by tomorrowish...
bitoma - Keep checking the road page...updates will be posted by the webmaster when they're received.
Greyfox88 / weonlywonfiveone - I doubt Joe will film one of the European shows.

Hey everyone. Just picked up g3 live in denver (15 bucks at walmart). It's a great dvd, but the fretcam has not shown itself to me. I've tried to get it to work on four different dvd players now, including a computer dvd, to no avail. I'd love to see what it's all about. I've turned the feature on, and the little fretboard symbol appears when it's supposed to, but when I hit the angle button, I get nothing. Am I missing something?

y not? after all it's a g3 show, you can't always film in usa, give uk some credit man. i mean u can't have 'live in usa' for everysingle dvd they make. i reckon they should make a dvd were they put in a concert from each country they performed in, and show the audience reactions and everything. like a worldwide tour log dvd. basically a dvd about a whole tour and life during the tours. maybe we can spot jeff in his hotel room sorting the pillows in drum formation and starting to beat them with his drumming sticks. and joe trying to buy a guitar string from the shops while everyone is crowding around him. a dvd like this would be truly amazing. i'll buy it, i'm surem loads of peopel would. following joe satriani and steve vai on tour.

and it would also be a quite funny dvd, satriani seems a funny bloke and vai just made me laugh wen he made that bus turn around to look for that pick up in the bin. lol (sorry vai, i know u might of been angry with the fact he threw those pickups in the bin, but u have to admit, turning the whole bus around and gettting everyone to search for it in the bin is just hilarious) and looking at the pictures posted on the websites. u lot seem to be up to alot of funny stuff.
come on, make a dvd. on tour with the g3 crew. we want to know what it's like going on tour and what happens.
