hey, thanks for checkin out the demo..michelle hah its so nice to see you still on here -- i kinda got burnt out over time, there is always so much going on here, hard to keep up with it! Alex, hope yuo're still boogie boarding bro! Summer is creeping up, and man I can't wait!

The new site is rather excellent! I'm loving all the subtlness about it really -- it's not too crazy with graphics, but it gets the point accross. I really like it, it's a fast load too, which is one of the most important things! GREAT job jon :)

Jazzy Boy....I don't know what the specs are for the "Joe" pick-up such as, the number of coil windings or its specific output, I just know it was designed to be better suited to the DiMarzio "Fred".....you can really hear it good on the G3 '03 DVD....then again that raw sound he's getting now could be the pick-up AND the Peavey JSX combined. Either way it sounds Smokin' !!!!

Whoa.....check out my number of posts !!! I better get my ass to church...lol....NOT !!!

webmaster cool new look, Jon! Thanks! :-) I particularly like the way my name is blue - it's kinda like Joe wrote it! lol. It looks brilliant in Mozilla - haven't looked in IE.

Hi Alex! Thanks for your welcome & your praise! :-) :-) :-)

Thanks Michelle. Yeah it's a cool boot, and cos it was on the radio it's excellent quality! ;-)

Paul crikey bro that's a helluva good deal! I think I might get Teatle to source my next PC!!! Oh, hey, I might have a spare SB Live here if you're interested? I'm going to install my Echo Gina so I probably won't need the SB.

Hey thanks Danny! :-)

Thanks /\/\ikey!!! John only played on the first album, but I don't know if he did any live dates. There's a drum solo on this "album" but I can't tell if it's Neil or not!

Naty I too can remember when it was all just fields, however I cannot stray too far from my computer for fear of forgetting my identity ;-)

OK catch y'all later... it's good to be back and it sucks donkey poo to be working again ROFL. Later, Dave

Listning to the G3 CD and was thinking it was pretty cool that 2 former Alcatrazz guitar players were jamming together. Too bad they did not do a Trazz tune as one of the jam songs together. Or even Since you been gone. Kinda a missed oportunity.

I just listened for the first time to "Heavy Machinery", with Anders and Jens Johansson, and Allan Holdsworth, recorded in 96'. When I got to the song "On the Frozen Lake", I almost fell out of my chair. The solo on "Attack" from "Engines", had a remarkable resemblance in structure, with both solo's being very unique in their own way. To me it sounds like both toggle back and forth from minor to major and back again. I was wondering if the solo on "Attack" was so inspired, or just observably so and a personal coincidence, hearing that Joe likes to toggle back and forth as such, frequently.

Mikey, the kitties didn't see the kitty wave yet. Figures, when I want them here, they're nowhere around. lol! I'll try to remember to show them tonight. That's when they stick to me like velcro kitties. lol! Oh yeah, I REFUSE to click on that link. The song is bad enough as I remember it. I don't need to actually hear it. lol!

Clarky, they did a parody of that song on MadTV and changed the words to itchy, itchy, scratchy, cootchi. Now those lyrics mean something. LOL! It was the funniest thing ever!

Bil is going to think they gave him the wrong meds when he tries to get back on this site and see's the change. lol!

GET WELL BIL!

Ovation1, hell yeah, a skyliner would be cool! I'd have to have it saying either "Fruit Suits For G3!" or The Forgotten (Part 2) For G3! hehe

Hows the Jem, sensai? is it okay?

hey Joe/Jon, the new backdrop to the t2j satch-scape is interesting, but I gotta say I prefer the old one. I'm sure this will grow on me though....it's just not quite as classy-looking. Not to say it looks sluttish.....hehehe.
Matt Martinez, yeah I always find I play best at about 10 at night, which is a real pisser cuz that's when the volume thing could start to annoy the neighbours! hehe
Eddy C, welcome, and keep voting for The Forgotten (Part 2) cuz it is an amazing, underrated, beautiful tune which I will see/hear played live! It's my mission.......actually it's my secondary mission. My primary is to watch Eric Johnson play "Lonely In The Night" and then go say 'hi' to him afterwards.
Jazzy Boy, you need to have a talk with Eric Sardinas? i'm intrigued, do you like him or really dislike him? I think he's realy cool, and he puts on an amazing show!

Damn right about Eric Johnson...he has the sound of the gods. I think he is WAAAYYYY better than a lot of people!

Yoda, Technical Difficulties? Ouch! my 2 cents - you didn't wanna do that mate! hehe
Clarky, speaking of doing crazy things with stupid songs, myself and a mate of mine (who is a pianist) took "Hall Of The Mountain King" and threw it into swing-time, and thus, Hall Of The Mountain Swing was engineered. It sounds dead cool, as does a rock-ed-up version of Pachabel's 'Cannon', so Orchestral 'My Old Man's a Refuse Disposal Technician' would probably work quite nicely! hehe
michelle, haha, when I saw "You are 962" i thought "that's a bit rude! I mean, we are all getting a little older but jeez, no need to be harsh about it!"
trutina, hey Bil and Miranda, hope you're both ok and you've been resting properly!
SOTD: Trademark ~ Eric Johnson (great choice Jazzy Boy!)
edit: Joe, I love the new album cover! How cool.....was it Photoshopped? however it was done, it looks ace!

Mr. Webmaster I love the look of the new site, and especially the background.
Do you have any plans for making the text float over the background, that would be cool, and maybe add some new buttons to match the tabs up top
Again, great work.
edit: BTW, I can't believe the link for Guitargeek is on the site.......they give you a general idea of equipment, but the routing for the pedals are all backwards, you can't plug pedals in backwards.

I just wrote a 2 1/2 page story on the expansion of a preferential parking district adjacent to my school. Ugh... Doesn't that sound exciting? Hahaha...

PhrygianDominant - What job did you find?

NewTattoo22 - Joe ususally doesn't have a problem with fans who take pictures, but the venues usually don't like it. If you can get your camera into the gig without a problem, feel free to take all the pictures you want.
littlewing1908 - List yourself as attending your show on the road page and you might win backstage passes.
s1220 - If you have site problems, address a post to the webmaster here telling him what OS and browser you're running and what your problem is. If he doesn't respond in a few days, try sending him an email.

Well, it's time for me to get some lunch...I'll finish reading T2J later this afternoon.

I scanned through the unread posts quickly, and it looks like myself, alexandrecaetano, Jazzy Boy, and TheBob think the color should be changed. Although I have to admit, it's easier for me to read now than it was last night when I was tired...LOL.

What does everyone else think? I'd go for either removing the "JS" entirely from the T2J background (while keeping the purple drawing), or making the "JS" a darker grey. Then again, if only four of us have a problem with how things are now, I don't think anything will be changed.

Any thoughts...?

...Austin...

Great new site! Can't wait to hear some sounds from the new album... I miss the option on the homepage to go directly to this talk to joe section, the pull down menu on the old site was very handy... And I'd love to see an update of Joe's guitars, the overview in the vault is hoplessly outdated...

Hi Joe

I am thrilled to see that G3 hits Copenhagen, Denmark in june. I´ve already bought the tickets. You visited Denmark in the year 2000 but not since, Why??? Your music really makes me happy and makes a big (positive) influence in my everyday life, so couldn´t you arrange another show in Denmark shortly??

Matt King - haha, I like that techno tune. Very spacey.

Alexandre - How's your father doing? Hope his recovery is coming along nicely. Take care bro...
