GODGUNSGUITARS- I have a cousin thats the exact same way and working on that same path. He quit school when he was young, then he went in contsruction cuz he thought he would do that for the rest of his life. well, a few weeks ago his he lost his job because they were not getting good business I guess. Now he's depressed, drinks alot, and has no job and is haveing the hardest time trying to get into even the simplist job cuz he's got no education. It's sad when I think about it cuz he's so stuck on himself and blameing the world around him.

Joeman9- haveing trouble with that Battle of The Bulge stuff ey? I can see why ur upset about doin it. Hell, if i were doin that, I would make a 13 page essay or more lol. I study that stuff for as a great hobby of mine, as u prolly already see lol. BUT, you should know how we got here, how it became to be. How our past shaped our present, and is the foundation for the future. How much we really should appreciate and respect the people who fought for us and ground we live on, even our enemy. We learn from the mistakes of the past and try not to have them repeated, even though they do get repeated. But it's like I say - If you don't know your past, you won't have a future. (no offense to anyone) You may not use this info much in ur life, but at least you'll know parts of why we live like we do now. I know this is not only Battle of the Bulge oriented but in history in general. so good luck on that project and don't give up, try looking at ur interest in the battle and write about that.

All the best :)

Master Yoda: haha Neil, I can see it know.... Clarky getting the interview and from behind you jump in front of the camera and say I'm the rhythm / lead guy in the mix, any questions??.... Meanwhile Clarky is standing off to the side with a funny grin on his face.... lmao man!!.... Hope you guys can work out the live shows of the Shredz!!....

michelle: You are so right about LISF!!.... Everytime I go back to it, I'm just amazed at the quality of it!!.... Stu looks so kuul and is just a great as JOE.... He's my fave now after watching lots of bass players.... He can reallly do it all!!.... btw, did you go drop off your daughters friend in the robe and pj's??.... What a riot!!.... I could see you dropping her off and ducking under the steering wheel trying not to be seen!! haha!! rotflmao, good times indeed!! ;-)

VFRrocker: Thank's man, and I forgot to mention that aircraft are my third love.... Family, Guitar and then airplanes, hehe ;-)

Joeman9: You'll work it out bro, and try not to get too hasty and say stuff like that.... People might think your serious and freak out.... Just do the best you can and it will all work out bro....

Happy pre-emtive 2000 Do The Stu!!.... Will you make it before the site changes?!?!.... I'm betting yes!! ;-)

mick87: I hear ya man, my eyesight sucks too, and those Sim's are fun to fly!!.... I used a 747 full motion simulator before and taxi'd fine and takoff was no problem (It's easy, lol, 200 kts and pull back on the yoke, whella!!).... Coming in on the Glidescope and landing was another story.... I captured it great (Glidescope) and when I got over the runway I was easing it down, and my Instructor was like Your running out of runway!!.... I let it down and the screen went blank!!.... The review screen came up and showed that my tail hit first, rotflmao!!.... Funny how a run / taxi authorization class turned into a flight test!!.... lol, it's amazing what a bottle of Johnny Walker will wager from an Instructor, hehehe!!.... ;-)

....All this Ice Cream talk has made me hungry....

Joeman9 hey man I know your stressed and all, here is some advice. this helps me whenever I work on homework. Listen to Satch! believe me its the perfect mustic to work to, no words to distract, just awsome guitar. its like listening to classical (which is supposed to help a person work better) only the music is more of our style. Yngwie would be good too cuase its a combination of the two. anyway, I will pray for you, please pray for me cuase I have finals next week, I dont know what days thouhg. also, in the book (or tv series which is out on dvd) Band of Brothers has some good Battle of the Bulge stuff, also, check the history channel this weekend, they alwayas have WWII stuff on it, maybe you will get luck. later.

Michelle. You should listen to the whole interview. It's qutie interesting. He may sound irritated because he was up all night writing. I don't understand why there are some negative posts. All he said was he thinks he plays too loud to play with anyone else. If anything he thinks it's his downfall, so to speak.

Joeman9 - When you do a pinch harmonic, you don't touch the frets. Saying "24th fret" meanst hat you do the pinch harmonic where the 24th fret would be (if there was one).

Flagg - Kiss is such a joke now. I saw them on their Farewell Tour, with Ted Nugent opening. It was a great show. I have great memories. Kiss seemed REALLY into the performance.

I refuse to see them again. Some of the business decisions Gene and Paul have made recently are absolutely disgusting.

TASTEY - I haven't had the Ben & Jerry's Oatmeal Cookie ice cream. It sounds good, though...I'll have to try it sometime.
Ya Yo Gakk - Those interviewers were worse than EVH was.
Jazzy Boy - EVH is a VERY good guitarist. Several million people have bought his CDs.

For the chickens and eggs / abortions thing, one of several differences between the two is that eggs aren't sucked out of chickens with vacuum hoses.

Joeman9 - You were given the assignment for other reasons (in addition to learning about the Battle Of The Bulge). Doing research, organizing your thoughts, determining whether or not sources are credible, and writing a coherent essay are skills that you will most definitely need later in life.
michelle - Those DJs just called EVH up out of the blue. It was about 8:00 AM CA time, but he hadn't slept yet that night...
Shogun Vai - LOL...is it a race for me now? Even if the site changes, I'm sure the basic form of T2J will stay the same. I doubt our posts will be erased.

Austin: Then what if you DO have 24 frets? haha
GODGUNSNGUITARS: I dunno if it's true or not but I've heard that those types of exercises can build towards arthritis. Any thoughts on this?

Ahhh......fresh post!!!

Hey all, busiest Saturday ever. Longest anyway.

Jazzy: considering baby chickens (chicks) only come from chook eggs that are fertilised by a rooster (bulls don't really work) eggs are not aborted chickens. It's more like eating a chicken's period. Now that is gross!!!

Mick: what's funny is that I looked at most of the photos on that site and thought they were crap. It's better than those pictures look.

The North Esk river is all swampy, the South Esk river lies between cliff faces, they meet near the cataract gorge to form the (tidal) Tamar river in the centre of the city. Two separate worlds collide, and the gorge is incredible. We were only there last night actually.

Not to say that school is the be-all-and-end-all or that leaving school early is always a bad thing, BUT it's so often true that people who quit school because they can't stand it often find themselves in the exact predicaments that have already been mentioned: low (if any) income (either earned or from the government) and blame everyone else (usually "the system") for the fact they don't enjoy their life and that they can't get employment.

Again, some people don't need to be at school after high school (or junior high whatever it's called in other countries) because they have obvious talents or great opportunities to earn a long term living. Some people are brilliant at mental arithmetic or maths but unfortunately calculators and computers mean there are no jobs that require that gift. Sucks for me eh. So I do further education to get a bachelor degree and hope it helps find a job that I can do.

If you are a big muscly guy and you live out in the farm area, you could get a life-time job working on the land, and college or university aren't really necessary.

climber: I agree about E\//-/ man, plus those guy's have been calling him for a long time and he knows them pretty well now, so Ed jokes around with them.... I disagree with Ya Yo saying that he sounds drunk.... The guy had cancer removed from his tongue, so of course he's gonna sound different!!....

Happy Birthday to Anuj!!

Do The Stu: I do hope the basic design stays the same here, and yeah, I want to see you hit 2000 just in case we start at zero again, lol.... ;-) btw, those interviewers did a pretty good job in my opinion, cause they asked some great questions!!.... They especially nailed it when Eddie was talking about Wolfgang saying (referring to his Dad's music) Why doesnt anyone play this music anymore, then Eddie paused, and one of the interviewers said Cause were all waiting for you Eddie, or something like that (I'll have to listen to it again).... Pretty kuul cause it caught Eddie off guard and seemed to ring a bell in his head, lol!!....

Drake the Snake: Yes, it's true.... The JSX is a reality, and I do believe it is already out there....

zonin: Kuul on the recording of the show!!.... Maybe you could share it with us?? ;-)

Just one more plug for the cataract gorge...here is a tourists sum-up of the first-hand experience. There's a Quicktime video on the page too. The bridge does rock too. (Literally. From side to side. Scary for little kids...and me!)

Hey People!
I have been to the bar again.....and I feel the Alco. Thanks DCK, Do the stu and everyone.......

About Eddie Van Halen: He is a good guitarist (up to a certain extent). Better than me without a doubt. But can he face the upcoming competition we have at T2J??? ummm, no! And thats something to smile about :-) I have heard more Grovie Movie, Strings from Heaven, Cubicle than any other VH song. And I need not bring Joe in this. Who compares to him?

Also.......The Egg thing. George Carlin made that comment on one of his stand up's. So THAT WAS A JOKE!!! The only reason I would be against eating eggs is .......because baby chicks are soft and very cute. I would want to protect them!

Pity how chicks are so cute but they grow up to be chickens. Especially the boys, because I don't know anyone who enjoys listening to roosters crowing all morning and afternoon. I know I don't!
