Matt Matinez: Marty Friedman for G3? Definitely! But Marty is a little cocky bastard! I am HUGE Megadeth fan but marty is just lost in his own world to think about important things like G3. He seems to be enjoying his J-Pop world, eating sushi and banging the skin tight Japanese Femdom. Good for him. I think Marty would be a great addition to G3. Any hot Japanese chicks in here to give Marty a call and ask him to join G3? I also heard that he is going on his own "g3" with ALex Skolnick and Chris Poland. Chirs Poland was one of the ex-guitarists for Megadeth and Alex played for the amazing Testament. btw, Alex took lessons from Joe during ancient times when hairspray was glorified. What brand of Shampoo and hairspray does Joe use?

Farting Gnome: Still no luck listening to Joe on my TV but my PC decided to get along with me and work.

Nice to know Bill is recovering. Cheers.

As for me, I am going to a party again

Mischievous what do you mean? anyway, what have you been up to?

Joeman9 sorry no. I was working today earning money to spend on my car, then I worked on it. what is going on with you? doing better with crap? (that being school stuff) guess what, I made $200 dollars today, I spend most of it on my car, the rest i paid my mom a little of what I owe here and then I bought some guitar strings and a new 20 ft. chord, good stuff

String g of course, I own it and the Fellowship extended dvd, I am waiting for the Return of the King. I dont even watch the shor version any more, the extended are way better, Return of the King extended is gonna rule, I am gonna get the regular though so I can watch it while I wait for the extended.

mari, Check it out at www.OldGlory.com. It's Item # 4OE27052. I was so sick of seeing all these cars with every vacation spot listed on their vehicle. I swear I've seen cars (mostly mini vans) with like 5 & 6 of these things clogging up their whole back window. Who friggin' cares when ya been man! lmao! On the way home from Ocean City, MD 2 years ago, I think I counted about 15-20 OBX stickers on vehicles on the way home. When I opened up my Old Glory catalog and seen they had one that read FU, I damn near fell on the floor. Best $1.98 I ever spent. lmao!! I was even stopped at a red light one day, and a guy rolled up next to me laughing telling me to roll down my window. He wanted to know where I got the sticker. He thought it was the best sticker he'd ever seen. lol! I don't have anything against those stickers in small doses, but it seemed like everywhere I looked I saw another one. Overkill. Knowhatimean? lol! As for waiting for the DT guys after the show...we waited for about an hour after the last show at the Tower. When the guys finally came out they RAN onto the bus, then the bus almost RAN us over. My husband doesn't want to do that again. We'll have to meet before or after the show. I have no idea what you look like, so you'll have to help me out a bit there. I'll probably wear my black/silver Satch shirt & my black leather jacket? Not sure yet?

Shogun Vai: Isn't it incredible how one song can totally move your soul?! I had heard "Say Hello to Heaven" by Temple of the Dog several times but never knew who it was! Each time I hear that song , it just blew me away, and I didn't know who performed the song! I knew it was a familiar voice! (it was during my hiatus , so I was clueless!) I'm listening to the CD again cause I love it so much! Just like the 1st time I heard "Life by the Drop" and "Change It"! There are so many more, but these are the one's that stand out! Telephone Song by SRV is one that always makes me smile! Rock On!

btw: I love the 7th Song CD by Vai. I listen to it while taking bubble baths. For some reason, I find it very sensual! I have Dr.Vai's set list from the Keswick theatre, 11/03 but a small piece is missing! The guy wouldn't give me that little part! Shit Head

Michelle: Yeah, I need an FU sticker! Thanks for the info! Our strategy for DT will be to hook up before the show! Most definitley! It took us a 1/2 hr+ to get out of the garage cause we were on the top! I will try to be there by 7:00pm. I will be wearing jeans and a black leather jacket, i am a tall blonde(5'8) , bangs/ slightly past shoulder is my hair. I look like a Swedish Bikini Blonde that could stand to lose a few pounds!LOL! My seat is R/C OR row PP seat 101 so I'm on the end. I'll get my cell phone nu. to you before the show so we don't miss each other! I can't wait to meet you and your husband! Such interesting people!

Hey Joe! I just picked up the G3 live cd and DVD! My mind, once again, has been blown... I was stinkin' pshyced to find that G3 was recorded in Denver, my hometown (I've always lived there, but I'm only 16...) . There is not much to say, I've been a hardcore fan since about a year ago, and almost own all of your albums (which is an accomplishment for me). The self entitled "Joe Satriani" album is my bible for guitar licks (I love the tone, the feel, and the overall simplicity on that one). On the other hand, my favorite one to just listen to is "Engines of Creation", right now anyway (It's great speeding music). Keep on Melodisizin' Joe!

PS- hi to all you other fans out there, you guys have a great taste in music!

....On the Trademark Infringement case....

I agree that Gibson did the right thing.... I'm sure PRS would do the same if Gibson copied one of their guitar designs.... It really does affect sales because people who see the guitar at shows might mistake it for a Gibson and buy the PRS version or cause confusion as to who's design is better.... Everything we use is trademarked, and cant be copied.... Legally.... Just my 2 yen on the matter ;-)

Yes indeed, Shogun...Marty is smart as hell. I have read several interviews of his and find him just as smart as Dave Mustaine and the other members of the winning combination of Megadeth. I think he would be an excellent addition to G3, if that ever happens. Marty should definitely send me some sushi from Japan for supporting him for the past 12 years. Thats all I ask.....SUSHI !!!!!!!!

Megadboyd: Marty is boring? In what way? I have never had the fine previledge to watch him live so I dont know. Dave Mustaine for G3.

Alexandre: Dude! I wish your music was out on CD! I really want to buy your music! I just played Grovie Miovie to a nunch of my friends and they were seriously impressed! Please....I am eagerly awaiting the Satchurated feedback! Come on, hurry up!

about the infringement thing: PRS needs a kick in the balls and So does LES PAUL. Its wayyyyyyyy too expensive to even buy their low end guitars. Look at Satch, his candy apple is selling for a really really decent price and without a doubt it sounds AMAZING, just like Joe himself. There is no better guitarist than Joe.......anyone have the balls to disagree? HA HA HA! got you on that one!

I am drunk. Listening to Love thing while my Girl friend does the dishes and cooks pancakes for me. Also beth......if you read this, please forgive me. Forgive me enough to do my laundry. :-) Is there love in space? There naturally will be love in space if there is love on a place called earth. Joe please please please show up sometime soon on T2J. My buddies here want to see the cool blue.............................

Hi Joe god ive been trying to find away to contact u for bout a year when really i should have known it would be on your website. What i really wanted to say was thank u for the music that u play and the cd's u make cos well without them i would probably not look at the world the way i do now. When ever im pissed of or upset i listen to ur music and i just feel happy again. Your songs make me think alot...... i think about what message ur trying to give and i spend some of my time just listening for this message. lol sounds stupid but i believe everything is done for a reason and everything has meaning. I remember the first time i heard one of ur trakes, i was on my bus home wiv my mate adrian and he had this track that he wanted me to listen to on his phone and i said yeah and he played it and the track was Flying In A Blue Dream and when i heard that i just went round his house and he lent me some of your cds. Everyone in my school nos that i like ur music sometimes people take the piss and say oooo van halen better oooo Steve Vai is better ooooo Jimi Hendrix is better, but to be perfectly honest i dont care what they think i dont like vai or hendrix or halen i like ur music i think its the best music ive ever heard. I hope that in life i am a person with great emotion i always try and do the best i can for my friends and family. But the thing that i hate is that i got told that if u go through life being a warm adn just being a nice guy u wont get anywhere ull end up bein used and on ur own so i was told. Its like i when i try and get a girl i always feel that there just gonna use me, i try to trust in them because i try and see the good in everybody but im never to sure. But well this may sound stupid but when i see u play on the dvd's i have seen u seem to feel really passionate about ur gutar playing and abot life but im trying to find what im good at cos uve become something of the world. I even tried learnin the guitar and i was told i wouldnt be able to do it and plus no one would teach me, when ileave for collage cos at the moment im doing my gcse's i wanted to study psychology and i was told i wouldnt be able to do it cos im not clever enough. I was told last friday i was told that my friend tommy gets more respect then me and listened to because he is more intelligent than me. But surley u dont have to be smart to be able to talk the truth and common sence. But ur music is so great. The only thingis ur cd's and dvd's are some what very scarce in england and in the portsmouth town center (the nearest town to where i live) its even harder to find ur cd's and the ones i do find i already have lol. Any way Joe thanks for listening, and thanks again for your music. speak to ya again later
