dragonchild: Your real name sounds like a moviestar, and "Dragonchild" just sounds really kuul! Mari is a plain name.

I'm behind a day in the posts, and I love the newsite! Kuul! Too tired, went for a run then went to Yoga but they move the class up an hour so I missed it! Laters......

btw: my Jeff Beck tickets arrived today! Yeah! My trip will be finallized tomorrow. I can't wait!

JS Song Tournament

Two pairs of songs are still tied. I need someone who hasn't voted already to vote and break them.

Click here to vote on each round (R1SA, R1SB, R1SC, R1SD, R1SE). It won't take more than a few minutes.

All I need is for one person who hasn't voted already to vote on each round. Please vote so we can all move on. ;-)

EDIT - I goofed and forgot to finish counting Leanna's partial votes. After adding her votes, we only have one tie left. It is in R1SA. Someone please break the tie. Come on. ;-)

...Austin...

Ahhh, more snow! It was 50 degrees today, and tomorrow morning they want us to get snow - somewhere around 3-6 inches. Could be the last snow of the year. Enjoy it peoples!

it always feels good play guitar. even when I have a bad day (today for instance) I feel good after I play guitar. its even better when you have someone to play with (the computer and my mom in this case).

Wow, I find a break in my strangely busy schedule...and it's happened again. 19 pages...

Site looks pretty cool. I like the new underlying images. Looks 100 times better than the old one. Navigation is MUCH better designed. I miss the drop down menu though.

And Bil makes a comeback!!! Hey hey hey.

Kayaking in Tassie? My word. Not as good as New Zealand, but it's definitely there.

Not to demean the Hiji Falls or anything, but there's stacks of those awesome spots all over the place here, and some of them are right there next to civilisation too!

Anyone notice that explored links on the new look are a deep blue?!?

Last five days thing: Webmaster excellent plan.

Matt King: hahaha Christ Peters I'd be very honoured to have a name like that!!!

.....oh man! today I was in class and I was thinking of this and I started laughing and I couldnt stop. eveyone was looking at me and I couldnt tell them what was so funny. they wouldt have understood anyway. am I the only one who does that? remembers or thinks of funny stuff and starts laughing out of no where? I also laugh and facial expressions and the sounds of peoples' voices more than the content of the joke or whatever. I do like what they say but I love how they say it. is that wierd???

Yep, it's busy. Sunday arvo the band played outdoors at a multicultural food fest. Hard work in the harsh sun. The sun down here stings like a branding iron. (Not as hurties though.) Didn't have a hat on, no shade, no cloud cover and I had a headache from sunstroke later on. Couldn't see for the sun in my eyes and reflecting off the (brilliant finish Zildjian A Custom) cymbals. Apparently the sound and overall "vibe" was pretty good so that's great. It was fun, and that's an important part too!

Jacob: Nothing weird about that. I start laughing about things in my head (not talking about voices...) all the time. Sometimes embarrassing...but I don't care in the end. Too bad on them for missing out on the funny stuff.

Joe has this to say: Hi fans. Great to be a part of such an awesome group of people. Hope to see you on the tour - Joe

You know I was kidding. Haha. Almost looks like the Joe blue...

wow! I think one of my favorite Joe Satrinai videos is the Cool #9 from the G3 with Eric Johnson. that is such a cool song, the way he does it, he does a bunch of cool, wierd, fast stuff. I love that capo with the hand and the wah pedal and all that, awsome!

Joe Satriani is the best!!!

ok, goodnight everyone....

I wonder if Ibanez will do anything for Joe's 15th Anniversary with them? According to Mikey at Vai.com, they might do a "50K JEMs sold" thing for Steve, so I think they might celebrate with Joe as well.

Howdy, one and all. I like the new site design. The T2J forum is now actually *easier* to read on my monitor ;-)

Michelle, I love the phrase you coined, "weapon of mass distortion". That'd make for a great guitar-related T-shirt!

Nice to see Bill on the road to recovery :)

WEBMASTER hey bud, love the new site. i give you extra points for being a Mac user ;)

just wanted to let you know the vault tab graphic is probably not the one you meant to be linked. the font isn't the same as the other tabs when you choose "vault" - i bet the graphic that shows is just from a previous batch of graphics you were experimenting with...i do that too now and then ;)

keep up the slick work! adrian / rustcycle.com

rustcycle - yeah, i'm sad to see that in doing checks the last day or so, of all satriani.com visitors, there were 1/2 million hits from windows folks, and only 17k from mac folks (19k from other than that, many of which were realplayer playing clips). more people should get macs!

anyways, if you see mismatched tabs at the top, you need to reload, since i updated them all to be joe's stylized font earlier. over time it'll all work itself out, too.

Joe, a few JSX questions.....

Will there be a 2X12 combo amp with 2X12 extension speaker cabinets?

Will there be a new JSX cabinet or will Peavey simply mate the JSX head to either a Triple XXX or 5150 cabinet?

Since I'm (desperately) in the market to get a new amp, well, aside from purchase price is there any reason whatsoever that I should buy a Legacy instead of waiting for the JSX????

:-)
