whoa... just heard Paganini's 5th Caprice. No wonder Yngwie turned into such a shredder!! That dude was one crazy violinist.

Cube - Good stuff. I'm really into Al's music... but I only have Elegant Gypsy right now. Have you heard Race With the Devil on a Turkish Highway w/ Steve Vai? It's better than the original in my opinion. They slowed it down a bit and did a cool duel/jam.

Artanis/Jelly Man - We usually crank it up at our church too. It can be a lot of fun when loud and energenic, but it's always nice to have a good balance between that and more acoustic oriented songs. But the best stuff is whenever God is in the house.

Shogun lol, or maybe do a thing with Griz like Steve and his boy on Ya Yo Gak. That'd be the real shiznit ;-).

Night all

Webmaster: when I try to watch the G3 previews, the QT pop-up comes up, and it "thinks" for a second, but then an error message comes up: "11001: S...not found" I can't manage to find out what the rest of the message is though. Could this be referring to the server?

JS JS: all I can say is thank God that "Up In The Sky" beat "The Crush Of Love" I hate that annoying chorus bit. The worst part of LISF DVD is the menu music. I mute it until the concert starts. WAH WAH WAH WHOOMPAH...WAH WAH WAH WAAAAAAAAAAAAH WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH WADDA WAAAAAAAAAAAH... It's so imposing.

Ovaition: what's wrong with Woodstock Jam? Cool heavy (for Joe) riff. That Attack song is annoying anyway. Yeah I was a bit disappointed to see the Banana Mangoes out. And BOO about voting off Brother John. I got 43 of my picks through to the next round.

Sammy: great pick for SOTD!

Right. I'm going to listen to THE TRAVELLER 10000 times tonight because of how mad I am. I'm also angry. hahaha joke

welcome to t2j, maryC

whoowee! i'm real used to playin through my slick GK rig (210s/tweeter)... but i don't have it here at home, so i plugged into the vintage vox beatle here. wow. or ow. both! lol. 412s but no tweeter. they certainly pack a punch, i can tell ya that much. VERY even response, though. it's really got me wanting one of those bergantino NVs now.

I just watched the gig seciton of the Steve Vai DVD (did I mention it's a signed copy? lol), and it's reiterated one thing to me: STEVE VAI IS GOD OF THE GUITAR. Totally incredible... It's got me motivated to knuckle down with the ol' practice again too, which is nice.

The verses are great, and actually the Time Machine version was one of my favourite songs for a while, but the really high pitched-ness of the chorus and bridge really shouts EIGHTIES in my earhole.

mick87: hahaha!!.... Woff woof woof.... Waaf waaf waaf.... Grrrr grr grr.... Waaf woof waaf hehehe, we are some crazy people here, lol, the little-est (hehe, is that a word) things amuse us!! ;-) And yeah man, Al DiMeola is freakingly amazing!!....

Artanis I: haha, lol man, are you a cough syrup now?? Ben Adryl, hehehe.... Woodstock Jam should never get votes on anything, lol, it sounds like a mess, or maybe JOE meant it to be that way cause Woodstock was just that with all the music and drugged up mayhem, lol!!.... Sorry about Brother John, that is a kuul song, and Eight Steps just isnt any comparison to Banana Mango II!!.... I wonder how many people really know the song.... Argghhhh!!.... Gotta dig out Time Machine now!!....

Master Yoda: lol man, it's good to be blessed with VAI isnt it, lol, on that rehearsal footage it looks like that guitar is just a piece of his body!!.... He is just super human, lol!!....
