Sammy Andrews - You don't have a battery inside when you're running it from DC do you? That could be the problem. Other than that, you've probably got a dodgy cable or there's a dodgy connection inside the pedal. If it's still under warranty get it checked out, if it's not - go get your screwdriver and a soldering iron!!!! lol

Ollyno1uk, and everyone - unfortunately, like in many organizations, there are a lot of crossed signals. to be brief- i make sure that i have confirmation on the info before i post it since i don't like people having incorrect info. sometimes some other sites post public info which isn't supposed to be public yet, and there's nothing i can do about that. different release and touring info is timed specifically by joe's management and i'm sync'd with them for making sure that info gets out on that schedule. you can definitely trust that i'm always on top of getting that info from them and approved to go public to all of you, though.

if sony/epic has suddenly gone up with sound clips, that's another great example of mixed messages and crossed signals since we had specifically talked about a timeframe for when that would be approved to happen (and it's not now). on the other hand, things like the G3 DVD webcast stuff happens because of our focus on making sure to bring you something that otherwise wouldn't be out there. so it's a bit of a mixed bag sometimes and i try to make sense of everything and keep all of the internet aspects in sync as much as possible.

but be assured, satriani.com will always have the latest confirmed info plus exclusive stuff about joe and his activities. if you see it elsewhere first, it's most likely something gone haywire that i'm not aware of and definitely feel free to drop me an email about it so i can see what's what.

ps: a nice day for a bike ride in holland today!

mari, it's a great cd. My favs on it are Home & Dance of Eternity. They'll rock your face off! lol! I got the DVD before the cd. It's amazing to see how fast and acurate those guys can play. The DVD tells the whole storyline, kinda like a play with scenes & stuff. ha! I just put the DVD in. All this talk about it makes me HAVE to watch it. I haven't seen it in a while.

Ahh well, now I can't finish writing cause the DVD has started and I can't type while it's playing. Gotta go crank it!! lol!

"...if at any time you need to come back, all you need to do is open your eyes......"

Love this DVD!

DELFINOPIE that guitar looks cheap as all hell my friend, he took that trem bar off a stock strat.... and did you see the part where it said "I also have it advertised locally and reserve the right to withdraw it from auction" which means in other words if he doesnt get what he wants for it he will not sell it which is against ebay's rules unless he sets a reserve price which i didnt see

YAMBOY nice day for other things in holland too.... you wouldnt be checking out any coffee shops now would you?

as per the ISLIS cover it does look cheap.... a better cover might have been say.... a picture of deep space where all the stars are tiny hearts there is some sort of alien cupid that uses chromeboy as a bow & arrow to shoot at the different stars...LOL....that would be hilarious.

Cube.ca - I'll probably order Guitar Shop when Joe's cd comes out... it's only 9 bucks or so on amazon.ca. thanks for the recommendation...

Michelle - lmao... moo-nah! It is Stew, not Moo? lol, my cat has gone through some major identity crisis', I used to change her name every week way back, lol. I just say Star Wars on the tv... I think I'll call her "Moda" now, haha!

Trutina - I'm lovin' Wired right now. haha, go for a nice long tear in the truck when no ones looking! lol...

Mikey Vai - He is the Satch of Jazz, lol!! The Stern weekend is going great so far! lmao... like Cube I thought you meant Mr. T as the "I pity the fool!", Mr. T, roflmao!! I knew you'd like Steve on the dvd!! It's awesome, and I love when Joe's playing Starry Night too. It's a nice groovy, mellow tune.

962 - Sorry man, I thought you meant Mr. T the wrestler! lol, I was wondering where that came from when you asked if Mr. T and Gilbert were friends, lmao... sorry man! haha!

Webmaster Jon - lol, we expect a complete review of your trip when you get back man! Have a good one...

Vai was very impressive on the Denver DVD. He has a very good stage presences with those he jams with. I have seen this when Mike was with him, and now with Billy, Tony and Dave. I have "Eat em and Smile", Steve and Billy play well together. I will be getting his DVD soon.

No one has any thoughts on the Marshall ModeFour head and cabs???

Are these aftershow pass competitions open to exploitation ie. people entering from numerous addresses? Was just wondering if there was any system to combat that, otherwise it could end up getting silly and people with too much time on their hands (of which I'm not one may I add!) could really make it unfair.

webmaster - I hope you're enjoying your vacation. :-) I could use a break for a few weeks right about now...

liquidguitar - The Souls Of Distortion is my favorite song so far... As far as I know, we're the only two people here who have singled it out as a favorite.
taz96 - On the LISF DVD, the crowd is chanting Stuuuuuuuuu, not yelling boo.

The Bospop 2000 album might be a bootleg.

Little Pete - Joe has never jammed with Jimmy Page.
Sammy Andrews - Is the adapter designed specifically for your pedal? If not, that might be the source of the noise.
Ya Yo Gakk - That cover would move beyond hiilariousness into cheesiness. ;-)
Museman - Shhh!!! You've discovered the secret way to win backstage passes...

I'm not sure if there's a system in place to protect against what you've described, but I'm sure Jon is aware of that possibility...

tetovo - Steve Stevens did the Top Gun theme, not Joe.

...Austin...
