Any Comic Book lovers here. i have a huge collection, i've been into them since I was a little kid. I used to have the batman lunchbox and shirt when I was in Pre-School, cool times.
I first got into Frank Miller for his Batman stuff, but he did some great work on Daredevil too, which I believe is his first gig. He wasn't the writer back then, I believe he was just the artist. I have the copy of Batman:Year One, which may be what the new Batman movie is based off of, and Batman:The Dark Knight Returns, very good books.

Hey Prez: I have a large comic collection, mostly all Marvel though. Somewhere around 2000 comics in all. I started collecting them around 1975- 1986. Thought about about selling them many times, but never did. I enjoy seeing the comic book movies that are coming out. With the graphic technology they have now, the super-human feats we read in the comics are brought to life on the big screen. Still wondering if there will be a SilverSurfer movie. Stan Lee has the exclusive rights to that character if memory serves me.................................................Clint

Mikey, both of us clicked on Joe's blue type. lmao! Glad I'm not the only one. lol!
Mick, my cats teaming up on me would be ugly. lol! Moey would hold me down with his strong 17 lb. body, and Stew would slice me up like a Thanksgiving turkey ~ and I'd probably wind up with those cute little sailor clothes stuffed in my ear! lol!
mari, the R&R Hall of Fame was good this time around, eh? My husband is a big J. Browne fan. I prefer James Taylor, but JB is good. I'm glad they let JB perform, as well as Prince & ZZ Top. Very cool! Nice they mentioned Warren Zevon a few times too. As for Keith Richards ~ LMAO!! That dude broke the mold for sure. There's no one like him, and that's not necessaritly a bad thing. LOL! WTF is that thing he wears on his head. lol! He sure was stylin'. lol!
js js, how old is your little sister? She's pretty funny!
Summoner, I love that video & song. LMAO!!! Hysterical!
UF Dean, thanks. Glad I finally got it :)
Alexandre, thanks, I'll check that out on the DVD when I have time. I'll write it down so I don't forget. Might not do it today. Busy day ahead. Thanks again my friend :)
gruskada, I remember the Time machine background. Looking at the archives, I must have joined in '97? That site is the first site I remember. A few familiar names there too. Some are still here :)

I finally got a song copyrighted, Please tell me if you like the lyrics. This is the exact measurements of a compact disc for those wondering. Its for my band "Balki Hasselhoff"
its kind of a silly song in the same Vain of AC/DC
4 ¾ inches of pure Rock
I have something that the ladies love
It glides in there player smoother than a velvet glove
Some girls love it, ….some not
4 ¾ inches of pure rock
It comes protected with an outer layer
Some like to rip and some like to tear
When inside, Ohhh what a shock
4 ¾ inches of pure rock
4 ¾ inches of pure Rock
It looks like nothing
But it sure is a lot
It can relax or make you really hot
4 ¾ inches of pure rock
It pounds at you with a burning desire
Rock so hot you’ll think your equipments on fire
Slow
Fast
Hard
Soft
We don’t know what you like,
But we know what we’ve got
4 ¾ inches of pure rock

Hey I just remembered something thats pretty cool. Around 1982 or 83, I was introduced to this guy, (Mike) who had just became the new guitar player for the band a friend of mine was playing bass in. I had only been playing a year or so, so I was full of questions because this guy was really good. He could play alot of Van Halen and that just blew my mind. I talked to the new guitarist after one of their gigs. I thought this is the lucky-ist guy in whole world. This is a true story of what happened to him in 1979. He went to high school with David Bertinellie, (spelling?). He and David were good friends. He just happened to live right next door to David. (Some of you may see where I am going with this). Well David has a sister, her name is Valerie. Yes the same Valerie thats was married to EVH. To shorten this story, David told Mike that Val and Ed where coming to visit, but to keep it cool and not tell anyone. So they planed how to get Mike to meet Ed. David called Mike when Val and Ed showed. Mike waited (he told me a 30min period that seemed like hours) and then went right next door to visit his good friend David, where Eddie Van Halen just happened to be. See part 2..............................................................Clint

Part 2:
Mike rang the door bell and Val's mother answered the door. Mike said he asked if David was home as his neck was stretched out like a turtle head looking over her shoulder to see if he could see Eddie. She told him yes and invited him in. As they walked around to the kitchen she said Mike Val is in town and Edward is with her, you know who Edward is don't you. And mike said there Ed was just standing there six feet away. Val came and hugged him and introduced him to Ed. Then Val said Ed Mike plays guitar we are going to be here for a couple of days maybe you two could jam. Ed said yeah that sounds good. Of course Mike thought Ed was just being nice. David then came and him and Mike left. The next morning Mike was home alone when he heard the door bell ring. He was still in bed. He got up and opened the door, there stood Eddie with a guitar case in one hand a practice amp in the other. Eddie said hey Mike you ready to jam. This went on for 2 whole days. Mike asked Eddie if he would help him pull a prank on his band mates, Ed agreed. The next night, the night before Ed and Val left Mike had his buddies over to jam, after they played a few songs, Mike wanted to take a break, they were playing in the garage. Mike kept them in the house as Ed and David went in the garage and set up Ed's amp. David then went around to the front door and knocked and came in. Mike then saidto the band members hey by the way I got us another guitar player coming to jam with us today. They we don't need another guitar in the band. Mike said you better wait and her this guy first. As on cue Ed busted up with Eruption they ran to the garage. You can imagine what happened next....................Clint

Hmmm...I woke up this morning feeling two inches taller than I was yesterday.
nisselon - One of the chrome guitars Joe used on LISF is Pearly. It uses Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickups... The guitar was stolen a few years ago in Florida.
Joe has a wife (Rubina) and a son (Z.Z.)...
alexandrecaetano - Yeah, I discovered that secret on the Dream Theater DVD quite a while ago...it's pretty funny. :-)
Jsbigfan - Hi...welcome to the site!
gruskada - I started visiting satriani.com shortly before the EOC tour started, so I never experienced those sites firsthand. I think I remember other people saying that Talk To Joe used to have a Time Machine background, though... I'm not sure if it was the whole site or just that page.
...Austin...
