Jelly Man - Yeah, my timing is quite loose when I play lead. I'm fine with rhythm guitar, I think... Regarding being "better" in a one-on-one, I have a nasty suspicion I might be one of those unfortunate people that suffers from 'Red Light Syndrome' since I can play some beatiful takes when I'm not recording. It's actually very annoying!!!

i am really sad, cause i realized that you are not going to come to Greece with the G3 band in this summer. maybe you should think about it and make some changes to your "G3 tour in europoe 2004" program. May be you should add Greece toy your program. Well, i'm waiting for you,me and 10000 more Greek people!

Joe: the new album sounds great, and I think the digital home recording process you've been doing since EOC is finally sounding every bit as good as some of the older mic-ed up in the studio albums like CP. Not to say that EOC or SBM sounded bad, but they still felt a little direct or bright to me, but this one is totally convincing tonaly from what I can tell. There's some definite Jeff Beck inflections to some of the lead lines....cool. It's gonna be killer!

Is There Love In Space?
Jazzy Boy - Ummm, no. A lot of people here were talking about how cool Prince was ever since he appeared at this year's Grammy Awards.
mischievous - That notice is there so people don't sign up for several shows with the intention of only buying tickets if they win backstage passes. This causes problems because some shows sell out before backstage passes are awarded.
I list myself as attending my shows as soon as tour dates are released. If I were ever unable to get tickets, I would remove my name from the list.
Stu Clone - Legacy is correct. The "Anthology" releases for Joe and Steve were put out on Legacy records. Sony owns Legacy... It's kinda like Aerosmith being signed to Sony, but releasing their music through Columbia Records.
gruskada - Yeah...I listened to ITLIS? a few times after I read your post and heard a few similarities. Part of the melody and an entirely separate part of the background chords sound like two entirely different parts of UWSG...haha.
I guess I can hear it now that it's been pointed out to me, but I would have never made that observation on my own. It's not that big of a deal to me...after all, there are only 12 notes. ;-)
sword1 - Why do you have to wait until you get a paycheck before preording ITLIS? It's a preorder...just use your credit card.
...Austin...

Hey Joe I'm banking on the small chance that you read this post. For I Like The Rain, did you do the same voice effect that was way back when on Look My Way? I love the sound. And how do you say "Gnaahh"? not being stupid but I keep trying to tell my dad about the songs sounds and I can't convey the idea of that song without a name. Anyway if you read it thanks. If not well can't say I didn't try.

Do The Stu ..gonna hit ya upside the head wif a big fish.. :o)
Stu Clone thanks I was hoping that an 8 ohm cabinet would work!....my amp is an 80 watt combo...2 12" celestian 70/80's ....they make an extension cabinet for it...but it also only has 2 12's... the manual does not say if it is min or max on the 4ohm ......it just says you can hook up a 4ohm cabinet to it or unhook the onboard speakers and hook up 2 4ohm cabinets...
Ethn I just bought a Traynor ycv80 combo....and the problem I'm having is with my boss dd-3.....the repeats come back very fuzzy and noisy not clear at all....and I did not have this with my old solid state amp...
Joe have a good trip and eat some fine food while you're in moscow, I'm sure they have some fine things that we aren't used to here!...oh, and easy on the vodka!!! :o)
I understand they like to drink it with meals, much like the italians like wine with their meals...but, then you should know that ...lol....

Joe - haha, MXC? When I went to Toronto this Christmas that's all I watched, the overdubs are hilarious! And ZZ Top is great! Hearing Billy on La Grange was an early motivator for me to keep playing guitar. It must have been a real thrill to jam with him.
Do you play any harmonica on the new album?
962 - haha, the Mr. T signature! But I totally agree with you... Andy is the most versatile guitarist out there in my opinion! Damn, those guys playing together would rock!
Michelle - lol, Skipper and Gilligan! I can just see you dressing them up with sailor hats, and putting them on a mini boat in the bath tub for the family photos, lol!
Mikey Vai - Steve's definetly a genius. But if you give Mr. T 3 months... Watch out Steve!! lmao!! He be all ova dat fool!! haha..
Clarky - Congrats on the charts man! Here's a free plug for ya!
Jelly Man - That was a cool little bass piece you wrote.

HI TRUTINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
So you did read my message right?! I KNEW YOU WOULD!!! Man, I know I'm REALLY late but this really made me happy!! :) I'm not having access to the internet very often now, but I try to come here everytime I can.... :(
Gee, man! You scared me a lot! So, you've been recharging, I can see! :) Well, you sure deserved some rest, but this time you took it too literally! SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK! Loved your first post! First I couldn't believe I was reading it, then it made me really happy, and then I couldn't stop laughing! lol! Man, I don't care if there's love in space, I just know Bill McKim is right here on earth and ready to rock!
So how're you doing with the "re-learning how to walk" thing? I've done that some times, cuz I seem to forget it everytime I drink too much... ;p
Now seriously, I sincerely wish you all the best, man. Keep fighting like you always do, we've seen it's not hard for you! :)
I'll keep coming here everytime I can. Keep us updated with the repairing progress 'till you get back on the line! (well, I think you're already back on every line, but anyways...)
Well, once again, glad you're back, and now that I'm repeating myself I better go and get some sleep...
Keep jamming! Glad you're back!
(Just realized it now: Sorry for talking like this, I know this might be the first time I'm talking to you like this, maybe because we're not that close, but I got so worried and I couldn't access the internet to check things out, and now that I come here at last I see you're back! And so words just came out like this...)

Joe: I't's always a pleasure to hear from you! I can't make
the Germany show but I will be heading to Sweden for both shows! I tried my best to see you in London and some surrounding shows but my work wouldn't cooperate! I'll be seeing Jeff Beck at Royal Albert Hall on 23/6 and will be heading back to the USA the next day. Oh well! I'm so grateful for the opportunity to see you in Sweden! I got help from dragonchild for the tickets there. G3 was the 1st show I went to by myself. My life hasn't been the same since. Ain't no stopping me now! I have some great photos that I will send on to the webmaster. I hope you get to see them!
Rock On!

And now for everyone at T2J:
HI EVERYONE AT T2J!
Hope everyone's doing great!
Just got the G3 DVD live in denver, The SV DVD Live in Astoria London and both Vai's and Satch's anthologies! I'm now extremely happy and also with no money left! :)
It was my 20th birthday on the 19th! I'm not a teen anymore... I'm getting old... now I've got white hairs appearing, hard beard and pubic hair...
Appart from that everything's normal! Next day I wrote my first song with my new acoustic-electric to a friend of mine who asked me to record something for a track 0 of his home-made hip-hop album. It's not a big thing (none of my songs is, actually...) but I really liked the sound of the guitar! It's an Ibanez Talman blue sunburst. BE-AU-TI-FUL! :) One day I'll post it on my IUMA, but I'll have to wait 'till my friend finishes the album, cause it's still a secret for most of my friends...
I wish all the best to all of you!!

Trutina: Great to have you back dood! "We all have missed you!"
962: It's about time KWS got another album going! I'll have to check on his site to see if any dates are lined up for a summer tour. Wouldn't it be awesome if Double Trouble was still jamming with him?! It would totally rock! I really wish I was going to the UK G3 shows mate! Damn! I love the RAH tickets, they are beautiful! I hope to have Jeff Beck sign my tickets or a CD. I'll try at least. Hang out a bit
before the show. A guy I met in NYC said he will be on this tour! Back Stage Pass Please!
Artanis 1: My favorite song is also The Traveler! That song just haunts my soul, every time I hear it! I never get tired of that song or any Satch song for that matter!
dragonchild: Awesome! Just get the best seats that you can! I think if I just send you AE Travelers Checks it would simplify things. Let me know, whatever is the best for you okay?
Email me when you have time! Woohoo! I can't wait to see Joe and Steve! I can't wait to see Sweden! and London too!
Hey, that rhymes!
