Shoot! Looks like I can't get the autographed cd, I'm going to try to call them. My mom's so afraid of putting the card on the net, she doesn't trust it, so if it's not that way, it's nothing. i'm going to see if there is another way by calling Sony.

Hi all,

Didn't know where to post this..

I think i found an error in the ROAD section info.

03 Sat Razmatazz Madrid, ES
--  G3 show with Steve Vai and Robert Fripp

04 Sun La Riviera Barcelona, ES
--  G3 show with Steve Vai and Robert Fripp

AFAIK, the 'Razmatazz' is in Barcelona, and the 'La Riviera' is in Madrid.

Could someone rectify that please.. Also, i want to attend to the Barcelona one, when will the tickets be available ?

Thanks guys,

keep it up satch.. you DEFINE music..

Mikey Vai - Domo arigato (again). You've got a sweet guitar i must say. Mine is a modest grx 70. Does the trick though.

jelly man - A barre chord would be like a power chord, right? I know them. Also, you're explanation before, is that all for one chord or is that a sequence of chords? I'm so confused. oh well.....

Master Yoda - How's the exam preparation coming? or have you already sat it? If not, GET OFF THE SITE AND STUDY. Damn fool ;-)

Master Yoda - Fair enough, but this site is a life saving drug. You just can't go on without it. Once you start on this site there's no turning back. God Dammit! hehe, So how is the study coming, seeing that you ain't doing much? ;-p

Mikey Vai - Amen. Yeah Amen to the Amen...... I confused myself..... Well, The guitar is good indeed, unfortunately it's owner sucks. Nevertheless you'll see my name appearing in the future. Ha, the next Satriani. Who am i kidding.... What's "good afternoon". Ha, you're my translator now.

mowlie_2000 - How long have you been playing for?

eta - Well, yeah. The main thing about this course is that you get out what you put in; if you don't put in the hours, you get fuck all out of it. But I've lost a lot of sleep over this weekend because of trascriptions, practice, essays, etc., so I had a nice lie in this morning and I'm just about to go and make myself a bacon buttie (loads of HP sauce of course). After that I'd better crack on I guess... lol

Clarky - No worries for the ticket. It will be good to meet both yourself and Neil! it's gonna be a good day!

Got my G3 DVD and Steve Vai DVD, After watching most of Steve Vai I must say that Joe is by far my favourite of the 2. I thought the effects in erotic nightmare was really good! amazing how accurate those sounds are! but not overly impressed with the guy behind the camera on the bonus features!

Hope everyone else is cool

Joe...I was checking out that "guitar geek" link, and it shows how you set up your effect pedals. I noticed that it had your DS-1 coming into the Fulltone Ultimate Octave which is the opposite of what Fulltone advises. Is that an accurate description of your pedal line-up and why do you place the DS-1 ahead of the FUO? Does it take some of the harshness out of the FUO? Hey...I just had a brainstorm....I have both of those pedals....why don't I just experiment on my own...duhhhhhh !!!! No need to reply Joe...I found my few remaining brain cells.

Mowlie, sorry to hear about your girlfriends grandpa. Honey, nobody deserves to lose beloved family members and friends, but as hard as it is, that's the dance of life. I hope her memories comfort her. Her family is together on the other side. Give her hugs for us. RIP M.B.

Ethn, if you get a tent and sleep outside, you'll be o.k., after all, all the spiders are in your house! EEEUUUWWW! Get the RAIDDDDDDDDDD!!

gruskada, WEBMASTER, I wish there was a spot where it says our name and when we joined. That would make things a lot easier than guessing. lol! I know there were quite a few people who were here before me.

Flagg, the DT tickets we just bought have a $8.25 INconvenience charge PER ticket, PLUS a $4.10 order processing fee, for a total OVER charge of $37.10!!! My sister went to hand me $80. bucks for her 2 tickets - uh, no, how bout $93.55!! Her eyes almost popped out of her friggin' head. Ticketmaster is a total rip-off! I HATE it! In the wise words of Jazzy - "ticketmaster is a fucked up little bitch".

mick, I can't believe you mentioned 'spoons'! lmao!!! This morning I was getting breakfast for my son. I got out 2 spoons, and the urge suddenly hit me. For my early morning performance, I sang Mooman and Stewman as I banged my spoons together in the tune of Spoonman. My cats loved it! I think I even seen Moey rocking his head a little bit. My son, on the other hand, just waited patiently for me to finish and get it out of my system so he could have his Raisin Bran. lmao! Poor kid. lmao!!

Austin, K. Richards is always fun to watch. I wonder how much is alcohol induced, and how much is his battered brain trying to follow along in 'real life' situations. lol! I probably saw that R&R HOF show, but I don't recall it at the moment. His fingers look arthritic to me. Anybody else see that?

mari, this R&R HOF show is being rerun on VH1, probably for a week or so. Hell, I already caught it 3 times while turning channels. lol! Good luck on getting your home theater system. We just got one for xmas and everything sounds sooooo much better. Lots of wires & stuff, and expensive cables, but it's worth it. Now go get that DVD! lol!

Bil, ha! Hmmm, now let me see...should I snuggle up with the love of my life, or catch up on T2J? LOL! Bravo! Your brain IS functioning at 100%.

Summoner, yeah, I checked out pretty many things on that site. Funny pictures too. I love that stuff! LOL!

Mikey, Rush in Rio ~ very cool! Enjoy! Check out the drum solo too! Hell yeah!

gahhh! SEVEN pages since yesterday afternoon! Sorry if I missed anything. I need a friggin' nap now! lol!

Tastey, I think it would cross Joe's mind, but I don't know if Prince would except. He's got a pretty nice size band. He'd have to pay all those people (with only 1/3 of the profits), or cut a few, which would change his sound. I think it would be pretty expensive to add a guy like Prince, although it would be very cool!
