i was looking through my documents and i came across this,
Please, Stop Taking Your Life So Personally
"Life is much too important to be taken seriously."
Oscar Wilde I, me, doesn't really exist. There's really only the we, us, altogether forming the ONE. Yet, we see ourselves as separate and uniquely individual. If you went to a play and watched as an actor portrayed an evil, sadistic character, and you felt fear and rage for this character, would you then hate the actor? Of course, not. You may well admire her for her brilliant performance. Your life is a play. An unfolding drama A game. A joke. An illusion. You are a player in the drama of your life. Playing your part impeccably, I might add. But how often do we get caught up in our roles and forget that none of it is real? Shakespeare said, "Life is a stage and all of us are mere players upon it". It is our Soul which watches the play. It is our ego - personality that is the part we play. Soul ,as Watcher, never judges our actions, our lines, our feelings. It only watches. It invites us to watch, as well. If we step back and become an observer of our own life drama ,we might move into greater enjoyment of the play we have created. We would be able to be more objective and not identify so overwhelmingly with the "character" we are playing. We wouldn't take our lives so personally. We would be on the pathless/path to our Awakening.
i am constantly finding answers to my ever growing depression... what can i do?

Oops ! . Joe Satriani's CD "is there love in space" is on sale at Woodbury MN Bestbuy store #15 ahead of schedule. It is in the store today Friday 9th April. I asked them why, they checked and found that the release date officially is indeed 13th. I don't know if they are going to move the CDs off the shelf and reshelf on 13th or not. There were about 6 or 8 cds there. Since I have already ordered mine with the autograph booklet so I have to wait for mine from the website. Unless ....

Whoo I learnt how to play "War Pigs" today by Black Sabbath, one of my favourite songs of all time. I've been wanting to learn it since I first got my guitar. GOAL ACHIEVED.

I think I'll practice it for a few days get it so I can flow between parts easier. Then I'm gonna learn AWMAWY.

How is everybody?

Well, I guess it is not a big deal if a CD is released prior to its release date. Looks like it happens quite often.

hmm, I was kind of stuck on Cat Stevens these days and I thought I won't be listening to the Joe Satriani new cd even if I got it, but this Cd is way too cool. Nice acoustic rhythm guitar. The beats are cool, very natural drums, Guitar playing is artistic, melodic and not very extreme shred which is good. many can shred. The ideas are musical. some of the special effects like the Whammy pedal are pulled of quite adeptly. This is twice as better than SBM.

Hi!

It's my first post here. I'm looking for some information on the Palmer speaker simulator used on the Engines of Creation album. Joe, was it a PDI-03 or a PGA-04? If anyone else knows, please tell me. I'm interested in buying one soon!

Thanks,

Akis

Hey Joe, I must say I am really excited about the album coming out this Tuesday. I listened to all of the excerpts and it sounds pretty promising. I was suprised that you are singing again on two of the tracks. The vocals are great although on one of the tracks I thought there was a little too much effect on your voice but it still sounds cool. I was wondering why you don't play a crystal planet guitar on any of your live shows? I am trying to get one and they seem pretty rare. Also I thought you said before that Ibanez would be releasing a JS seven string guitar. I have not seen it yet. I was also wondering what is the difference between the new JS 1200 as compared to the JS 1000 or JS 2000? Finally, why are there so limited colors available for your guitar line? It seems if we are going to pay 1500 bucks for a guitar we could get more choices of colors. Anyway, I am not complaining. I already have a JS guitar and I am quite pleased. I am getting ready to purchase a JS 2000 or this crystal planet guitar hopefully. Is the guitar that you played on the live DVD that was just released custom built for you or can we get one like it? (fire with the silver surfer on the back that you used on the Mystical Potato head groove thing)
