I am feeling very left out. Some people have already received their new CD, while mine hasn't even shipped. Not sure the problem with Sony.

I finally received my G3 dvd and cd 6 days after it was released at the stores.

What gives Sony?

JazzyBoy: I have never really been a Manson fan. Didn't know he had a tour by that name. I choose my "nick" from the title of a book written by Ted Nugent. I use to be here years ago under MARANATHA. Ted would make a great president. I like his attitude towards life, being a hunter and all....Clint

About Robert Fripp, i don't know much of him but I know he's part of a band and not a solo artist, so what is he gonna play at G3? Someone told me he sits alone and stage and builds up soundscapes for ages, is this true? I hope not, you want to be entertained at a G3, not educated, don't want some weird abstract 'new' stuff. Has he done G3 before and what did he play? Does he have a band onstage with him?

Ciao Joe This is Joe in Calgary and I just wanted to say that G3 with Steve and Yngwie was fantastic;I enjoyed it very much. Joe I was wondering if you'd consider doing a vocal album, with a singer or you could do the vocals. I'm talking about all the tracks having vocals. It's a side of you we've gotten a glimpse of and I personally would like to see more of it. I would still like there to be a guitar solo in every song cause I really like your guitar solos, and you must but together a band where each member has a voice that comes through in your compositions. I'm not suggesting that this hasn't been the case up until now but I really think you in a "band" as one the prime movers is something worth exploring. Regardless of where your destiny takes you I will come along for the ride when I'm able. Love you and your music Joe. Thanks very much for putting some beauty into the world.

trutina, yeah that was me who asked about you goin outside. hehe, that's ace about trhe little squirrel! My sister once had a ground squirrel climb up her leg, tho we were halfway between San Jose and LA so we couldn't really grab something to feed it!

That's pretty nuts about the boiling water/burning hand incident....you reall have it in for yourself don't you dude! Hope you're feelin ok today. Take it easy!

Ovation1, dude, you're really enjoying Eric Johnson aren't you?! He is one classy player, and Rain is a great SOTD choice! As far as ending-tracks for albums, 'World Of Trouble' is on a par with Dr Vai's 'Warm Regards' - they are both such satisfying, relaxing tunes with more feeling than the melody can contain.

It does make you want to go and do something nice for someone doesn't it?!

You got Venus Isle yet? hehe. You have a good easter weekend too! Regards, sensai

Zenfish, cheers, I'm 19 and have never heard any of his music. I did know his band was called King Crimson and have been on their website.... with regards to what his show will consist of, is it G3 with King Crimson, or is he performing on his own? I'm just not sure how guitarists from bands fit into the G3 experience, with 'solo artists' as such like Joe and Steve, having not been to a G3 before...

WOO HOO, HE'S COMING TO BOSTON!

JOE SATRIANI ATTENTION GUITAR PLAYERS - I am so honored (and incredibly excited) to announce that on Sunday, April 25th @ 5pm at Daddy's flagship location in Boston, MA (directly across the street from Berklee College of Music), guitar god JOE SATRIANI will not only be making an in-store appearance, but he will be performing! YEAH BABY!!!!!! Joe has chosen to come to Daddy's Junky Music to unveil the highly anticipated Peavey JSX Joe Satriani signature amp - you will be the first people in the country to see this incredible guitar amp! (for more info on the Peavey JSX click here -http://www.peavey.com/news/wnamm_jsx.cfm) Now, we are only letting 200 people into this special performance - there's a catch though - (of course there's a catch - it's JOE SATRIANI - you didn't think we were going to make this too easy did you?) You will NOT be able to buy tickets to this special performance and unveiling - you're going to have to earn it! Stay tuned as we will be announcing details soon on how you can snag your invite to see Joe Satriani live at Daddy's Boston on Sunday, April 25th!

BUT NO TICKETS! WHAT THE!

Jazzy Boy......Chicago sounds like it would be a good time. Unfortunately, or I should say fortunately, I'm starting a new job on monday and I don't think my new boss would have any sympathy for this Joe-fan. Hey maybe I could leave a CD on his desk...I always enjoy converting another soul.

Anyhow, I was thinking of changing my T2J nickname to "Candyman" since I'll be working a vending machine route... filling em' up with soda and candy bars. OK....so I'm either going to get fat or lose the rest of my teeth...but hey...I gotta make a living somehow ;) So that was a high point for me this week...I finally got hired somewhere...no more worrying about how I'm going to pay these damn bills...lol....Peace, D@ve

No need to worry, I won't be changing my "nick"...I know how much confusion it can cause...I think the last time I changed it someone in here blew a gasket.

I was at work today and I must of wore out my surfin with the alien and G3 in concert cd's. Just can't get enough. Joe put's so much heart and soul into his musid you can actually associate the title with the song and see pictures in your mind. My son and daughter play guitar and I think I will be taking it up as well. Wife lets out a sigh and a moan. LOL.

George.
