/\/\ark a billion thanks bro!!! :-)

Alexandre Yes! It was medium-hot and sweet! Very nice! Thanks!

Ethn I live in a constant state of confusion! lol I think it was Boyd who tried emailing me. Did you hear about that guy who wrote the Ninja book & was ripped off by the publishers so he put it online for free?

So how many T2J Ninja do we have?!?!

I even checked all my old emails in case I sold the Whammy but it's not mentioned :-/ wtf can it be???? Later guys, it's far too early for me to be up! lol Dave

DelfinoPie- Boston, Massachusetts is nice. I've been there many times. Although it's too expensive to live in the city, you could consider New Hampshire which is a stones throw from Boston. I believe they also have the lowest taxes in the Union. It would be unatural for the Bruins to beat the Canadians...check the history stats. Consequently, JOE will be in Boston next Saturday afternoon.

I'm going out kayaking for hawks tomorrow so that I can record their screech for some music inspiration. I wonder if bringing a small dog along is a bad idea...hmmmm.

Mikey Vai: Yeah, I'm bound to get myself into trouble with that one sooner or later lol.

Ethn / death cube K: I believe PhryDom was referring to the Meganinja.

SupaaDave: Vampire Tea Bags? LMFAO! The women in here are gonna kill us lol. Sorry ladies.

GODSGUNSGUITARS: Holy shit that's funny as hell! That should be the warning label that says "Attention Males" on that product. We might pay attention to something like that lol.

962: When in the future, do we make the great leap forward, and everyone on Earth gets along and has common goals like on Star Trek? That's what I'm waiting for. I'm ready to man the bridge lol.

crushingday62: Will do. Expect to have news relatively soon, say next few weeks.

PhryDom: I'm gonna be sending you an email within the next week or so with some ideas. Just a heads up to look for it. Gotta find time to organize my thoughts first.

The Bob & Noppa: Actually, Japan doesn't really get hooked up. They get fucked on their prices over there. They pay roughly double for the Japanese release of an album compared to what we pay here for our release. It's actually cheaper for them to buy our versions as an import, so to make it a little more worth the extra money, the record companies throw in bonus tracks.

JS JS: You mean to tell me you don't understand the difference between someone dissing you for liking Yngwie's music and someone being offended when you say being gay is a sin and that it's the gay person's choice to be gay, not something they're born with? Two extremely different arguments there. To argue over a personal preference pertaining to art is one thing. To argue over a subject so sensitive as this with huge sociological impacts worldwide is quite another.

YaYoGakk: Yeah, I always wondered about that too. What's the story on hanging out at 5150, Joe?

Alexandre: That's good news on the music progress. These thing take time, but it's worth it. And that's strange on Miranda being a popular name over there. It's kinda rare here. No wonder I love her so much. Her name is popular amongst the nicest people on Earth I've ever had the priviledge of speaking with.

Maire: That is so very wrong for someone to have to go thru that. I hope everything works out for him. To be raised to hate yourself is horrible.

marimariSRV: I've been waiting patiently for someone to bring up Sodom and Gomorrah so that I could pounce all over it, but you followed it up with good points about the New Testament. I'll just leave it at this: The inhabitants of those cities were thieves, rapists and murderers.

Artanis I: Hey, I'm the one that busts out the relevant (or sometimes irrelevant, depending on my mood) quotes around here lol.

PhryDom: Maybe your whammy was possessed and is running around killing innocent politicians. Yeah, I know, it's a farfetched idea. There aren't any innocent politicians. It's too late for me to still be up.

The Official Quote Of The Day: "Religion is the best armor a man can have, but it is the worst cloak." Bunyan

Edit: New quote. The first one just doesn't do anything for me. "An atheist is but a mad ridiculous derider of piety; but a hypocrite makes a sober jest of God and religion; he finds it easier to be upon his knees than to rise to a good action." Pope

The new album is pretty decent, but what's with Gnaahh (the name I mean, I like the song). Where did that name come from? Also, guy who dissed Summer Song and AWMAWY (yeah you spelt the name wrong) remember Led Zep are most famous for Stairway which isn't exactly heavy rock.

Strat101, yeah quite a few of us are going to Bournemouth. I dunno what you could do for a t-shirt design.....maybe t2j for G3! or something?!?

You know guys, we should figure out a place to meet or somethin, in the lobby!

The Forgotten (Part 2) For G3!
Joe, haha, way to go dude.....someone wants your new music in a movie! Personally, if I were you, i'd want it used in a serious movie rather than something that may well fall flat on it's face but hey.....it's all good, right? I'll be interested to see what comes of this!
Greyfox, i think it was the greeks who invented maths, so they are pretty-much responsible for numbers. Obviously cavemen could diferentiate between having sex with one of their own family members in one day, and having sex with more than one of their family members in one day, but they probably didn't think of it as 'one inbred, two inbred'.....they probably thought more like 'oooh, inbred. ooh, more inbred'

Who decided it would bea good idea to pick up a dry leaf, crumble it up into another dry leaf, light it and smoke it? Who was the first to discover that arsenic is bad for you?

Sammy Andrews, oh I see what you mean now. Like, Stu aparrently likes Mystical Potato Head, so you're wondering what Joe likes. hmm, interesting question. I'd like to hear some of what he hasn't released as well....I bet there's some amazing stuff there!
DelfinoPie, Boston is pretty expensive, but it's a beautiful city and definitely worth at least visiting, if not moving there. It's home of some of the world's top uni's, and it's only half a day's drive from skiing country!
Chris Rock is awesome ~ it's not guns that kill people. it's bullets that kill people. hehe...anybody seen that sketch? and the whole thing about making bullets cost a thousand dollars....haha no more getting 'caught in the crossfire' and I would shoot your ass....if I could afford it. But i'm gonna get me a job, and i'm gonna save some money, and then i'm gonna hunt you down muthafucka
jazzy boy, yeah i like George W Bush jokes.....I see them every day on the news.
trutina, haha, funny thing that. Aparrently, on the set of Star Trek, they have a bunch of scientists/theoretical physicists to ascertain the credibility of all the ideas and principals (warp drive etc.), and the only thing about Star Trek which they don't think will ever happen, is that people will live and trade without money!
Ceremony and The Crush Of love for G3 Slovenia!
Austin, about some of your photos being dark....if you have Photoshop, try auto-levels. It's dead smart. Not fail-safe, but you may be surprised!

trutina and MikeyVai: How much do you have to pay for a new album (cd) in dollars on average in USA and in Japan (Mikey you are from Japan, right?)? Everything is expensive here in Finland, so nowadays we have to pay approximately 27,50 - 29 $.

Some 5 years ago I couldn't find anywhere else (Europe/USA) these two jewels which I really wanted (Alcatrazz: "Disturbing the peace" (with S Vai and G Bonnet -> excellent) and The Dregs: "Industry standard" (Morse's old band)), but the guy from the store checked it out and he told me he could order them both from Japan. About the prize he couldn't tell me much 'cause it depends on many different things (currency, shipping routes etc), he only said that it can be even twice the price and he turned away (thought I wouldn't pay that much). I told him I'll take 'em no matter what the fuck they cost, just make the order! The cds came in one week (I was lucky they had a shipment just then) and the price/cd was nothing more than the normal price at that time here (~23,90 $)...shipping included!!!

Anybody heard of Havana Black? I guess in USA many of you have. These Finns could have become great legends with mr Alan Niven as their manager late 80's early 90's. At that time Niven was considered the hottest manager on the market due to his success with Guns N' Roses. Other bands that belonged to his management where Great White and MSG). As you can read from the "Legend"-section on that tribute website things just didn't go like they could have -> that's too bad 'cause these guys really had the potential.

Edit: on the "Grooveland"-section you can download some soundclips (go for "Lonewolf").

I'm just listening to their album "Exiles in Mainstream" which was produced by Eddie Kramer under Hollywood Records and was smashed by the critics for some reason? I personally like this album although they've got even better ones. Go check the band out, highly recommend it!

had some friends over for a bbq yesterday and had ITLIS? on and i think about 3 or 4 will be buying the album within the week... feel kind of bad because one chick is just buying it because of lifestyle but hopefully after a few listens she will start to appreciate the rest....

Austin- Looks like you had a blast in the last couple of days! did you go see TMBG? no pictures?:) that set up with dishwalla sounds incredible!

Anyway off to do some homework... hope most in Satchland have a good day....

962...yeah that would be cool... I'm sure Joe has some stuff that he jams to, just to warm up or something...plays around with...maybe some unfinished ideas or something like that....I'd be interested in hearing some of that stuff myself.....perhaps he may have some stuff from earlier sessions and since he doesn't like to go over old ground when he releases a new album...he may have some stuff just laying around from days gone by...

Joe...here's an idea I'm sure you've prolly thought about a time or two....sometime between new albums or somethin...a release called .."Satriani : the accoustic side"....put out somethin with the accoustic guitar as the main theme......just a simplistic fun thing, maybe 8 or 9 tunes that you have fun with on the accoustic....
