Joe, I've bee a fan for many many years now and I've purchased all of your music. But through the years as I've moved from apartment to apartment and state to state, and a few auto break ins, i've lost a few of them. Luckily they are all saved on my hard drive.

I have to ask, will you ever be comin out with a box set containing ALL of your music, including live shows? I'd be the first in line to buy that.

And while im here, why don't you make it to south Texas very often??? Austin/San Antonio. What gives?

mikey - last night I cut the backing track of the raft.. both the full mix and the backing track are double backed up and I did a data backup of the track.. it took 5 cd's to do a data backup.. something like 3.3Gb... jeez it took eons to complete..
sammy - your fingerings are spot on... don't forget the turn-around on the 1st string to turn it into an exercise that fits nicely into 4/4 time..

pitch no 8 - when the message is too long the site won't let you post it.. so I hit the 'back' button so that I can see my text, I'll highlight the second half of the post, 'cut' [Ctrl X] and post the message.. this posts only the first half.. I then 'post message' and paste [Ctrl V] the second half of the post...

Trutina....yeah there was'nt a lot of response to that one...lol....I'm guessing that a few appetites were lost when a mental picture was drawn...heh heh.

Joe....I might as well throw a question at you. I know you don't use a wireless set-up, but I was wondering what you think of them. It just seems like there is'nt a decent guitar cord made anywhere. What brand do you use?

Hey Joe,
HELP ME!!
I've got to know how you play so fast!
As a intermediate guitarist, trying to blast thru your solos, I'm helpless.
I'm a junior in high school and I'm hoping to go to college for a degree in music. I'm required to play two selections and I really want to do "Starry Night" as one of my songs. So far I've pretty much gotten everything down except the solo.
Are there any tips (either solo-related or otherwise) you can give me so I can give a stellar performance of you song during my audition?
Thanks for all your help

Hey Joe...

What's the deal with Sony (sonymusicstore.com)? When I ordered the G3 DVD & the G3 CD from them I didn't receive them UNtil more than a week after their release. Now here I am STILL waiting for "ITLIS?", even though I pre-ordered it as soon as it was announced. I bought them thru Sony ONLY because they were including signed CD inserts, but I will not ever do that again. They have these items in stock, so why don't they mail them enough in advance so I can get them on (or before?) the release date. Tomorrow will be 1 week since they said they mailed it. This is ridiculous! I'm getting soooooo impatient to hear this CD!!! How many of your fans does Sony piss off in this way? It would really suck if anyone blamed you for this & decided not to bother with your music. Sony needs to get it's act together! Sorry for the rant...

Haha. Should give my dad the almighty blues man a ring for a G3. I use piranha cables and they seem to be very good for gigging and stuff. They last well aswell i had one for bout year and half before i broke it.

If Sony mailed it a week ago (like you said in your post) they're REALLY on the ball for any online music store. Don't let them take the blame for mistakes that may have occured internally to the USPS. Plenty of people that are likely very close to a Sony distribution center did indeed get the CD before the official release date.

is there Love in space?..... is...''ABSOLUTLY PHENOMENAL! '' .......Am i the only one on T2J that thinks ''Searching'' is jaw dropping?...i hope not, as this composition is truly ''STUNNING'' in its execution and performance, given by Joe, Jeff and Matt............but then that goes for every track on ''Is there love in space?''..............Joe you were so ''in the zone'' on this album i can really hear the vibe cutting through so strong on all the tracks..............Gavin................

Ummm....The new album is teh ROCK!!!!!!!! Seriously, there are very few bands/artists that make me sit and wait for their albums to come out anymore. I'm talking the Floyds, the Zeppelins. So Satch's new album comes out and i'm just sooooooooooo happy with it. Let's see...the first song: rocks...the second song: rocks....the third song: rocks...the fourth song: if it isn't on the radio then the world is going to end....the fifth song: rocks...and so on like that. I freakin love the 10 minute song and REALLY hope Joe performs some shows in much the same way. I read the GP article where Joe is like..."this is how bands really play together" refering to that track, and i couldn't agree more. I think the fans would really dig some shows performed in that fashion. Understanding that not EVERY moment can be perfection. That's how Phish and the Dead garnered such a huge fan base...just jammin mon! I keed...but really joe you are the bomb and your new album proves that you are Hendrix reincarnated. Later out!!
