jazzy boy how can it make no sense if all you did was skim through it? that's probably why it made no sense. should I qoute all of your posts to show you the origins of what I said? anyway I just thought that JS_JS and Jelly Man were unclear in their terms so I simply put it in an easy to understand fashion. hypocrisy how so? Unless you are one how would you know? and besides how am I helping it? you make me sick and your posts are garbage to me so I won't waste my time with them. goodbye.
DTS good point I stay pretty civilized in most argumnts and this is probably my worst. I don't argue a lot because I don't say too much. I think more than I say.

hey guys question! Where is a cheap but good 7-string? I found a Schecter for $299 but I'm not sure because I've never heard of 'em and also my father says they're not too god. There is an Ibanez for a bout $330 I think it was but I don't know. Recommendations?

austin, 962 - "Stu aparrently likes Mystical Potato Head"
Stu hates playing TMPHGT. Joe's LISF comment was a joke...
really? i had no idea... i wouldn't be surprised if that's all there is to it, but if you have any info about that (perhaps where you heard it? maybe a funny contextual story? that sorta thing) i'd love to hear it.
joeman if you're looking for a "good" 7 string i'd really have to recommend being real careful around the budget line guitars. schecter makes some excellent stuff imo, but you have to get more in the intermediate range. same with ibanez. the budget stuff just isn't worth it if it's my money.
austin btw, well done w/ the bill/ted reference ;)
name-callers: cut it out. your arguments are generally so lame, it'd really be better and more productive to attack each other's arguments than each other's personalities.

be it for or against it talking about it has no place in here...I doubt Mr. Satriani put this forum up for all of you people to discuss this issue. If either side wants to bitch about it........go into a yahoo chat or something, it is incredibly disrespectful to post shit like that on someones forum that is soo musically talented...hes a genuis...keep all thoughts like that out of here im sure he doesnt like reading about it/ TALK ABOUT HIS NEW ALBUM ITS SOO GOOD

Austin: so does that mean Joe said the following:
"You! You're the one spreading all the lies! IT IS BOO NOT STU!"
If a homophobe is someone who is afraid of homosexual people (or homosexuality), how can regarding homosexual acts as perversion of the created function of sex incur someone to be labelled a homophobe? I regard McDonalds as a perversion of physical sustenance, does that mean I'm afraid of McDonalds? No way. I might be afraid of what were to happen to me if I partook of it but that's not the same as what the analogy states.
No need for flames, it's been quite clear of late that people who have said that they regard homosexual acts as unnatural or wrong have been immediately labelled as homophobic, Nazi, narrow minded, intolerant, fascist, rascist (?!) bigotted and other things by numerous people. Makes no sense.

Wow, long time since I posted here. There's been a lot of shit happening lately...
Here's the latest from NM HQ: I went back to Hastings for Easter to find out that my nan had been taken into a hospice on the Friday morning, as she had grown too tired and weary from her cancer to live at home any longer. my mum flew out to Northern Ireland to be with her, putting my Dad, my borther and I on 24 hours notice to go over there ourselves. At about four o'clock in the afternoon on Palm Sunday, she lost the fight - just as my mum and aunt were leaving the house to go visit her. So we had to search for the cheapest possible same day ticket to Northern Ireland for three people, which turned out to be a ferry from Stranraer, in Scotland. That same eveing we drove from Hastings, which is on the south coast of England, to Stranraer to catch a 07:40 ferry to Belfast. This meant driving all through the night, but we did it in shifts so it wasn't so bad.
The funeral was on the Wednesday, and it was a really nice service. We came back to Hastings on Good Friday, and then on Easter Sunday we ate our roast dinner and Easter eggs under slightly more subdued circumstances than usual...
On a more cheerful note, I landed a sweet teaching job at my old school - that means a steady source of income form something I love doing, which is awesome.
Last night my band played a gig, but the venue treated us like absolute shit. Check out our website for more information about that. There's a review I wrote on the website.
Also, we booked a weekend at a top quality recording studio for the beginning of May, so we're finally going to have some professionally captured renderings of our music. There will be an .mp3 file or two on the website, and of course I'll let you know when they're up.
So how's everybody else? Good Easter?

Mikey - Cheers, dude. It's a horrible illness; it really drags you to the grave kicking and screaming. But she was a strong woman; the most she ever complained of was being "a little uncomfortable", even though it was quite clear that she was in agony, despite the morphine.

Joe: Great response from the new album! Mike: love the Guitar Wars stuff. Now people will know why we like these guys so much. Schumie: Take a look at all who play: it's how you hold your wrist when you solo, as well as the notes you play. You have to relax, (some) to get that legato stuff. Check the t2j archives for more info, and check out Steve Vai's site. Welcome to t2j. Health for me comes slow, but I'll get better. No word on when I can wear shoes again.
My fave from Joe: that unpernouncable one. song 0ne.

Hi Joe,
Just a little message from a one off your fans, I just got done watching the new G3 DVD, and sincerely, it’s amazing…. Thanks for making the DVD!!! I learn so much from watching you play, not like my wife that tells me that she is sick off it. She actually likes it, but after I play a million times she can’t stand anymore…. I don’t blame her, but I guess she just don’t understand that I just watch over, and over again, so I can learn more and more…How does your wife feel about everything? I just ask because, my wife complains to much that I spend more time playing…Anyway thank for everything…Wow…by the way, we really enjoyed the concert here in West Palm Beach.

Are we still talking about the rights or wrongs of homosexuality? I'm fairly certain all views and opinions on this matter have been adequately exhausted. I'm gonna spend some time catching up on today's posts. In the meantime, I have a new subject I'd like to throw in the barrel for everyone to think about, that's slightly less controversial. I say let's bring back slavery, only the slaves are selected by IQ tests. Anyone scoring less than 85 is a slave. The higher your IQ the more slaves you get. Feel free to discuss at leisure lol. And if you don't like that subject, how about gun control? Just something else, please.

Joe,
Great job on the new CD. "Searching" is my fave. Best wishes on all those tours this summer, you guys are going to be busy. I can't wait till you play Phoenix again.
Your new signature amp...were you playing straight through this amp on the last [Yngwie] G3 tour [just the Peavy with no mods]? Your sound was so great, the clarity was amazing I could hear every note perfectly.
I will have to check it out at the store.
What "instrumental" guitarist do you listen to? I know you are a huge Hendrix fan, ZZ tops and even Deftones..very surprising [yet not!] But do you listen to any strictly "instrumental" type guitraists?
One more question. Is there any chance you'll do another stripped down album like your self titled? I am in love with the vibe of that CD, the drums are unbelievable, the production is so different...it reminds me of Extreme's album "waiting for the punch line" very similar striped down, creamy, dirty sound.
Anyway once again, the new CD is a beauty...take care mate.
