Yngwie he also does this in one of his live versions of ... a song from G3 and his Collection. It's some weird name with a lot of Trilogy Op. 5 Suite stuff or something like that. In the Collection it sounds REALLY cool though.

Joeman9: Do your next 2 post real quick, if you know what I mean!!! LOL........................Clint

Hey Clarky: It does sound that way, doesn't it LOL, but no, back then we just want to have stronger hands to play with. I do not do the strength exercises much anymore. One reason I no longer bodybuild, and another is I'm to lazy now. But I do believe it has helped me play better. It may not be for everyone, and if I had to do it over, I do not believe I would have trained the left hand as hard. As with all learning though, comes wisdom. I do not cramp up while doing gigs or anything, it's just that one exercise. Peace dude.......Clint

Sounds like the CD is killer, I will have to wait for the release date to purchase mine. I want to get the Vai DVD also.

Went to see Hellboy tonight, not bad, I love the comics to movies. I have over 1500 comics from when I was a kid. Punisher is next. Spiderman 2 in July I believe.

Looks like I may be going backstage for the ZZ Top, Hank Jr. concert in Beaumont, Texas on the 26th of June. A good friend of my is opening the show. His name is Chris Leblanc. His web site is www.chrisleblancband.com

Dang tried 7 times, and still can't get the link to work. Oh well its the right address, just type it in.

Chris's sister is married to my cousin. We are trying to go as Chris's roadies=backstage passes. HA, wish us luck.

Chris will also be appearing with Buddy Guy in Anchorage, Alaska, in early June. He has worked hard I am happy for him, he deserves this.

Austin: Sorry, educating Miranda on the tracks has been sidelined to listen to the new cd. May attempt again tomorrow.

death cube K: I read somewhere that Dave Mustaine threw a fit when Fender bought Jackson. I believe he wanted to buy it himself or something of that nature and that's why he's an ESP endorsee now. Who owned Jackson for the last few years?

michelle: You have no idea how handy one of those phone/cameras can be lol. I'll keep my mouth shut on this one. Lesson learned lol.

JOE: I really love the new album. It's a lot different from what I expected, very cool stuff. A wonderful blues based hard rocking album. I've listened to it several times and just can't find anything wrong with it. Not a single song that I don't like, which is very strange. It's possible all this praise is just because I've been anxious about hearing some new Satch, but man I'm really digging it. Out of all of your albums, or anyone else's for that matter, there's always a couple songs I just don't get into. Not so on this one. I honestly dig them all. Based on this, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is the most complete album you've ever made, in my not so humble opinion. So, kick back for a minute, have yourself some of that pilsner you enjoy, and smile knowing you've out done yourself. You deserve it. Also, one last thing. Was the last little thingy on Lifestyle a bit of a tip of the hat to Jamie's Cryin? I heard that and was like, hey, that's pretty cool. Anyway, rock on Joe. Thanks for putting out a killer disc.

I will be buying the new cd and getting it autographed in front of the man himself...cannot wait.

Also, I am having a shit tonne of problems with my Ibanez. Sometimes the crunch is nice, rich and juicy....at other times it feels like some invisible hippies were screwing with my distortion.

You know what I would like to hear at a G3 more than anything else.................Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie.

There's is only one way to rock for G3, and let Sammy come and sing it.........................Clint

Death Cube K Great track.

Trutina Yes, Dave Mustaine got angry when Fender bought Jackson. I guess he said he had talked to the owners about buying them, but they instead they sold to Fender or something like that.

Joe - Your Epic Records site lists Tumble as a "DPD Single". What is that, exactly? I've never heard of that kind of a single...

Wow...a lot of people already have ITLIS?... I hope it's waiting for me in my dorm when I get back there tomorrow (well, I guess it's technically later today). :-)

I've seen some people post their thoughts already...that's cool. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks about the album...

Does everyone remember how I "reviewed" SBM on a song-by-song basis back when it came out? I posted a paragraph or two about each song each day, and it took about two weeks to get through the entire album... Did anyone like that? Should I do it again? For this album I was thinking about just making a monster post or two about the album, but if people here really liked the song-by-song format I guess I could reconsider...let me know.

jimbojim83 - Thanks for the info on Tumble. That song sounds VERY cool... I like that cover more than I like the ITLIS? cover.

Happy Easter, everyone! Today's quote of the day is from an awesome episode of The Simpsons:

Reverend Lovejoy: "I remember another gentle visitor from the heavens. He came in peace, and then died, only to come back to life. And his name was... E.T., the extraterrestrial. [sniffs] I love that little guy." (The Springfield Files)

Well...I'm going back to school in a few hours. My spring break really flew by, even though I didn't do any crazy stuff (Or should that be "although I guess that's because I didn't do any crazy stuff"...?). Anyway, I did have fun playing my Urge II again... :-) Man, it's such an awesome bass...

Hmmm...what else? I also placed my ITLIS? order on 3/19.

JS JS - Okay, I got your votes...thanks.

PhrygianDominant - Old movies are cool...I don't have many of them, though.

Are you still regularly watching your X-Files DVDs? I'm in the middle of a huge marathon now...I want to get through all eight seasons by the time season nine comes out on DVD. I don't think I'll make it through everything, but it'll be close (mid-June, most likely...I can fly through them once I'm out of school). I started from the beginning back in February, and I'm in the middle of season three now.

Clarky - Happy 1.2k!
Joeman9 - LOL...isn't mowing the lawn fun? The mower my parents made me use was so lame...the bag only caught around 50% of the cut grass, so I always had to go over everything with a rake. Ugh... They finally bought a new mower a few years back...right around the time I went off to college and stopped mowing the lawn. Wonderful...haha.
Ethn Hayabusa - Your votes count twice, but each vote is only worth one-half of a point.
michelle - Tell your son to learn Black Sabbath's N.I.B. He might want to skip the intro solo for now, but the song is very cool...

How long has he been taking lessons now (just a few weeks...?) and how many songs does he know?

GODGUNSGUITARS - Make sure you have "quotes" before and after the address. I think that's the mistake most people make when they try to post links here.
trutina - LOL...that's perfectly fine. I don't expect ITLIS? to leave my CD player for quite a while once it arrives. I'll probably keep the voting open for a few more days...it'd be nice to have more than 30 votes for this round.

...Austin...

Clarky I got out before "trade training" (as they used to call it lol) was done, so I saved some cash he he... I was down to be a LING-SI / AN-SI with the Int Corps, not an attachment from elsewhere, although I did spend a little time in the JSIW... certainly an eye opener! lol

Boyd I didn't get it :-(

trutina go for it with the phone, but be careful who you tell! lmao!!!

A2K go for it with your review! I kinda stopped the x-files thing... first it was Adam Sandler, then Seagal, now older stuff.. I just have a short attention span sometimes I guess lol, and the new job is making me so tired I just don't have the time :-( ah well such is life I guess... got no time for living, yeah, I'm working all the time ;-)

...and I noticed yesterday that ITLIS was posted online on 31 March! :-O

later peeps... enjoy your easter day! Dave
