Joe and everyone else, what did you get in your easter basket???
When I was in high school, I always wanted to wrestle easter bunny. He was just so soft and fluffy that I couldnt help beating the shit out of him. I hope Make a Wish Foundation fulfils my dream.
Also, a pink bunny deserves extra punches.....then loot him him of all his candy. Cute in an evil way. ha ha ha.

Woohoo, I had a WONDERFUL 30th birthday yesterday, with almost all of my friends and family over to celebrate. I'd made my famous Spaghetti Bolognese and some ice cream for dessert. And I can't believe my great birthday presents - my friends must really like me lol. I actually got a dvd-player, couple of dvd's, a digital camera, a new cd-walkman, a drilling machine and a complete tool box. So now I can redecorate happily away while listening to G3-dvd playing in the background lol. Gee, I'm stunned... One of my best birthdays ever. From now on, I'm gonna be 30 every year! LOL!
Traditionally in Sweden, every five year is a "big" birthday (15, 20, 25, 30 and so on). 18 is also big, because that's when you're coming of age here. Is it the same pattern in other countries? I guess it's almost the same in the western world, but what about other continents? I know that the US has different age limits in every state, usually 18 or 21 I think. When you're 18 in Sweden you're allowed to drive, vote, go to bars, get credit cards... all kinds of stuff, except one small thing: you can not buy alcohol except in bars and restaurants. You're not allowed to enter the shops where they sell licquor until you're 20. Totally absurd. Swedish inconsistency at its best.
I want the new cd too! I'll have to wait for my next paycheck though, I'm completely broke right now. I'm really looking forawrd to it, the reviews here seem to be very positive, way cool.
OK, heading off to the kitchen now, got some cleaning up to do... that's really the worst part about having the party at YOUR house.

Ted Nugent was a big influence on Steve Morse, so he can live.As far as I know he eats his kills, and doesn't really do it for sport.Crazy fucker, that guy is.
My favorite Ted quote:(Said to some chick)
"Looks are fleeting my dear, you need a contingency plan"
Man, I played video games for several hours.Roms rule.Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden, Bionic Commando. My hands are tired.

Zenfish, Hey. Thanks for the advise...Unfortunately, the sound I have is my sound...Thats my thing...I dont try to sound like anyone...I look for what appeals to me...and my sound appeals to me...It just so happens sound a lot like satriani and some love it and some dont...What I do know is...the record is selling...meaning people like what they hear.. I try to create as many different genres as possible but am an Instrumental Guitarist. Again, Thanks....

Nuno Bettencourt for G3! Eddie Van Halen for G3! That would be awesome.
Only a couple of days until Is There Love... is out, unless the release date for England is different to that of America... oh God please tell me otherwise!

...man, you've been busy here... I took my family to ski downhill. It was a very sunny day -> you should see our faces. I've got a white mask the shape of my RayBans in red background. Would you Americans please join the Kioto-treaty for the sake of the ozon layer?
Got a nice eastern surprise from my brother: "G3 - Live in Denver"... I was going to save it after the coming G3 gig, but okay, I'll check it out...
I've read through all the messages from the last three days and only these are worth noticing (now that my brother stopped by):
IceZer: the picture is beautiful, unfortunately I'm too old
...for the band, too ;-/
dragonchild: Happy Birthday, Eva! Be careful with those new tools of yours ; )
gotta go now, at least I've got something to listen before the release of ITLIS !!! Take care, everybody!

Hey Joe, I preordered your cd like most of you best fans did, listened to it, you are unstopable! I have most of your cd's, and all of them are great! Most bands once they put out like two or three cd's, after a while some of their songs sound kinda the same, but none of yours ever sound the same. That is what I like, all of the variation and new creative ideas. Every song on your new cd is awesome, I have a few that I really like, but I haven't really listened to every song all the way through yet since I just got it.

you know.... Joe's approach to a new album is really great...he says to himself..."self!!... what can I do that I haven't done before??".......I asked him if he ever had trouble coming up with new ideas...because, I would think, that sooner or later he's going to have all bases covered.....I don't think i got really a straight answer,....but, hopefully he'll never run out of ideas......and when he has "done it all" and there's nothing left to cover,... then I'm assuming Joe will break "new ground" ...just as music has changed a little here and there over the years...Joe will point it into a little bit newer direction..and it will continue to be awesome ...

trutina a company called IMC(they are the same company as AKAi)
they bought the company from grover jackson in 1988 and owned it til fender bought it..grover stayed on as an advisor til 93 then went to washburn(its odd to me since grover was never a luthier, just an accountant/business partner of wayne charvel) after 93 the quality of the american jackson stuff started to fall...since fender owns it .. they feel better again....mustaine is a great guitar player but then again he was replaced by hammett ... so.... i think jackson would have gone under if he owned it..
matt martinez thanx for checking it out..glad you like it
zenfish thanx for checking the track out.....

Joe....the new CD rocks !!! I really like the title track....so groovy. If you have'nt done so already...I would suggest putting "Lifestyle" out as a single.....myself and my girlfriend and her two friends were driving out to a gig I had last night....and those three girls picked up on that song almost immediately. They picked up on the words right away and were singing along...bouncing up and down..making it hard for me to keep my poor Honda on the road. Just a suggestion...I think it would get major radio play.

Nice picture IceZer nothing to really laugh about ... you look alot like my sister-in-law. Not quite twins, but very similar.
DCK: Yeah ... He's gonna' have a blast. I'm also going to a Carl Verheyen workshop at the end of the month. Ever been to one? I hear it's pretty cool. -Cool tune by the way.
For all the guitar playing freaks: I just replaced all my cables with Cable Q's. It was very expensive, but these are the best sounding cables I've ever played through. Absolutely killed Monster Cables as well as the Mogamis, much more of your guitar's tone gets through. They sound much fuller and open than anything else I've experienced.
cableq -check em' out.
