Any of you guys who wrote some tracks for the t2j cd, got any song writing tips for me? Because I really wanna make some music, but I'm either stuck for something to write, or just can't get a good melody goin.

DelfinoPie- If you have a resource for scales, pick a new one and start learning it. As you are learning it, a melody is bound to jump out. Hope this helps.

Cube - No prob man...

Trutina - 4 cassettes? geez, junkie indeed lol!!

Do the Stu - No I didn't buy that version... I wasn't aware of it. I just checked amazon.ca and they have it for a buck cheaper than the version I got... lol... oh well, it just goes like that I guess.

One of the big Canuck tv channels are doing a poll for the so called Greatest Canadian ever... yours truly just nominated Neil Peart for that honour, lmao! Forget Lester B Pearson or John Polanyi, go straight to the stuff that matters!! lol, ;-)... go Neil!

Clarky: one word bro' FARTICLES!

Ethn: Yeah ... Carl Verheyen is a monster. I've watched his instructional vids, and I've had "Atlas Overload" for quite awhile, now. I was just wondering if any of you have attended his workshop. From the syllabus, it looks pretty intense.

mick87: Thank's man, and I like that vote for Neil, lol!!!!.... He's probably the smartest one too, lol!! ;-)

Oh, and: 90125 - 2 2112 - 3 Gotta go with YES on that one, cause it was a complete departure from anything they ever did!!.... Great album!! :-)

trutina: Hell yeah man on Gilberto, I alway's wonder the same thing on his music!!.... He could easily get radio play with some of his stuff and like you said, I think it's cause he doesnt suck enough, lol!! ;-) That Streetlights solo is amazing, and he alway's surprises me cause he can do it all.... His stuff with Mr. Big, RacerX and solo.... A G3 would really help him out!! ;-)

Clarky: haha, lol man on that bonding moment with your son, hehe.... ;-)

later peeps, off to work.... Gotta go in the lurk mode again, see ya when I get back, lol....

Just got Is There Love in Space? in the mail yesterday, and I've been listening to it all yesterday (I spent about 30 minutes dancing around the house when I got it in all it's autographed-ness [thank God for Sony's shipping before the release date]). It rocks; it's the perfect follow-up to Strange Beautiful Music.

I LOVE Hands In The Air and GNAAHH, and If I could fly exudes a beauty reminiscent of Flying in a Blue Dream. The whole album is awesome in its awesomeness.

Joe, thank you for creating this aural nirvana for us. It's brilliant and beautiful.

On a side note, anybody know if Joe's gonna tour in August, or has it been pushed to October? And will it be called, "Is There Love On Tour?" *hit with a brick*
