Ever tried sleeping on one of those little hospital bedside couches that extends out to a bed? For 5 nights!! I am tired I will tell you. Its bad enough the bed is so uncomfortable, but the nurses will come in the room every 2-4 hours to check on everything. I have had really no sleep. But to the good news, the wife DID NOT have to have surgery. She has adhesions (scar tissue) from previous surgeries that has grown around her small intestines. This at times causes a restriction and severe pain. She had to have surgery for this about 6 years ago. We where sure it was going to happen this time too, but with prayers answered the treatment they gave her was successful. Thank GOD.
We certainly appreciate all the prayers and well wishes from you all. Its nice to know people from all over the world are concerned for their fellow Satch-ers. Peace, and GOD bless you all.
Clarky: Hey thanks for your response to the exercise I e-mailed to you. I am a 3-5 on a scale of 10 on theory. Your knowledge on theory is superior to mine as I have seen from your posse forum. You are correct that this may confuse the beginner on scale patterns, and those who want to do the exercise should have the patterns memorized. I believe the exercise is more of a physical application (in key), rather than a mental study of the scale patterns themselves, if that makes since. What I mean by that is. It should be used for development of strength, stretching, and endurance for the hands primarily, and as a study of the scale itself as secondary. It is also a great exercise for the mind for left and right hand coordination. I still do not have the endurance to play the exercise all the way through. When my hand starts to cramp up I stop for awhile and then begin where I left off. It keeps me in shape. I can get about half way through before I have to stop. What I like about the exercise is it flows over the entire neck from the nut to the 22 fret, on all strings. That is why I included the open string notes, that you commented may give a minor tone to the scale, which I do hear now that you mentioned it. The exercise can be modified in many ways which I am sure you have contemplated. But hey thanks again. If any one would like to have the exercise I have it in tab, in a notepad file. But as Clarky suggested if you want to tackle this learn the scale patterns first. This should be considered an exercise in key, and not primarily as a study of the scale patterns. Clarky you may want to expound further on this if my explanations are not theorically (is that a word?) sufficient

hmm...heres something for you to try when your bored. get a cd, some foil, a banana, some battery acid, a light bulb, and some soap.
pour the battery acid over the banana and wrap in tin foil. put it in the microwave, lay the cd against it..the light bulb the other side and some soap near the stuff. stick a matchstick in the top and just before you close the door, light the match, and then turn the mircowave on...
then enjoy till your parents either walk in or return home

Joe looking forward to seeing you on the G3 tour in Nottingham UK in June, a bit disappointed not to be able to buy an autigraphed copy of your new album from Sony Music as they do not ship to the UK, would have really liked a copy, anything you can do?
Maybe play Rasberry Jam Delta V for me at Nottingham and do an after show signing.
New album sounds great, keep up the good work.

Joe,
I just finished listening to the new CD (thanx for signing it) and I like it a lot. Not just the rain, the whole CD.Did I hear a little bit of Jimmy in "Hands in the air"? Enjoy your tour of Europe! Tell Jeff I said Hi. If he says who the $%^& is Gaxx, I'm the guy with the Con Edison hard hat with his signature on it.

Hey Joe, Are you using any Marshall products anymore?
Your tone has changed a bit. I noticed on the G3 DvD you were using the XXX cabs. Its more edgy. It cuts through good.
How long have you and Peavey been designing the JSX amplifier?
One more question. (sorry I know your busy) Will You and Ibanez ever release another JS 10 (Chrome Boy)?
Love your new Candy Apple Red Model.
Cheers,

TASTEY, cold medicine? Lots of orange juice used to swallow vitamin a/c/d suplement along with sudafed or similar - a decongestant/sinus relief capsule.
Trutina, easy does it son. We don't want Brother Bil playin dead for another week. have you spent much time outside the last few weeks? If not....maybe you should try to if the weather's okay - fresh air and natural light is good for you. Take it easy dude
The Forgotten (Part 2) For G3!
Ya Yo Gakk, interesting you should mention that - we had a colege lecture from a guy at the IFPI, and he told us that in the last 12 months, the music industry has reduced in value by 6 billion dollars.....mainly cuz of people sharing/making hot copies of music and not buying it.
Ollyno1, what actually is the Buzz Feitin system? how does it work? and why do you ask? I know the Washburn N4 has it, and it is very stable tuning-wise.
Greyfox, i was wondering what that does, but hell, it sounds exciting. Did you ever watch any of Jeremy Clarkson's talk show? he did things like that on there.
for example....the christmas turkey cannon: Take a stainless steel/ally waste bin. ensure it is empty, then spray an entire can of hairspray in the bottom. Insert turkey. rest the hairspray-end of the bin over a high-heat gas or electric cooker hob, with the open end raised at your desired angle (20 degrees is good) and use a pair of bananas to stop the bin from rolling. Stand back and wait for the frozen turkey to be launched from the bin, especially entertaining if you have it aimed at the TV.

WOW. Is there Love in Space? was waiting for me in my mailbox when I got home. Autographed cover and all. I can't believe it. I am listening to it right now.
I am completely dumbfounded by Sony's music store shipping service. Premium shipping is really worth the extra bucks. There is nothing more I can say. Wow.
Joe.. this CD rocks. Thank you.

yes, people, for some reason the Friday & the Monday around easter are public holidays here.... consequently today is the official national worst day for traffic accidents! Everyone's chomping at the proverbial bit to get to where they are going at the expense of any and everyone lol... oh to be a traffic cop on a day like this on the M25 <rolls eyes> lol...
Hands In The Air: I hope it's one of the weaker tracks, that's all I'll say for now... later everyone, Dave
