Jazzy Boy......Chicago sounds like it would be a good time. Unfortunately, or I should say fortunately, I'm starting a new job on monday and I don't think my new boss would have any sympathy for this Joe-fan. Hey maybe I could leave a CD on his desk...I always enjoy converting another soul.
Anyhow, I was thinking of changing my T2J nickname to "Candyman" since I'll be working a vending machine route... filling em' up with soda and candy bars. OK....so I'm either going to get fat or lose the rest of my teeth...but hey...I gotta make a living somehow ;) So that was a high point for me this week...I finally got hired somewhere...no more worrying about how I'm going to pay these damn bills...lol....Peace, D@ve
No need to worry, I won't be changing my "nick"...I know how much confusion it can cause...I think the last time I changed it someone in here blew a gasket.

Is anyone else here planning on seeing him?
Museman - "Someone told me [Robert Fripp] sits alone and stage and builds up soundscapes for ages, is this true? I hope not"
It's true. Try to appreciate it for what it is...you'll really like it.
SupaaDave - Let me be the first to say "The Candyman can."... ;-)
alexandrecaetano - I hope you have a good holiday! :-)

I was at work today and I must of wore out my surfin with the alien and G3 in concert cd's. Just can't get enough. Joe put's so much heart and soul into his musid you can actually associate the title with the song and see pictures in your mind. My son and daughter play guitar and I think I will be taking it up as well. Wife lets out a sigh and a moan. LOL.

DCK: So I'm not the only one that thinks Cooley is sloppy haha! I listened to him on guitarplayer.com doing a master class, and when he slows down the licks he has notes ringing out all over in a bad way. He's one of these guys that gets his sound from the amp...it does all the work for him, instead of his hands.
About the Buzz Feiten tuning system. My Luthier friend explained to me that that system, or any other system of adjusting fret placement to affect tuning is a load of feces. He's in the process of trying to submit technical papers on that topic to a guitar mag.

Austin: I now have a plan. I'm going to do it at night, outside in the driveway for a few reasons. 1. Gotta see the sparks. 2. Don't want to burn down the house, still not allowed to touch anything in there that plugs in except for the refrigerator. 3. Don't want house to smell funny. 4. Less likely to be busted by Miranda. 5. Another reason for neighbors to think I'm insane. The dog and I found three yard sales going on in the neighborhood and not one of them had a microwave! I'll find one though, don't you worry.
Mikey Vai: I knew it! The elf's oatmeal pours slowly when mixed with automatic transmission fluid on partly cloudy Tuesday afternoons if it's the equinox.
SupaaDave: Thanks man, I do my best, and thanks for the happy 900. Happy belated 700 to you. And congrats on the job man, that's great news. Are any of the candy bars SupaaSized? lol
TASTEY: Well, no one can figure me out, cause I'm me lol. Actually, it's kinda strange. I have a very small tumor in my brain that they've been watching, checking for growth and all that. The guy I went to for a second opinion says that the tumor may or may not have anything to do with what's up. The area that it's in doesn't jive with my symptoms. He also says that when I went thru this four years ago, there was no tumor present in any of the MRI's, so who the hell knows. The first doctor is all about doing radiation treatment, but I'm not so sure about that. That shit will fry your brain, so I've been going with the medication the second doctor gave me. Of course he's the one that gave me the shit that put me in a coma. So I'm kinda between a rock and a hard place. Or a quack and a jackass. The only thing the two agree on is that it isn't cancerous. On a lighter note, the squirrel has been hanging around the front yard all day long. I thought he might come with me on my microwave hunt, but the dog wouldn't have it. Oh well. I think Miranda is up front now, trying to catch him or something. If she brings him inside, there's gonna be trouble lol. I'll tell her your story so that we don't become the wildlife refuge for squirrels. We already feed rabbits and birds, now squirrels.
Powerslave: LOL, yeah that wouldn't be very good at all. I won't be trusting that little dude at all now lol.
IceZer: Nothing at all wrong with that picture. I listened to your clips too, nice stuff, I like it.
Joeman9: Imagination? No, that's what really happened lol!
death cube K: Did I read that right? You said, "some Peavey amps are pretty cool.." I'm shocked man! I've never heard you say anything good about them before lol.
Jazzy Boy: Neither of those teas. Long Island Iced Tea is what you need.
Zinc Master: This is the first time I've ordered from Sony, so I don't know much. From what everyone said about the G3 cds and dvds the shipping schedule was just as funky.
GODSGUNSGUITARS: I saw a show on celebrity pets that had the Nuge on it. The showed him out in his private wildlife refuge running with his buffalo. It was pretty cool.
962: Thanks man, I'm doing all right. The boiling water thing definitely taught me a lesson. If the water heater is broken, then take a shower at a buddies or something lol.
Zenfish: Well said on Fripp. The man is awesome. These youngins are in for a very nice surprise I think.

Dave: no prob man haha Don't make such a big deal of it...I just bought some music I thought I'd like ;) Austin: I'm waiting as well. Listened to a few of the previews from Sony, but I didn't listen to the whole song that was posted and I'm waiting on all but like 3 of the songs. That being said, no email for me. Guess those bastards will be sending it late just like the G3 stuff. Mikey Vai...great song. I heard that version of I'm Like a Bird a year or 2 ago. Loved it then and still do. About low posting: I have 3 papers to write this week, none of which are in English, hence the lack of free time.

It's so ironic that, because my brother is going to Europe soon, he has a much better chance to go see G3, Jeff Beck or Yes than I've ever had. So ironic, because he doesn't listen to that stuff...hum...
Mikey Vai - it was a good gig eh, lmao! And right on w/ the EJ song! Rain is my favorite on Live and Beyond at the moment!
Michelle - Lederhosen? Don't make me get out me dictionary!! hmm... *small, leather shorts often with suspenders... :-\... lmao, I think I would be the one getting my ass kicked if I wore those!! lol
Eric Johnson or Andy Timmons for G3!!
