Greyfox lol, that was the only place on my good places list anyway.
Im going to have to live in this sh*tty area unless you guys can think of a way out, but I need to stay close, so staying in Birmingham (even though I hate it) is a must because its close to Staffordshire Uni.
After I have graduated Uni, I can go into game design which is a 4 year couse then after another 2 years or so I should be able to pay off my student load...after another 2 years....I'm probably going to be able to buy a house...so I'm stuck here for atleast another 8 years :-(.
Please guys I need more suggestions, this is getting on top of me.

Hi Joe; Love the new album! In some ways it seems like "Strange Beautiful Music", part 2. But that's not a bad thing. I have enjoyed the direction your music has gone over the last 4 years or so. It's helping to make me a better guitarist because of all the different approaches you're exploring. I look forward to seeing you Sunday in Dallas. Thanks for all your work and music.

delfino, there is a way. play like mad, have gigs and band practises everyday or at leats once a week. make them good gigs become well known. take birminham by storm, soon u'll get a jaaaaeeerrrb/ job and loadsa a gig, get enough money and go and perform for a week in london, take london by storm, make first cd/album or single, be famous and rock the world! and see who's laughing. lol.. or... fake ure own death and move to devon. lol, devon is good ya know. i wouldn't fake ure own death though...... the fake own death thing is a joke so don't take it seriously and get me done for helping with suicide and get me locked up and not play guitar and come out wen i'm ol and wrinkly and forget how to play guitar coz if that happened i'll have to fake my death too and run away to devon... lol and don't think of faking ure own death so i run and fake my own death.

Hey Joe...I couldn't believe that the d-day was here today! I kept listening to the clips on the web site but it was kind of frustrating...a good frustration though...I've been listening to your music since 1996, and I was always excited before the release of your new records...Is there love in space? is definately an awesome album, I was glad to hear all the tunes that make your style unique! and of course amazed by the new guitar sounds you brought in...I can't wait to see you in July in Paris...It'have always been my dream to see you on stage! hope my dream will come true! keep on rocking in space!

Greyfox Thats been my only way of keep myself happy, playing the guitar. I will need to fnd a band obviously and get good enough to play gigs, Hopefully I will be out of Birmingham soon...I can't believe how down I am over this.
I'm going out with friends for the first time in ages on Friday, I'm going to Wolverhampton by train, when I get back from the club I'm going to I'm going to have to walk through this place at midnight or there abouts...thats going to suck. My heart will be going a mile a minute, I hope nothing happens but I'm almost certain that it will...

Tomjr, I've been coming to this forum for one year now, and during this period I have seen the English language being murdered several times here, most often by native english speakers like you. So what's the point?
Is there Is There Love In Space? in the stores here where I live? Noooo, and this sucks!

Agree with you Quito. Tomjr...murder the english language huh? Get your ass out of your bed and exprience the real world. So how many countries have you been other than the US? I am not saying that everyone needs to get out of the country to experience diversity, but in your case, I doubt you have been anywhere else. And then you go on to comment about someone else's English.......and yes, Hawaii is in the US.
Do the Stu has obtained Nerd status. lol!

stu clone - happy 1234... and I'm right behind yer.. lol
mikey - haa.. guess what.. I'm still wrestling with the mix of the Raft... I had to lay off it for a while.. poxy day job getting in the way and all.. so tonight I did a great mix... one problem though.. I was driving the mixing desk too hard so there's a little distortion on the mix.. I suspect that the distortion is coming from just one or two instruments.. the plan is to drop the level of everything by a couple of notches and wind up the overall level a touch so that it peaks around -2dB and has an avarage peak around -4dB... this'll leave plenty of headroom for cranking it up to 0dB with the compressors during mastering... fingers crossed that mix: #15 will finally be the one... this is doing my head in.. lol..

Hey Peoples... if you are interested in listening to Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush's complete music catalogue in its entirety, then hop on over to "mahoganyrush.com" and give a listen. Nothing to download, just click on the audio MP3 player selection. It's OK, as the site has Frank's full permission. Use headphones for the best results. (Joe... I do not mean this as a distraction from your site and your music. You will always be one of my favorite guitarists, no matter what. Heck, if you get a chance, take an e-trip over there yourself. Frank is still that good, and has gotten even better with age!) Right now as we speak, I'm listening to Franks latest CD entitled, "Eye of the Storm". Damn Good! See Ya Soon! zzzzzzzzzzzz tetra

i haven't really read what other people have written about the new disc yet, but i picked it up today and got to listen to a little bit at work (wasn't exactly an environment conducive to critical listening) but now i'm at home and i have popped the disc in for some good thorough listens! So far I like the cool weirdness of Gnaahh (i like weird rock), up in flames is really great, makes me bob my head, and I am really enjoying hands in the air, cool 7 string riff and i love that chorus with the bar of 3 in there... looking forward to the rest of the CD! Thanks for consistently putting out new material for us to listen to, joe. Always trying to push boundaries and i really respect that.

found it thanks webmaster.
Hi my name is Freddy(aka bluebuffalo), and I'm a habitual satchaholic. I have something to share with you all. It all started in 1989 I was cruisin & partying at South Padre Island in Texas, that's when I heard surfin on the X. It felt real good so I went and found the dealer of his drug and bought the cassette, I was firing it up so much that by the end of the year the writing had faded, I had even taped it together with scotch tape after it got eaten by my player, So I continued to go back to the dealers for more of my fix all on cassette, then I graduated to harder methods, I bought a home stereo with a Cd player, being the addict that I am I bought all the CD's up to that point noe, swta, fiabd, tm, the new one was time machine, I would play them all one right after the other. Then I had a breakthrough, I came out of the closet with my addiction to satch fixes. But by this time I was out of control and I didn't care. I tried the rest, nirvana, ozzy, motley, van halen, SRV, all the topical stuff at that time. But it just wouldn't do it for me. And alot of it still doesn't, About 3 years ago on the EOC tour I got to meet my cause of addictions and realized why I was,am and will be a satchaholic for many years to come. Joe just F*%*ING rocks my ass off, I'm going to give myself the gift of more satch this christmas, I already have the satch tapes on VHS, and all ot the fixes on the new released essential fixes but what the F. I'm an addict and reason goes out the window, that's my story, in fact I'm about to listen to SBM just cause I have a craving. I would like to read your story. Thanks JOE, blue buffalo *UPDATE 4-13-04* I have more share with everyone, since the SBM tour, I went back for even more "fixes" at the G3 tour, again this time I got to meet the Satch man himself, only this time he brought friends, (Steve & Yngwie), which only fed my cravigs for satch fixes, bought Rocking in the free world Cd & DVD, the Anthology set, and Now I'm headed for space, UP IN FLAMES, WITH HANDS IN THE AIR, I know that if don't changed my "LIFESTYLE WO OH", I might not find out IF THERE IS LOVE IN SPACE, only IF I COULD FLY, THE SOULS OF DISTORTION, might feed my cravings for satch fixes, JUST LOOK UP, if you LIKE THE RAIN, I've been SEARCHING for a cure to cure my satch addiction all I keep coming up with is, that I need more fixes unless someone hits me on the head with BAMBOO, in which case I might be SLEEPWALKING, or FLYING IN A BLUE DREAM, SURFIN WITH THE ALIEN, see what I mean I am a SATCHAHOLIC. :)

and then you GNAAHH no way that can't happen LOL!
question for all!: how did you become Satch fans and Satchaholics?
I was walking downstairs one day getting ready to play my brand new guitar(got it yesterday) and then I see my dad playing along pretty well with STWA and I just said whoa... I couldn't say anything else I was just like man that's awesome who was that!? and my dad smiled and says that my friend is Joe Satriani someone I always hoped to play like. And I was just totally taken from there never put Satch down after that. My father's tape of STWA and his Joe Satriani and NOTE cd's constantly spinnin' It was crazy and then I see"satriani.com" and here I am
