What up Joe,
I just got your new disc from the UPS guy that delivered it to me. It has been in my CD player for the past 2 hours. I can't stop listening to it! You Rock Joe! I have been trying to play pentatonic minor and major, and mixolydian alot more when I am jaming with my band. It reminds me of when you rip some of those kick ass solos that you do. I am so excited after listening to Up In Flames. It just makes me want to pick up my guitar and rock out. Thanks Joe!!!!!!!

Every song rocks. My favorite song from the new album is up in flames. Every album is a success. I've been a Satch fan since '88. Satch is my most influential guitarst out there. But I could never do what he does.

Thanks for the response! Do any of you think this will be his only tour this year? I was just wondering because If i didnt have enough cash for both concerts Id rather go to a solo satch concert rather than a small 45 min gig. Thanks again and btw, the new cd rocks!!!

TomJr: Kiss my ass dude. You were making fun of his english. That was a little too harsh and I am offended. I know several people in the world who cannot speak proper english and then there are some dicks making fun of them and bringing them down to a point of shame. So fuck you. I bet your spanish works perfect only for calling a spanish Hooker.
Mikanaro--always nice to have new posters that murder the English language with their negative reviews.
I teach English to African children who escaped from unstable African countries and nothing pisses me to off to see suburban idiots who have got everything in their lives ripping on the less fortunate.
Phrydom: Hows it goin? Are you Phrygian Dominant? Dave??? And dont call me a troll next time. lol!

Joeman9...thanks for not taking offense at my words...no unwanted advice given or offered....I understand your dislike of school....very few people actually do like it... it is no fun.....kinda like practicing scales over and over for days or weeks tryin to get em down pat...doesn't take long to get under yer skin so to speak ....you get to the point of hating em...lol...but, the payoff comes in the long haul...
Icezer ..I'm not sure if the chat is still werkin or not...Jon said a couple of weeks ago that he was in process of completely overhauling the chat..

JOE !! - I finally managed to pick up my copy of the new album. Wow! It sounds so spontaneous yet planned and detailed perfectly. I hate saying a song on it is my favorite cause they're all great but one I can't wait to learn to play is Searching. You truly are genius songwriter/musician. You're ability to have such a vast range of styles across your albums...I don't really HAVE to listen to anyone else haha. I just wish my friends could "listen" or even remotely comprehend your brilliance so I'd have someone to gawk in amazement at my speakers and laugh along with great licks you come up with.
Again, thanks for being such an inspiration and motivation for me to become a better musician!
-Nik

My Day-
Skipped school to pick up 'Is There Love In Space?'
Popped it in, pressed play at about 15:40 hours.
Now, I am not going to post an essay style review; quite the opposite, I will just lay down random words, stream of consciousness describing the music that Joe has released today:
Rock, Organic, Cosmic, Free, Transformed, Unique, Experimental, Journey, Stimulating, Inspiring, Air, Breathing, Time Travelling, Awe, Fireworks, Dynamic, Hopeful, Positive, The Future...
I don't know if anybody is with me on this one... But I was seriously flying through the depths of the universe when I was listening to this. I'm trying to describe what I captured and how I felt when I listened to the album a few hours ago with the above words.
This is definetly going to be the soundtrack of my 19th summer on this planet.

Ok people I know why I'm depressed, at first I thought it was the University thing, but its not.
I hate the area I live in, I actually put off going out with friends because of coming back home at late times....in fact no...coming back at any time. The people round here always seem to be so violent (ages 12+).
The street I live in is fine, its the area I have to go through to get to it, nearly every area surrounding is really bad as well. You can't walk down the street anymore without some 16 year old guy built like a brick wall mugging you...or worse beating the sh*t out of you for no reason.
I've told my parents this but they just say I'm being silly, and that I'd get that kinda behaviour anywhere its not the area, its the people. I know that its the people in this area that make this area a pain in the ass to live in. They've asked me to give them examples of nice areas...and I have given them. Then I get ignored and get told I am getting on their nerves. What else can I do? this is really getting me down. :-(

Greyfox lol, that was the only place on my good places list anyway.
Im going to have to live in this sh*tty area unless you guys can think of a way out, but I need to stay close, so staying in Birmingham (even though I hate it) is a must because its close to Staffordshire Uni.
After I have graduated Uni, I can go into game design which is a 4 year couse then after another 2 years or so I should be able to pay off my student load...after another 2 years....I'm probably going to be able to buy a house...so I'm stuck here for atleast another 8 years :-(.
Please guys I need more suggestions, this is getting on top of me.

Hi Joe; Love the new album! In some ways it seems like "Strange Beautiful Music", part 2. But that's not a bad thing. I have enjoyed the direction your music has gone over the last 4 years or so. It's helping to make me a better guitarist because of all the different approaches you're exploring. I look forward to seeing you Sunday in Dallas. Thanks for all your work and music.

delfino, there is a way. play like mad, have gigs and band practises everyday or at leats once a week. make them good gigs become well known. take birminham by storm, soon u'll get a jaaaaeeerrrb/ job and loadsa a gig, get enough money and go and perform for a week in london, take london by storm, make first cd/album or single, be famous and rock the world! and see who's laughing. lol.. or... fake ure own death and move to devon. lol, devon is good ya know. i wouldn't fake ure own death though...... the fake own death thing is a joke so don't take it seriously and get me done for helping with suicide and get me locked up and not play guitar and come out wen i'm ol and wrinkly and forget how to play guitar coz if that happened i'll have to fake my death too and run away to devon... lol and don't think of faking ure own death so i run and fake my own death.

Hey Joe...I couldn't believe that the d-day was here today! I kept listening to the clips on the web site but it was kind of frustrating...a good frustration though...I've been listening to your music since 1996, and I was always excited before the release of your new records...Is there love in space? is definately an awesome album, I was glad to hear all the tunes that make your style unique! and of course amazed by the new guitar sounds you brought in...I can't wait to see you in July in Paris...It'have always been my dream to see you on stage! hope my dream will come true! keep on rocking in space!

Greyfox Thats been my only way of keep myself happy, playing the guitar. I will need to fnd a band obviously and get good enough to play gigs, Hopefully I will be out of Birmingham soon...I can't believe how down I am over this.
I'm going out with friends for the first time in ages on Friday, I'm going to Wolverhampton by train, when I get back from the club I'm going to I'm going to have to walk through this place at midnight or there abouts...thats going to suck. My heart will be going a mile a minute, I hope nothing happens but I'm almost certain that it will...
