Joeman9...thanks for not taking offense at my words...no unwanted advice given or offered....I understand your dislike of school....very few people actually do like it... it is no fun.....kinda like practicing scales over and over for days or weeks tryin to get em down pat...doesn't take long to get under yer skin so to speak ....you get to the point of hating em...lol...but, the payoff comes in the long haul...

JOE !! - I finally managed to pick up my copy of the new album. Wow! It sounds so spontaneous yet planned and detailed perfectly. I hate saying a song on it is my favorite cause they're all great but one I can't wait to learn to play is Searching. You truly are genius songwriter/musician. You're ability to have such a vast range of styles across your albums...I don't really HAVE to listen to anyone else haha. I just wish my friends could "listen" or even remotely comprehend your brilliance so I'd have someone to gawk in amazement at my speakers and laugh along with great licks you come up with.

jazzy boy glad to see it's been semi cleared up now if I could only have Mikanaro forgiveness and once you and tomjr and bluesbloke get through with it, it's over. so it's 1/4 actually.

Ok people I know why I'm depressed, at first I thought it was the University thing, but its not.

I hate the area I live in, I actually put off going out with friends because of coming back home at late times....in fact no...coming back at any time. The people round here always seem to be so violent (ages 12+).

The street I live in is fine, its the area I have to go through to get to it, nearly every area surrounding is really bad as well. You can't walk down the street anymore without some 16 year old guy built like a brick wall mugging you...or worse beating the sh*t out of you for no reason.

I've told my parents this but they just say I'm being silly, and that I'd get that kinda behaviour anywhere its not the area, its the people. I know that its the people in this area that make this area a pain in the ass to live in. They've asked me to give them examples of nice areas...and I have given them. Then I get ignored and get told I am getting on their nerves. What else can I do? this is really getting me down. :-(

Greyfox lol, that was the only place on my good places list anyway. Im going to have to live in this sh*tty area unless you guys can think of a way out, but I need to stay close, so staying in Birmingham (even though I hate it) is a must because its close to Staffordshire Uni. After I have graduated Uni, I can go into game design which is a 4 year couse then after another 2 years or so I should be able to pay off my student load...after another 2 years....I'm probably going to be able to buy a house...so I'm stuck here for atleast another 8 years :-(.

Please guys I need more suggestions, this is getting on top of me.

Hi Joe; Love the new album! In some ways it seems like "Strange Beautiful Music", part 2. But that's not a bad thing. I have enjoyed the direction your music has gone over the last 4 years or so. It's helping to make me a better guitarist because of all the different approaches you're exploring. I look forward to seeing you Sunday in Dallas. Thanks for all your work and music.

Greyfox Thats been my only way of keep myself happy, playing the guitar. I will need to fnd a band obviously and get good enough to play gigs, Hopefully I will be out of Birmingham soon...I can't believe how down I am over this.

I'm going out with friends for the first time in ages on Friday, I'm going to Wolverhampton by train, when I get back from the club I'm going to I'm going to have to walk through this place at midnight or there abouts...thats going to suck.
