Sammy Andrews - F#m7add11 is a nice one...Try this, 6th string to 1st - 2 4 2 4 0 0....Play the 2nd fret with a half bar with your 1st finger, or use your thumb wrapped round the neck! So the notes are F# C# E B B E; or you can try this one to include the minor 3rd: 2 4 2 2 0 0, which makes the notes F# C# E A B E...I think I prefer the second one, but either works! Whenever you're making up a chord, think of the notes you really need - which ones you can miss out, and just fine the fingering which is most comfortable for you. For the 2nd chord's fingering, try a barre on the bottom three strings with the 1st finger, then hit the 3rd string with your 2nd finger, using your 4th finger for the C# on the 5th string. Good luck!

s1220...hmmmm..I'm not real good on working on guitars, but to lower the action without string buzz...you may end up shimming the nut as you lower the trem posts to achieve the low action you are looking for ...

Powerslave, Austin, SupaaDave, I'd rather spray and run. LOL! The one bug that freaks me out the most is what we call a thousand legger. I google searched it just to find a picture, and I also got a nice description. They're "good" bugs, but if they come near me, their dead bugs. http://www.ipm.iastate.edu/ipm/iiin/housece.html

I now freaked myself out and have my feet up on the chair. lmao!

Delfino, I've done that too with my towels. lol! As for shaving your head ~ if it feels good, do it! As for getting a signature tattooed on your head ~ lmao! You sure you wanna do that?

Mick, dammit! Like I don't have enough creepy shit in my head! Now you have to add another freakazoid of nature - with a friggin' shell even! ACK!! I didn't get out today. I've had a wicked sinus headache since last night. Feels like somebody dropped a hammer on my face! lol!

Joeman9, No WAY am I clicking on that link! lol! I don't need to actually SEE it! No way!!! lol!

Alexandre, friend kiss received. Thank you!

DCK, the walkman sounds right. Was it the heavyset guy dancing to Summer Song? Are we getting close? lol!

The 1st on is 21nd row 103 center and then I went back @ 9:45 to print the seating chart and I got row H (8) sec 104 (the lt side looking @ the stage) That's Joe and Steve Morse's side! Just where I want to be! So anyone want my xtra ticket let me know!It cost me 60 with all the charges. I haven't seen anything about Jones Beach yet. I'll be hitting that show too, I hope!

Just want to say that Joes' new cd is ass kickin'. Always listened to Joe since I was little. Now I'm in the Navy and it's pretty much all I listen to. All the guys think my music is weird, but, if this is weird, who wants to be normal?

Ah...spiders. :-)

I really want to post a picture of this demony spider-like creature thing from a second-season episode of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer... I can't find a good picture, so these three will have to do. Click here, here, and here.

962 - "The people who make this decision are being given the position to choose whether or not someone lives. This also means they are being given the choice as to whether or not someone dies."

Most of the time, it's the actual affected person that makes this decision, right? You either make the decision yourself consciously, or you do so through an advance directive or a living will.

"why shouldn't we be given the choice as to whether or not a foetus is terminated before it grows into a fully-functional biological organism"

That's the big question. Sorta sticking with the same example (deciding whether or not oneself should live or die)... Do you think there are babies growing in wombs thinking "This whole life thing sucks...I wish I was never conceived."...? Do you think we're ever prolonging the life of a fetus against its will? Do you think you or I thought that when we were in the womb?

Given the option, I don't see how any organism (human or otherwise) would rather choose to not exist instead of being alive (or would be happy with living for a few months and being aborted instead of living for several years)...

Gary Scott - Playing the 2nd fret on both E strings will give you the doubled F# (the third). I'm sure there are other ways to do it, too... Like I said before, I don't have a guitar here with me at school...I just have my bass.
anibur - I don't think Joe has a private jet. If he did, why would he go everywhere by bus?
michelle - Joe's Sony commercial was for the Walkman.

LOL...did you read the notice at the bottom of the bug page?

"Note: this information is valid for Iowa. It may or may not apply in your area."

Maybe when those bugs make it to PA, they turn into Super-Duper Human-Eating Bugs. ;-)

mick87 - "I actually had forgotten I wrote the bloody thing in the first place!"

LOL...did you start reading it and think to yourself "Hey, this guy knows what he's talking about!" and then realize that it was your letter? ;-)

jelly man - I love The Chronicles Of Narnia...great books! :-)
Sammy Andrews - "I'm impressed ...that you being a bass player, would be able to recognise what chords are being utilized"

OUCH!!! Tell me how you really feel. LOL... ;-)

320032 is a Gmaj7. Joe says he doubles up on the third. So, play it as 220032 instead of 320032. That'll give you the third twice (the F#, played on each E string).

F#m7add11 = F# minor 7, with an added 11

marimariSRV - "That's Joe and Steve Morse's side!"

Hmmm...? Joe plays at stage right. Steve plays at stage right when he's with The Dixie Dregs, but he plays at stage left when he's with Deep Purple... He did when I saw them back in 2002, at least.

...Austin...

NOVJUL, hey thanks for the tip for finding the tabs, shall have a look sometime, and if you ever have trouble wit ur car, or bike, pls don't hesitate to ask, that's my favour to you mate.

co's I work on cars and bike a lot, I have a race car in my side yard, and my dad used to be a race cyclist, so cool, so we have like thirteen bikes around me place, even though there is only six in da family. co's me the youngest, 15 I am. how old are you?

ok, catch ya later mate. if ya wanna talk, just send to, Feebles_is@hotmail.com

names weird aye, some girl gave me the name, dunno where she got it from.

ah well. talk to ya soon.

cioa.

DO THE STU, hey, you read Narnia? they are so cool, you got the television series? that is sorta good, not as good as the books tho, but they did a pretty good job I reckon... so yeah. what else do you do, like where do you work.

ok, ciao. goota run.

Delfino Pie, hey, havn't talked to you for a while mate. how ya been? got any more tips for guitar? I am getting pretty good, learned how to pick b watching the G3 dvd, that is so cool.

well, also what is cool, is I have now learned how to do a bit of trial bike riding, that's thosw guys that jump on their back wheel and hold it there, and jump really high, like doing tricks, so some tricks would be jumping on park benches, which is pretty hard. so I gotta a mate who does it competition, so he is teaching me all this cool stuff.

ok, talk to ya soon mate. hope to hear from ya.

ciao!

KEEP ON ROCKIN IN THE FREE WORLD!

I just want to put my two cents in: Joe, this new album, "Is there Love in Space?" is great. I think this is some of your best work yet, with some really creative new vibes. Your technique and the evolution of it in your songwriting really stands out on this album. As a long time guitar player, I always try to come up with new and cool stuff, but your songs on this album are things I couldn't even begin to dream of.

Hi, fairly relaxed albeit busy weekend. Very busy Monday. I've read the first couple of pages, but I really want to go home as it's getting towards 8pm and I have a cold pizza sitting next to me that really wants to go home and get reheated. I'm also rather tired.

Ovation if you hadn't mentioned I wouldn't have noticed the name change.

Oops, still haven't voted for round 5 yet. I did the votes weeks ago, but I haven't sent them yet.

Hi Martina, good to see you around here again.

5 pages behind. Bye!

S4tch Boogie I'm fine lol, How are you doing? My friend recently bought himself an acoustic...a right handed acoustic and he's a lefty but suprisingly enough he has no trouble whatso ever. I would've said he was the least likely of my friends to pick up an instrument because he isnt really interested in music...but now he has one I'm educating him on who rocks and nots(?!). Obviously I told him about Satch, Vai and Malmsteen. I'm kinda helping everyone and I'm not that good lol.

I also realised this morning while lying awake...I will of been playing 2 years this September...I always thought it was going to be three years...I started in september 2002...am I adding that all up right?

Michelle After a night's sleep I have re-thought the head tattoo...I think an ass one would be better lol j/k. If I get a back stage pass I'll ask them so sign some pick guards or something. :-)

I just found out Friday evening that my wife is Pregnant!

It will be our first kid. She found out Wednesday, but told me on Friday......and Friday just happened to be the night of our 5 year anniversary.

We were not expecting to have a child yet (probably a couple of more years) but now that we are, I have never been more excited, or frightened in my life. :)

IceZer, I think you get an email 2 or 3 days before the show, and your name shows up as "winner of a backstage pass" in the road section. Make sure you have the right email addy so the webmaster can get through to you. It'd be a shame to lose/waste a pass. Good luck girl!

On less important and joyful note...anyone know what the name of the Fender Telecaster is with a tremolo arm...and how much it would cost (in £'s) to have a 24-fret neck installed?
