did anyone see animal planet yesterday? the horse that was lip sincing(sp?). and the cat that sat on his back? wicked cute.
or how about Alias, anyone watch that? love that show...
clarky: so i have a short story. guess who i saw yesterday? i was proud of myself, didnt even crack him a smile, just acted like he wasnt even there. although i wonder if that was the right thing to do? maybe i should have said hello? i was a little uncomfortable, but have no feelings about him at all. well accept that he's a dick. so i saw him because theres a softball league in town, and the ole man is playing this year, pitching, and dan is on another team, so i guess i just have to hope kev doesnt get wind of who he is or he will lose it. so this summer should be interesting?
so how are you feeling? is everything healing up ok? i should get the CD any day now.
mischeivous(sp?): nice saying about the husbands, you could be right...
guitarded boy: congrats.
trutina: how are you feeling?

guitarded boy congrats!
austin/gary moore careful austin, the F# is the seventh of Gmaj7, doubling the third would be doubling the B. an easy voicing you could use would be a usual Gmaj7 chord w/o the low G. [x20002]

Hey everybody, writing from work since my computer finally gave up on me last night... :-((( Just as I was about to solve everything that isn't right on this planet, it said (and I quote) 'PSSCCHHHH' and died. And now I forgot what the solution was. Too bad.
Anyhoo, the comp is dead and I'm hoping to fix it tonight with the help of my brother. I WAS actually on my way to fix it myself, but before I had the chance of saving it, it decided to give up and now I can't even get into WIndows anymore. And as that's beyond my limits, I'm bribing my brother with dinner in exchange for a repair. Hope it goes well. Thanks everyone for your help (Austin, thanks to your tip of searching google I actually figured what the problem with Norton was, thanks a million).

Lets get a little poll going here...
On a scale of 1-10...how har is it to change a pick up on a telecaster?
On a scale of 1-10 how hard is it to change the neck on a telecaster?
On a scale of 1-10 how hard is it to change the pick guard of a telecaster?
On a scale of 1-11 (thats right 11) how hard is it to customize a telecaster to make it look more individual...(just incase Malmsteen is reading...no I wont put ferrari stickers on it...)

CONGRATS TO GUITARDED BOY!! That's awesome man!
Eva: I hope you get it sorted out soon. I hate dealing with computer issues, though I rarely experience them. -How dare these things break down.
Michelle: I know you're a bit leary(sp) of the eight legged critters, but ... This is what my next pet will be
I had a couple of these as a kid
Seriously ... they are one of the coolest pets. -Very easy to take care of, and very docile. I used to sit and watch TV while she sat on my shoulder. I also like having aquariums. I see a 125 gallon in my sitting room, not far off in the distant future.
Of course, there's nothing like purchasing new guitar stuff. You'll experience
G.A.S. if your son gets way into playing.

S1220: Flattenning out the curvature in the neck is a way to get the action to "feel" more even and lower without actually having to deal with the buzz problems of super low strings. I had this done to my guitar and it achieved what I was going for. The main reason you don't want to adjust a trussrod yourself is that most Ibanez guitars do not have biflex trussrods...this means that a concave curve can be fixed, but if you go too far and the neck is now bowed out in a convex curve the neck is ruined and there is nothing you can do to fix it. On top of that, there is always a chance you'll brek the neck. Just take it to a luthier and he/she will take care of this, along with seting up your action and intonation for about $30.

Greetings
I dont know if anyone has already mentioned this or not, but Rollingstone actually too time off from thier busy schedule to review the new G3 DVD. It is not all bad either, although they do bag on Malm, but then again it seems like everyone bags on Malm. Here is the link if anyone wants to check it out.

The Forgotten (Part 2) For G3!
Joeman9, I checked out that Camel Spider link....that is f*ing sick! how did you find out about that?
Michelle, you have to check out the camel spider thing, it's crazy. You've seen one of the Alien films, right? you know the face-huggers in that? that's what it looks like. It's about that size too, and the bastard thing can jump! It's not that scary tho....i'ts just morally wrong! Maybe it's mutated due to exposure to hazardous chemicals in the Iraqi soil!
marimariSRV, no you won't find Igor's Road Tested record on amazon or Sony music. The only place I found it was on Guitar9, but it's a really easy way to get hold of it. Sorry, but i'd rather not make a hot-copy....I'd feel guilty cause the man put so much into making that record, and unfortunately didn't get that much back. Still, he got to do a show with Uli Jon Roth and Al DiMeola in London a couple of years ago, so it's not all bad!
I hope we do get to meet up in London, it'd be cool. I have a whole bunch of things to do there - 2 concerts and I got a friend to see there......I'll have a think about that and see what'd work out best!
for your info *your arrival is imminent*!
could you tell me again the date of that Jeff Beck show?! :)
Austin, er, when it comes for someone to make the decision to shove a hose down your throat, you're usually unconscious, or not in any fit state to decide whether or not you want help breathing, so it's the doctors who make the decision. but it's still a case of someone being able to make an executive decision about someone elses life/death.
And no, I don't believe a feotus ever 'thinks it's in the womb', because like I said before, I don't think it's until we're born that we have any sense of self-awareness or of what we are.
Secret Prayer for G3 Slovenia!
emsbroek, are you going to see Vai's show in Amsterdam, with the Metropole Orchestra?
Ovation1, yeah I'm still waiting on Guitar Wars! I know it'll take a while so I'll be patient. You said it's better than the Astoria show, and that was so worth waiting for, so I can cope with being patient! hehe. Cheers dude, hey if you find Igor's album on Guitar9, maybe you could post the link for it right here for mari to have a look at?

I'm still 2 pages behind. I'll catch up later.
Let's play NAME THAT TUNE!
Somebody post a paragraph or two of a song, and the rest of us have to guess the name of the song and the artist.
First song ~ it's pretty easy ;-)
Why don't you listen to me when I try to talk to you
Stop thinking of yourself, for just a second fool
Shut up, shut up, I don't wanna hear your mouth
Your mother made a monster, now get the hell out of my house
Can't stand it for another day
I ain't gonna live my life this way
Cold sweat, my fists are clenching
Stomp, stomp, stomp the idiot convention

I thought instead of buying a mid-range ibanez for like £400...im going to buy a cheap guitar and customize it, like change the neck, change the pickups...probly do something with the paint.
And im going to finally buy a new pickguard this weekend for my telecaster...ive always liked the idea of a black telecaster with a black pickguard..they just look cool.
