hey all.... things havent been so good here... my grampa didnt do so well yesterday... because the f*kin doctors wouldnt let him eat for TWO days and made him drink the chalkey crap for the last 24 hours he of course was weak and dehydrated... kidney functions dropped and dialysis was needed... and now he will be in hospital until at least early next week to see if his body is strong enough to continue on with the planned surgery... ugh, sometimes i really wish i was closer... thinking about heading out that way for a couple of days... but first, i just got a phone call from a good friend who is stranded in grand junction (3.5 hours straight west from denver on the colorado/utah border) so now i have been summoned to go pick him up.... my question if you have been stranded for 17 hours already couldnt you have waited until 530 or so to call instead of 403??????

anyway, hope all in satchland have a good day....

TASTEY: lol girl, I'm going to have to buy a pizza for this weekend now, lol, make sure to remind me!! hehe ;-)

michelle: haha, lol, I used the F word but it was for a good reason, haha, wow, is there ever a good reason to use that word??.... Gotta ask Clarky, lol!! ;-)

Zenfish: Kuul words of wisdom friend, I alway's enjoy reading your take on music....

Joeman9: haha, lol bro, the furry or fury?!?!.... Unleash it is man, and Hendrix Haters beware!! hehe ;-) BTW, happy 800!!....

The Prez: Thank's for finally answering my question, and yes, I disagree with you on SRV.... He was famous before he died and so was Hendrix.... It's ok to disagree, and everyone has their own opinion but my ass is better than yours, hehe ;-)

Seriously though, thanks for finally answering my question, lol!!.... And when your talking about listening to other guitarists, I definately do (more than you could imagine), and back then (Jimi' time), there may have been a few scuds (Eric Clap, etc. etc.), but Jimi was a nuclear bomb!!.... See what I mean?! ;-)

SupaaDave: Thank's for proving my Hendrix Theory, lol, it must have been very intimidating back then, and Jimi was not an intimidating guy on the guitar!!.... lol, cept' for when he set it on fire, lol!! ;-)

962: haha, I can imagine your JEM is jealous, lol, and some Spanish stuff sounds great!!.... Spanish Fly by E\//-/ is a good song to learn, lol, get the rhythm right, and Amen!! :-)

/\/\/\R|<: I hear what your saying about Jimi, lol, and not many people were in tune back then anyway, haha, and if he had a guitar tech, he would have always been in tune ;-) Happy 2K btw!!....

JS_JS: Good luck man, I'm sure it will all work out!!.... In no time at all you'll be back to where you were.... Heck, you can still post here, right!! :-) Step by step man....

mikesb: I hear ya on the listen to other guitarist's dealio, it happens to me when I see a new player, especially one that is a mad man on the acoustic, lol!!....

OME: lol man, kuul stuff!!.... And it's great to see Eddie back!! :-)

S4TCH BOOGIE: Banned?!?!.... Why??....

juju808: Hope your Gramp's get's through the ordeal with the Doc's, and maybe this time he can eat for the test.... btw, if your picking up your friend 3.5 hrs away, how much further is it to Grandpa?? ;-) God speed girl :-)

alexandrecaetano: No problem on your words man.... Say what you feel, and I definately agree with what you had to say to that crazy guy!! :-) I hope that guy was a bad joke.... btw, I'm happy to hear that Gonçalo has a great sense of humor, lol, we could have some fun!!.... Someday it will happen!! :-) :-) And congrats on the tickets!!.... Alexandre for G3!! ;-) :-)

It is more a return to his roots, and I love that saying For those about to JS95, i salute you.!!!! lol, I feel the same way, and listen to the Dog With Crown And Earring clip.... It is the most JS95 song on the album!!.... Joe is truely magical isnt he!! :-)

ovation1 Yes they were famous before their death, but their death made them even more famous through time. That always happens with death, especially at a young age. The same can be said with Kurt Cobain and Elvis Presley. Your frozen in time. Elvis sold more cd's the day after his death than he ever did. Jimi's death did add on to his legecy, and his material.

The Prez: Are they more famous after they die??.... Or is it just a matter of record companies capitalization of a much more sellable product because of image??.... It's all relative, and for example, I never owned a Nirvana album because it's not my kind of music.... More Famous and being Pimped and sold are two different things, and that accounts for alot of the different interpretations....

Goooooooood Morning Viet-Satchland Well its nearly 2pm and I've only just got my fat ass out of bed..and thats only because my next door neighbours are at it again...yes thats right they are at it AGAIN.

I don't wanna hear 70-year-olds doing that (sorry to any 70-year-olds out there)...but they sound like a smashed up moped tring to start...do this to get a full perspective on the situation.

Put on the huskiest voice you can, exhale and say "wah"...now do it for around 30 minutes and see how annoying it gets.

Anyways since no one is in my house I'm playing some Dream Theater through the wall...see how the old bangers like that! Mwahahahahahahhahaha

Any body else been woken up in this way before?

Beeb, Asterix! ...that's what my sons always say quickly after they burb, 'cause it saves them from all the embarrassment and disgrace (thinks they)...and it really looks like it works...for themselves at least -> not even a trace of any repentance.

ovation1: I already got me Andy Timmons' "That was then, This is now" two weeks ago, so he already changed my life...well, at least I had to buy this one (The spoken & The unspoken) too ;-)

zenfish: No need for killing, good points. I also value SBM very high, loved it right from the first listening, excellent stuff.
But I also like ITLIS; I don't think it's a bad thing to get back to something good. I don't know if something has being done better earlier. Personally I don't even want to think music quite that way; no need (for me) to do very much comparison or analytical evaluation. I just let it in (listening carefully, undisturbed, loud) and if it really makes me feel something, I usually like it and will listen to it again sometime.

You know it's getting harder and harder to create something REALLY new in rock music. And if you succeed in doing so these days, it's very often something (too) weird...for me anyway...
I prefer music that 'blows my mind' immediately to something that 'has to' grow in me. It's just that I less and less commonly run into such (the 1st) stuff.

You've got your way of thinking and I've got mine, let's stick with them ;-)

Delfino, I used to live in an apartment next to three single airline stewardesses. They had some awesome parties but I was never invited!!!! That upset me more than the "noise". LOL. My neighbour on the other side was worse. He owned one album, "Yellow Brick Road" which he played, I kid you not, constantly from 5:00 PM to midnight each and every day!!! After I moved out it was years before I could listen to Elton again!!!

Moral of the story, mix up your 'payback" music!!!

DEATH CUBE - Do you live Cleveland? I I heard that river is nice and Brown.

COErules - It looks like the main difference is in the Pick-ups. the 1000 has a DiMarzio PAF Pro (H) Neck PU

1200 has a DiMarzio PAF-Joe Neck PU

I think that's it.
