dantheman,
I do not agree with you when you say Steve Vai is:
Vai music is regrettable, lame, goofy, stupid, pointless, unartistic, weird, forgettable...
That trash talk is not needed here, Steve and Joe are best of friends and I dont think Joe would like to hear you talking like that!
We all know Steve Vai is different, but thats what makes Steve Vai -- Steve Vai. He's an awesome guitarist and very creative.. EXTREMELY CREATIVE! I personally listen to Joe's music the most. Joe is my guitar hero!

trutina,
Wow! Tornados eh? Glad your ok! Dunno if you remember me but I was asking about contributing to the t2j cd but it was too late. Anyway, I had a micro burst here in Arlington VA about 3 years ago......took out a 110 ft oak tree in my back yard almost destroying our house!

Depending on what area of VA you live in, we're pretty fortunate in being shielded from too many tornadoes. I do remember when Hurricane Hugo came through....even though I'm 3.75 hours inland and in the mountains, we still got hammered.
Bill, is everything okay out your way?

Thanks Alexandre! Youre gonna rock out in Rock in Rio...man, thats going to be a crazy blast. Ozzfest was tiring as hell and Rock in Rio is probably 200 times wilder than that. I wish I was in Spain right now. You take care bro... :-)
Civgeek: I heard Vivaldi used to encourage his fans to crowdsurf during Four seaons...and get shitfaced on absinthe. Is that true?
Delfino: G3 will be killer! sneak in a camera. I did that and got threatened by one of the security douchebags. Neil Zlozower was there too. But his pics were horeshit compared to mine :-)
Ovation: There are quiet a few satch songs I have not heard still....but you know, ahem, the internet works wonders sometimes. The power cosmic part 1 is just badass! I wanted itlis to have that more trippy feel to it. Next time!
Anyone know any websites that dissect songs for subliminal messages? If you reverse I like the rain intro, you can hear Joe using his electric clipper to shave his head.
gee3: satch.

How many of you guys heard WHOOKAM by Vai?
! ! !
Reverse the song and you will hear a voice that sounds eerily like Freddie Mercury saying Hail Mary...
Its really freaky.
Oo, well, Jesus Christ, living on a little black hole in our souls
and on our feelings, God, but
then you know in our hearts. Love. (Spoken:) Holy Mary, Mother of God, and
blessed is the fruit
of thy womb. Oh, ak-ooh, oh, ak. Oh, ak-ooh, oh, ak.

why are you not COMMING to CHICAGO for The Deep purple/ Thin Lizzy thing. Can you please come? The Riv misses your presence. Plus my js100 you signed for me at Tower Records during your in-store is in need of another autograph. I got a ride up to the event and had to hitchhike back. I dont know if you recall how bad it was raining but I was standiing in the rain for an hour before someone picked me up. The autograph kinda rubbed off. Plus I just like to hear you live. Man the instore concert was the best concert I have ever been to I was so close. But anyway you should come thru.

Pardon my anger, but I missed Joe's instore at cocinnati, why? One, I was in the damn hospital for four days. Two, it must of been a last minute decision, it wasn't posted until a wekk before. I didn't check the site within 2 weeks.

Mowlie - No digital cameras? Thats one of the lamest thing I have ever heard in my life! Security guards most of the time are on power trips. They assume they have the right to do anything. Since I was fucked around with so bad after the show...Joe did not show up backstage and my camera was missing, I recieved this email then...
Thanks for your high spirited email! Glad you finally found out who I am.
Sorry you got dicked around backstage---Joe's doing, not mine or Steve's I
assure you.
Have a wonderful holiday! I hope I see you around.
Yours,
Billy Sheehan

Mowlie - They took it away so that they could prevent you from taking more pics. But they gave you some lame reasons. That sucks. But next time, take 2 cameras. If they take one, pull out another!

civgeek - Well, Mozart had a lot of groupies he had to handle! Middle aged women who had Tea parties and dreamt of doing special favors for Mozart. Mozart was a pimp.
Do the Stu - I was thinking, if you were a woman, would you name yourself Do the Dishes?

mikey - I'd like to think that t2j is informative as well as fun.. lol..
michelle - now that's not a nice thing to say to your hero... Joe.. go to Australia.. is it like.. Joe go there 'cos I can't think of anywhere further away that has an atmosphree that can support human life...

alexandre - the weekend will be busy.. football tournament.. my oldest is playing Saturday and the youngest on Sunday.. the weekend is expected to be sunny.. so I get to watch footie all weekend and catch a tan... just perfect...
you have yourself a great weekend too bro..
zen - interesting comments about Satch's new album.. out of curiosity.. what do you think of Vai and Petrucci...
jonprince - did you ever get your head / fingers around the Lydian Dominant thing we was jamming with.. I seem to recall you taking a shine to that little lick I showed you...
jazzy - the interesting ladies man / grreat composer was Vivaldi.. two reasons..
1 - he was a priest
2 - most of his orchestra and choir were nuns
his nickname was Testarossa.. because he was a red-head [unusual for an Italian]
anyways.. he was well known for keeping the wives of the local gentry and some of his orchestra well... er... confessed.. lol..
now this is going to sound weird...
a few days ago I went to see the day after tomorrow
JOE - WE LOVE YOU - COME BACK FROM AUSTRALIA

Hi Joe,
I can't wait until you get out here to the UK. I was wondering, have you ever appeared on British TV? You should get yourself on the Jools Holland show 'Later'. I think you and the boys would fit right in with the atmosphere.
See you on the 28th June!
