Zenfish ~ thanks for explaining about ITLIS vs SBM ~ I do understand your position better now ~ OF COURSE course you have the absolute right to express these thoughts ~ especially to Joe! ~ I never said you couldn't or shouldn't ~ I said we differ +respectfully+ in our opinions

"Big Bad Moon" is a classic and will never be surpassed ~ it hardly seems fair to compare Joe's latest vocals with that song ~ I'm just happy to hear him singing again ~ my opinion (still respectful of yours): "I Like The Rain" is a better song than "Ride" ~ I'll have to listen again to "Ride" to do the specific comparison

not to put words in your mouth, but I fear you'll hear these opinions and think, "Faye's an idiot; she knows nothing"

TSOD has grown on me, but over time I'm beginning to feel frustrated with the "k" sound of the wah ~ the annoyance meter is starting to quiver

ITLIS, Bamboo, Searching, these are the newest cLaSsiC Joe-tunes

Smiles and Friendly waves ~ ~ ~

I'm thinking of buying a blank guitar body...which I am going to carve stuff in for my friends birthday.

I'm alright when it comes to wood work so this shouldn't be a problem, the design however is going to take me some time as I want to make it as detailed as possible. Steve has a guitar made by McSwain guitars which has faces carved into it which makes them look like they stand out.

My design is to have a turtles covering most of the surface taking into consideration hardware etc...

See when I said I am alright when it comes to woodwork...maybe I should've said I WAS alright when it comes to woodwork....I don't think Ive done any since before I came to college. Oh well how hard can it be lol...chisel hammer...patience and accuracy :-)

Wish me luck

Brother al...

Just look at it this way, when I was in High School & College, any test that I had was pretty much (True & False) & Multiple Choice...

I don't ever having to remember writing out anything for a test... the only time an Essay was used was for oral presentations, as long as you had written and studied what it was about... it was pretty straight forward after that... that way the teacher knew you weren't bullshipping... therefore you always got a good grade... but a written test where you're writing out your answers... forget it... if you can pull that kind of dictation off, you're no doubt a smarter lad than I was... hehe

Hey Joe... I'm finally gettin around to hangin up my old posters of ya and some T-shirts I bought at some of your shows... it's a small room too... just my office... fa king thing looks like a Shrine....lol

Break out the candles....

I found this song on the web this day. It said Joe Satriani - Vivaldi's four seasons. I wonder if this realy is something you have ever recorded? if not, do you know who ?

I strongly doubt Joe would even take part in a 'guitar duel'. And rightly so.

Hello!

Thanks for the welcome backs! :)

I come here two days in a row!! This is getting better! :)

Hey, I miss doing this too:

Check out my page at SoundClick and listen to "Orcinus Orca", my new tune. It was played with my new beautiful Ibanez acoustic-electric! :p You can see a picture of it on the site.

Tell me what you think of the song! ;p

I'll post the rest of my songs there when I have time... They're still at IUMA...

Well, It's 11:00 p.m. and I'll start studying... :(

Hey everybody,

I just completed recording a song of mine called "Shadows of the Flame". If you guys could please check it out and leave me some feedback I'd really really appreciate it! The into is long but it's an overall decent song. There is an alternate version at Steve Rosners soundlick page (a.k.a chromeboy Fred) .Here is the link to my soundclick page (please note I am not doing any self promotion crap here on this site! Im just contributing to the enjoyment of music and all that fun stuff). If there is another T2J CD I really want to contribute this song to the CD! http://www.soundclick.com/bands/1/chriscarsonmusic.htm

and Steve Rosners site with the alternate version

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/6/stevenmrosnermusic.htm

I hope you all enjoy...

Chris
